CaitVi Fic Update

I'll do my best to get one more chapter out this weekend, but I really want to make sure I get this next one in particular right. I work weekends and I have an overnight trip planned Sunday-Monday, so there might not be another update until next week. Trust me everyone, it'll be worth it!

I figure posting over 75,000 words in two weeks has earned me a little leeway and good will 😅🤣 maybe I'll post a snippet to keep you guys fed until it's finished, but no promises

Hey, for Tethered I'd suggest a Caitlyn centered companion story/ sequel rather than a full rewrite. Thanks for writing!

I thought about that as well, but because of the lore expansion, there's a lot that I would need to rewrite to fit that :(

Hey everyone! I'm still alive and kicking. It's just been an insanely busy week with work, dnd, and house renovations. I'm writing bits at a time when I can for the Pirate AU. Hopefully, I can get it out at the end of the week.

I'm already three chapters into the new "Tethered" rewrite (since I can copy and paste a lot of it right now, it's going by very quickly), and it's already, in my opinion, a more interesting story. I think I will keep the alternative POV as I solidify the kind of story I want to tell. Hopefully you guys like the changes. <3

I didn't expect to love writing "Tethered" as much as I am! This Arcane bond between Caitlyn and Vi is so much fun to explore as is the more antagonistic relationship between them. An enjoyable deviation from Low Lays the Devil where they're madly in love 😂

The tattooed burglar swung her legs over the balcony railing with confident, graceful movement and turned so that she was facing Caitlyn. “Thanks again for not shooting me,” she said with a crooked smile. Caitlyn felt her breath hitch ever so slightly at how handsome this burglar was and prayed that the other woman hadn’t heard it. “Thanks for potentially saving my dissertation,” she replied. There was an awkward pause and Caitlyn got the bizarre feeling that the woman didn’t actually want to leave. Caitlyn was surprised that she didn’t want her to leave, either. It lasted only a moment before the stranger lowered herself down partially. She looked up at Caitlyn one more time with a more serious expression. “You should lock your balcony. The next burglar may not be as nice.”

Inspired by this post. I'll get back to writing "Low Lays the Devil in Me" soon, but I think someone needs to take my keyboard away from me because I have a problem. And bring me an ice pack for my poor hands.

Work was not good today (happens when you start the day breaking a piece of equipment that costs $300 😬) but everyone's kind comments on here and on AO3 on Low Lays the Devil for the last chapter has me cheesing like an idiot. Thanks for reading and commenting and just being so nice!
