I finally got to get some work done on the CaitVi pirate AU. I’m hoping to have the prologue and first chapter out on Monday, but possibly sooner. I have a dresser that I’ve been meaning to paint for months that I want to get done though 😅

This is such a weird world and I have no idea how my brain came up with it. I'm not sure if anyone will actually find it interesting, but I'll still write it because it's a such a fun concept to play around with, even if it incredibly strange.

If you want a hint: I have corporatized the world of the gods and asked myself what would happen if the God of Death wants to retire.

Mentioned this in a reply on a different post, but thinking about doing a Hades/Persephone CaitVi oneshot, but definitely with a twist (definitely not focusing on the original Greek version lol). Maybe after the next chapter is out 🤔🤔

I've said before that I've been making up my fics as I go, as I have found out that I am more of a discovery writer than I am an outline writer. So this entire time for "Low Lays the Devil in Me," I've had no idea how the conflict will come to a climax.

Oh, oh, oh booooooy. I've thought of it and I am soooooo excited!!! I also think I know what the last scene will be. Don't worry, we still have quite a bit of plot left. I think we're over the halfway mark plot wise, but I'm just stoked!

Caitlyn smiled. “Of course. It sounds like an incredible invention.” Powder looked at her in awe. “You are officially the coolest person I know.” Vi scoffed in offense. “What about me?” Powder completely ignored her and grabbed Caitlyn’s hand to pull her down the street. “Come with me! Vi said you’re a really good dancer. You've got to check out this place down the street. One of the innovators created a band of instruments that play by themselves!”

So, mainly my pride is injured, but I did hurt my left hand a bit tripping and I used my hand to break my fall. Just scraped up, nothing even close to broken or sprained, so all good. I might be a little slow on any updates just because it's awkward to type. Obviously I'm going to sit here and force myself to type through the pain, but just wanted to let you all know.
