I'm going to start by saying that I absolutely adore your fics, and that this is just a tiny nitpick...
You wrote that the Kiramman hunting estate is 100 acres and has wolves in it, but wild wolves have a range of like 30000 acres at the very smallest size...which is also - oddly enough - about the size of some hunting estates in Scotland (between 15000-60000 acres but average around 27000 acres).
100 acres is actually a pretty small amount of land.
And yes I realise probably no one else in the world will notice, but, hi, I'm a nerd for shit like that, sorry 😬
I love and appreciate this information, I promise! I love to learn new things 😊 Instead of making a 30,000 acre island (which would be bigger than all of Piltover and Zaun), I'm going to say they are fantasy wolves that are small and don't need that much space 😅
I finally posted my CaitVi pirate AU after months of talking about it, and AO3 goes down/is being hella slow 😂😭 classic
I honestly got so caught up in just enjoying writing that I didn't realize I was so close being done with the next chapter 😂 I just have to edit and will hopefully have the next part of Low Lays the Devil in Me up soon!
When you make really long sequel to a really long fic, sometimes you make a small continuity error 😬 I fixed a tiny thing at the end Ch. 16 of "Low Lays the Devil in Me." I forgot Caitlyn had never actually been to the Sumps, she went to the level above it. Oops.
So I've gone through the ideas that were given for a potential one-shot, and, while I still say I don't know yet if I will write one, one of them did catch my eye, but it reminded me of an old AU plot I had for HP back when I liked HP. We'll see. I'm very excited to jump back into Tethered (working on that next chapter starting today), and part of me might be too excited about the Pirate AU to wait 😂
Caitlyn was surprised to see Vi actually facing the mirror, but then felt her heart sink when she saw why. Her brow was furrowed with frustrated concentration as she carefully attempted to apply concealer to her face tattoo. She growled in annoyance when the black ink peaked through what looked like one of several layers. Vi huffed and threw the concealer brush onto the counter, which bounced harmlessly into the sink. “Fuck,” she whispered angrily and hung her head in defeat. Caitlyn stepped in and slowly put a hand on Vi’s shoulder, which made her whip her head up in surprise. “Cupcake, I didn’t hear you. I—” she said, then as she remembered what she had just been doing, went to wipe off the make up with the back of her hand, which only smeared it across her cheek. “Damn it. I—I’m sorry, I should have asked to use it—” Caitlyn put a finger on her lips and Vi silenced herself. She patted the counter and Vi pulled herself up to sit on it. Without speaking a word, Caitlyn grabbed a washcloth and wet it before she gently wiped the smeared and ineffective makeup off, tenderly cupping Vi’s chin as she did so. Vi closed her eyes, either in shame or to accept the comfort Caitlyn offered her, and let out a shaky breath. “I don’t want your mom to see it,” she quietly confessed.
I'm about halfway through the first chapter of "Heart Made of Glass" sequel and I am just so excited! It's way better than the first chapter of the first fic, imo, and I hope you guys like it!!
It was just over an hour after breakfast when Vi and Caitlyn were set to leave the Manor, with Vi back in her clothes from the day before. Cassandra opened the door and stepped back, clearly not expecting someone to be waiting on her front steps. Vi looked around the councilor and her eyebrows flew up her brow in surprise. “Aunt Sevika?” she asked incredulously. Standing up in steel toed boots, dark leather pants with a few straps holding it together, and a cropped black muscle shirt with her signature dark, dull red and tattered cloak over one shoulder, was her mother’s best friend from when she was alive. “Hey, kid,” she grunted out.

The tether between Vi and Caitlyn is tested and experimented on, which results in something about it changing.
Hmmm. I'm kind of thinking of doing something I haven't done yet and going back to change up something super, super minor about Heart Made of Glass in the very beginning. It wouldn't effect the plot that's already happened at all (or if it does it would be so minor I think some people might not even notice), but it would help amp up the drama ever so slightly for future plans.
Not sure how I feel about changing something I've already posted beyond grammar/spelling errors. If any one who reads "Heart Made of Glass, My Mind of Stone" would care, let me know. Still pretty on the fence about it.
This is what happens when you start a story and post before knowing where it'll go. So far I've been able to avoid this pitfall, but I'm honestly surprised it hasn't been an issue yet given how quickly and casually I've been throwing the plot together. Besides, I've liked the creative challenge of molding the plot to what I've already written in my "canon" of the fic.
In case there is any confusion, I changed my old ao3 username to match this one, so all my ao3 works will now be under "caitlynkirammansrifle"
Vi watched the two Kiramman women stare at each other for what felt like an eternity. Caitlyn had once mentioned before that while she and Cassandra are very close, their shared stubbornness can lead to more frequent arguments than Caitlyn and her father have. Vi did not want a front row seat to this. She backed away towards the door. “I’ll give you some privacy. See you tom—” “Stay,” Caitlyn commanded, her eyes never leaving Cassandra’s. “I don’t want her to have the chance to spin this conversation to you in any way that benefits her. I want to hear what she has to say to justify herself in front of you.” Vi didn’t need to look at Cassandra to know that the councilor would tell her to listen to Caitlyn. This is what they’ve been waiting for and they needed to see how far Caitlyn would go for this.
