Hello again Caitlyn Kirammans, it's me, the one with the questions. I thank you for answering me yesterday (or 2 days ago) for the questions about your story Low Lays the Devil in Me and the future of it.
I still have some doubts about it like:
Low Lays the Devil in Me takes place in 2 scenarios which are the corruption in the Piltover Council with Caitlyn and the Shimmer cover-up in Stillwater Prison with Vi (if I remember correctly, correct me if I'm wrongđ¤) and Sevika will be Vi's partner in the prison.
1: Will Sevika have some relevance in Stillwater's story and her relationship with Vi? (maybe inspired by Orange the New Black if you know the series or how it happens inside the prisons)
2: Will there be some romance as Sevika x OC?
3: Are you a League of Legends veteran?
4: Will you make fanfics from other fandoms in the future or exclusively from arcane?
greetingsâââ
Hello! I am happy to answer questions đ and you are right. Vi is focusing on getting evidence of shimmer production in Stillwater and Caitlyn is focusing on Corina and the Chembaronsâ influence on the Council.
1. I do have serious plans for Sevika. This first bit of the story unfortunately with her and Vi in prison, we donât get to interact with her too much since Caitlyn only has access to her for 30 min a week. But! They have talked about getting both Vi and Sevika out of prison. They just need to gain access to the shimmer factory, which takes time.
2. I donât currently have any plans for Sevika being involved in any romance sub plots but thatâs not because I donât want to. I am making 75% of this up as I go along, so if it comes up later that Sevika has chemistry with someone, then I will definitely explore that through Caitlynâs eyes.
3. I have never once played League and I donât have plans to. I donât think Iâve even seen more than 10 seconds of gameplay đ but I have done a lot of reading up of LoL lore of Noxus, Piltover, and Zaun. I find the world building of this game very interesting, but LoL itself is not the kind of game Iâd like to play and the horror stories of its fanbase frighten me đ
4. I have written fanfic in the past for other fandoms, but never with this kind of excitement and the ones Iâve written for Arcane are far and away my most well received fics. I wonât say Iâll stick exclusively to Arcane, but I donât foresee me being gripped by another show like Arcane has gripped me anytime soon. Never say never though.
Thanks for the questions!! â¤ď¸đ
So, I've really started to flesh out the CaitVi Pirate AU. I'm sooooo stoked for it, you guys. It's going to be very different than anything I've written, which means it'll be challenging, but I am chomping at the bit to really get going on it. I don't think I'll wait for "Low Lays the Devil in Me" to be done, so I will probably start posting chapters after I'm done with "Tethered."
The Harrowing: (Rated M) Pirate AU; Pirate captain Vi and Piltovan Commander Caitlyn Kiramman are bitter rivals who have spent years crossing paths in Caitlyn's effort to thwart Vi's piracy. After entire crews of ships throughout the seas begin to vanish, leaving behind nothing but empty vessels, the Council of Piltover and the pirate haven of Bilgewater call a truce to uncover the reason behind the mysterious disappearances. Vi and Caitlyn must work together to end this plague before it spreads to the mainland. Can they set aside their differences, or will their rivalry lead to the end of the world as they know it? (Plot heavy, focus on world building, slow burn, enemies to lovers, WIP)
"I Will Give You my Rebel Heart" Series: (Rated M) A canon divergence AU about Vi and Caitlyn meeting as teenagers and becoming entangled in the ever growing divide between Zaun and Piltover. They do what they can to help end the corruption of their home, slowly falling in love through it all. (Plot heavy, focus on world building, slow burn, 350,000 words. 2 parts; Completed)
Tethered: (Rated Mâmight change) A canon divergence AU where teenagers Vi and Caitlyn become magically tethered together after an Arcane explosion, which results in them not being allowed to be more than 15 feet away from each other. As the tether evolves, more than just magic begins to bond the two girls together and soon, Cait and Vi wonder if they truly want to get rid of it. (Relationship focus, rated M; slightly enemies to lover. WIP)
Burglars, Books, and Balconies: (Rated M) A modern AU one shot where Caitlyn catches a pink haired burglar breaking into her apartment and is shocked when the woman offers her advice on her dissertation research she had lying out. (Cute, funny, fluff. Completed)
Upcoming Plans for Fics: Divorce AU (possible, not committed to the idea yet)
Brain, don't do this. You got a massive story you're working on already....but-but-but...đđđ
âAnd how is the councilor?â Vi asked carefully. âWell, currently, she is sleeping off the excessive amount of brandy she consumed last night,â he said with a sad smile. âHowever, when she wakes up, Iâm sure sheâll be quite distraught. Even though she knew this was coming, I donât believe that prepared her for how devastating this fight with our daughter would be.â âIt was for Caitlyn, too,â Vi admitted quietly. She rubbed at her forehead and sighed, a sense of despair creeping up. Tobias was contemplatively quiet as he dished up two bowls of soup and brought them over to the island. He sat down on the stool next to her. âMy wife and daughter are very similar,â he stated, âand that includes how they deal with their anger. They can be cruel, cutting, and even vengeful, if their wrath is powerful enough. However, despite what they both may feel or worry about right now, Caitlyn is incapable of truly hating her mother. Right now, in her anger, Iâm sure she thinks she does. But she is so angry partially because she loves her mother so much. They have a bond that even I do not fully understand and I honestly believe that, one day, Caitlyn will forgive Cassandra. It will be hard work, but the Kiramman women are nothing if not resilient.â

Recommend if you liked Emir from the CaitVi fic "Heart Made of Glass, My Mind of Stone."
GimmeTheFeels is doing amazing!!
I'll do my best to get one more chapter out this weekend, but I really want to make sure I get this next one in particular right. I work weekends and I have an overnight trip planned Sunday-Monday, so there might not be another update until next week. Trust me everyone, it'll be worth it!
I figure posting over 75,000 words in two weeks has earned me a little leeway and good will đ 𤣠maybe I'll post a snippet to keep you guys fed until it's finished, but no promises
âI donât think youâre stupid, Mohan,â Caitlyn said quietly, but resolutely as she met his gaze. He hummed, almost like he didnât believe her. âWell, then throw me a bone. Itâs okay if youâre pissed at your boss for giving you an assignment that he knew would fuck with you emotionally.â She sighed harshly and ran her fingers through her hair. Opening up a little bit wouldnât hurt, she thought. âFine, I am angry,â she stated, allowing some of her fury to break through. Mohan just stared at her, taking a drag from his cigarette. After several moments, he nodded. âOkay, then. Letâs guard your familyâs shit,â he said, stamping his cigarette out.

Caitlyn must contend with hostile forces on multiple fronts as Sheriff Marcus has a strange request for her and Mohanâs new assignment.
âI have a message and a warning,â Vi eventually said, her voice even and strong. It helped that she actually believed in what she was about to say. Vander shifted his body and expression at his daughterâs tone. Vi blinked and suddenly before her was not her father, but the Hound of the Underground. She refused to let that intimidate her. âSounds serious,â he said, pulling out his pipe and lighting it. Vi met his gaze, unwavering. âBlisters and bedrock serious.â Vander stared at Vi for several moments. Blisters and bedrock. A phrase her mother and Vander would say to each other that went back to their mining days. They used it only when what they were discussing was as serious as it could possibly be. It was a plea for trust, a cry for understanding, and warning to be honest. It was never, ever meant to be used lightly, then or now. To do so would break Vi and Vanderâs trust in each other and stain their shared memories of her mother and his best friend. Â

@wrongcaitlyn hi!!!! You are so sweet!!!??? Thank you, what an incredible thing to say! I'd love to read your CaitVi whenever you are able to put it out. đâ¤ď¸đ
Do y'all ever read a fic so good that it makes you want to elevate your own craft and also befriend the writer? It's almost like, "Hi! You write so well that you've inspired me to embark on a creative training arc. Also, can I yell about the character in your dms because you get it?"
Now that a dumb work emergency is over with, I can tackle this beast. This fucking bad boy is 12,300 words long. I got my emotional support Panda Express on the way and I'm going to try to get this beast edited before I leave for work in a few hours.
So, I said in the last chapter notes that this next one might take me a while because it's going to be beefy. I'm 6000 words in and I don't even think I'm halfway đđŹđ¤Ł thank god I'm a fast typer lol
