Saw a post on IG reels recently that said “what to do when narcissistic people attack!” And the comments were just a fucking mess. Apparently anyone who has slightly criticized you is a narcissistic person. 🤔 Also anyone who has narcissism that is trying to critique your art is just trying to manipulate you. 🤔 like huh?!
>"cluster b demonization isn't real! you're just making that up because you're attention seeking and wanna be a victim!!!"

Rant related to Doctor who
I actually miss Peter Capaldi. He immediately got backlash from the chronically online tourist fans for “being old”. But it’s the doctor. He’s already old. If anything him not hiding behind a young face anymore was some serious series character development.
Him regenerating into a young lady and then a young man afterwards seemed to be going backwards on this journey.
We still could have had a black doctor and a lady doctor but did they have to be young? I don’t think so. Yes I understand acting talent and all that but I’m sure they could have found someone.
People are obsessed with not aging and trying to stay perpetually young. If anything the doctor deciding to stop hiding from his age would be a defining character moment. Yes yes I understand “sexy doctor moment” and all that. But some of the sexiest moments from the doctor is when he’s showing off his empathy and thinking on his feet intelligence.
Doctor who tourists are usually drawn to stay longer than a regeneration with these moments.
But most important of all:
(Why is no one addressing the weird optical illusion that happened in the 14th doctor’s second picture. I’m so serious.)
Tumblr
Major YouTubers turning out to be extremists, scammers, abusers, or pathological liars isn’t even a surprise anymore. I think that says a lot about the type of danger is involved even in internet fame. As a famous YouTuber once said, “This isn’t even real fame and some of you can’t handle it.”
Even minimal fame seems to get to their heads. I believe Stan culture causes this too. How does an already vulnerable person stay grounded when that’s the case?
One second you’re making happy wheels part #765 and the next thousands of people claim to want to sleep with you. Then tons of fanart and fanfics inspired off of you. It goes instantly to the head.
You start to feel like a god. Like nothing you do will be perceived as terrible. The worst part? If you start to act like this the fans feed into it. “Yes King/Queen go off!”
Then either one of two things happen. You come back to earth and relax. Or you start ramping it up. The latter ends terribly all the time.
It seems that internet fame has two options. Use that as a platform to help others in some type of way or use it to feed your ego.
My time has come.
Here’s a meme based off my first books MMC.
I usually stop watching Dexter around Season 4, Episode 7.
Rant
Dexter not killing Trinity feels like a plot contrivance; there’s no real reason for him to let him live. He just decides not to kill him after already receiving the proof he needed. Instead, he gets sidetracked with some serial killer of the week because “he threatened Deb.” Really, Dexter? Do you not remember what happened just a few episodes ago because of Trinity?
The idea that “Trinity is on cooldown” doesn’t make sense. When has that ever been a consideration for him? It felt like the showrunners didn't want a predictable series, so they made Dexter act out of character. Trinity isn’t just another Miguel situation; Dexter has seen him kill innocents live. There’s no justification for not dealing with him ASAP.
You could argue that Dexter is struggling with parenthood and being a husband, which clouds his judgment. However, he has never allowed his role as a boyfriend and pseudo-father to so severely distort his logical reasoning. Show runners wanted Trinity to hurt Dexter. The only way they could get that outcome was to make Dexter act outside of his norm.
“Maybe he wanted to learn more about having a normal family life from Trinity.”
Dexter has tabled other serial killers with normal lives. He knows how’s to put on a show and still exist.
“Well Rita needed to go out that way for the set up!” (in a totally different show that the writers definitely knew would be a reality someday)
Actual take I’ve seen before. That show also shifts the dynamics around with the audiences relationship with Dexter so not a fan. I’ll explain. Imagine if Supernatural had a spin-off show that said: “erm actually the Winchesters were pieces of shit the entire time. You should hate them actually. Because technically they were still killing people even if they were irredeemable monsters!”
Then Sam and Dean are killed off by Adam and that found footage werewolf they chose not to hunt.
That’s how that ending feels. So no that “setup” isn’t a good payoff to either series. I’ll just pretend the show ended after S3.
Me: only interacts with writing posts and anime

CW: Death
Well I had a weird dream that the MASH Finale was even sadder. Sophie was starting to go and Colonel Potter couldn’t bring himself to believe it. So he did walks around the camp with her and Radar went with them. Father Mulcahy receives word from B.J. that his wife Peggy passed away. So Mulcahy holds separate secret funeral for both Potter’s horse and public funeral for B.J.’s wife all while still keeping his personal secret.
Then right after the funeral who comes “home” to the 4077 but Hawkeye himself? He notices the mood is very different in camp and begins to slowly cheer some people up. Yet respectfully to the pain. But it doesn’t work for B.J. The last part I saw is B.J. staring sadly at Hawkeye from a distance; just as they depart for home.
Brain does that weird thing where you can read character’s thoughts in the dream. B.J. thinks as the finale proceeds “I wish it was all different. I wish you could have met Peg and been my daughter’s uncle. Now we’re all going back home to the real world and my best friend won’t be there.”
(Klinger still gets married from what I saw but stays in Korea. Charles tries to help B.J. with Margaret but fails. There’s a minor funny moment where there’s cake after Peggy’s funeral but it’s entirely too sweet. It’s implied so people are just finding ways to respectfully discard of it after taking a few bites.)
This is a hot take on threads. I almost got run off the site for it. Lol
If you clicked on and read a fanfiction that had tags or a description that upset you and you were upset by it, that's your responsibility, not the author's responsibility.
If you were reading a fanfiction and you got to an unexpected part that disturbed you and you kept reading after you were disturbed, that was your choice and your responsibility, not the author's.
No one is forcing you to read fanfiction that upsets you. The back button is your friend.
If you are reading a piece of fanfiction it's because it interests you. Horrified fascination counts as interest. No fanfiction is holding you hostage and forcing you to read it.
