In the 1990 movie Marked For Death, Steven Seagal must take down a Jamaican druglord named Screwface. In it, there are a lot of Jamaicans, and when they talk about Screwface, it is awesome. At the risk of seeming insensitive to the Hollywood portrayal of Jamaicans, I’ll tell you I have a phrase that I often say whenever I hear the word face, and that is “witch ya scroo feese mon.”
Anyway, I’m working on a face / avatar generator app for the iphone and ipad. I’m pretty pumped about it. Below is the loading screen, homepage and main face-making page. I like the style and am starting to crank out the assets. Hope you like it - coming soonish!
This is an alternate look for the upcoming art for DJ Lani Love's new summer mixtape. In this version, the text for Lani Love is large and interacts with the front row of trees. I really liked this treatment but also have to admit that Ms Love was right in requesting a smaller, more cohesive nametag down at the bottom. Final version coming soon.
Legends of Rock #02 - Neil Young
Next up, the most American Canadian ever to grace us with rock and roll music. There isn't a whole lot I can say about Neil Young other than the man's a true Legend Of Rock and his run of 5 albums from 68-74 is unrivaled in my estimation of rock singer/songwriters.
A Neil mix for proof of prowess.

Last October I Married a Witch and for her birthday I made this poster to remind her. Pulled inspiration for text elements from several vintage “IMAW” movie posters but ended up going with my own character design and layout.
Another gig poster for the now Chicago-based DJ Lani Love. Changed up the style a bit this time to better portray her intended pop, disco and 80s setlist. I liked the look of the background on this so I made some wallpapers. You can get two versions of the wallpaper for your iPhone 4 or big old Droid right here.
Wrestlemania 31 Icons
Made some icons for this year’s Wrestlemania. They were printed out as stickers and used on bet-sheet score cards. Pretty fun little project.
