If Laurent notices and wants to varify Damen's claims he should really try the lovely magnifier his husband got him for his birthday...

Headcannon that in public Damen uses Laurent's titles and refers to him as ‘his majesty’ as much as possible because his lover got undermined as future King too much and he simply will not tolerate The Disrespect.  

On the flipside Laurent will drop a ‘my intended’ or ‘my husband’ with the frequency of that One Girl from highschool who needs to get her engagement ring into every photo.

Look I know I have no business devoting more brainpower to this or making it serious for no reason but I have come to the conclusion that Laurent was a fan of Damen's show until they killed off his favourite character (who reminded him of Auguste). He's got a detailed list of why it was a terrible, dumb plot point. He won't let Damen hit that unless he publicly 'spoils' that the Prince isn't really dead.

HELLOOOOO I RECENTLY BINGED SWITCH IN LIKE TWO DAYS I AM O B S E S S E D IT SO SOSNO GOOD!!!!? I've read very few fics that capture that transition from suspicion to trust that Laurent has for Damen, much less in Modern AUs, and I was surprised at how seamless it felt!!! So kudos for that!!!!
