Illustration for Nautilus on the migration of Waldrapp ibises. This was for their 3rd issue, In Transit, though it was pulled from their online issue at the last minute. It'll be appearing in a second print run of "In Transit" however, so that's less of a shame. It was great to work with Len Small, and if you haven't checked out Nautilus yet, go do that!
Waldrapp ibises are so ugly ♡
A couple new offerings for you if you're going to TCAF this weekend! @jimmygillustration and I will be at table 308, on the third floor, so come up and see us!

I cannot adequately express how wonderful these gems are. Jimmy's brain is just a gem mine! HAM-MURDER!?? I'm going to retire.
Soooo I think I just drew my next year’s worth of tattoos that I’m getting.

Last preview for now! Gotta leave some surprises for the rest of the book! #cauldronsandcasseroles
This weekend I thought I'd share just a tiny sliver of the books on my wishlist that are all debuting at SPX. All the work that's popping up for this year looks fantastic, and I'm so psyched to be there already.
Magical Beatdown Vol. 1 by Jenn Woodall / Reggie 12 by Brian Ralph / Frontier's second issue featuring work by Hellen Jo / Blobby Boys by Alex Schubert / Picnic Ruined by Roman Muradov / Honey by Celine Loup / Gold Pollen and Other Stories by Seiichi Hayashi / Softcore #1-3 by Box Brown / Snackies #2 by Nick Sumida
Tomorrow I'll share the books my table group mates are debuting! They're ALSO on my wishlist and are soooo good lookin'. Check back then!
Oh look. My big ol face!
CLAW CLAW was kind enough to feature me for their first artist interview of 2014. If you want to find out things like what my all-time favorite color of gouache is, please check it out! Thanks to Shanon Weltman for the opportunity and her thoughtful questions!
Hi! I was looking through your blogspot and I saw your post on your brother getting you Tintin matches from China? I was wondering where he got them because I'm a huge Tintin fan and I live in China and I want to have them too lol. sorry if this was a little creepy
Hi! Yes. these guys:
I had to ask him and then wait around 13 hrs because he's in Taiwan now! Here's what he said:
"It's somewhere in/near Beihai (3rd tone) park in Beijing but I don't remember exactly where. It's down one of the many backstreets and if you see a store that looks like the only product it sells are old coke bottles (seriously, it just had bunch of pictures of old coke bottles in the windows), then you are close."
I don't know what "3rd tone" refers to, but maybe you do! Good luck!
a lil bob-tailed familiar 🐱 #wip
I want to watch the sun set on Mars with you.
A little warm-up piece inspired by NASA's Mars Exploration Rover, Spirit's photos, which are just incredibly moving, right?
Here’s a new piece for the December issue of aiCIO about partnership and the sharing of technology and knowledge. Thanks to AD SooJin Buzelli for letting me wax cyberpunk on this one. Check out the article online here.
While you’re doing that, I’ll just be over here re-reading Neuromancer…
