Hi! If you get this, answer with three random things about yourself and send this to the last seven blogs in your notifications – Anonymously or not! Let’s get to know the person behind the blog!

Three completely random things about me, huh? Okay, let's see...

1. My favourite animals are vultures. They're gorgeous!! I especially like those that are part of the genus Gyps. However, Gypaetus barbatus, the bearded vulture, is even more fascinating. Honestly, you should google that one! Not only does it look really cool, it also has a diet that consists mostly of bone!!

2. When I was 11 and watched Jurassic Park for the first time, I spontaneously decided that I would one day become a palaeontologist. Something about a grumpy guy running through a jungle, protecting children he finds annoying, trying not to get eaten by dinosaurs, somehow really appealed to 11-year-old me. I have to admit though, even today, having learned what palaeontologists actually do most of the time, a part of me is still hung up on that idea.

3. Despite being demiromantic, I recently managed to fall in love romantically with someone breathtakingly amazing!! Seriously, it's been years since the last time I felt any romantic feelings towards any real person. I so wasn't expecting something like this to happen, but somehow it did. And that isn't even the best part!! Because she is such a wonderful and lovely person and I'm absolutely thrilled to be able to call her my girlfriend <3

As the hero made their way into the jail, they could immediately tell all the guards were tense and on edge. They, however, were excited, because today was the day the villain was getting released!

They scanned their pass and made their way in, nodding to the different guards. Soon enough, they opened the door into the villain’s special cell area.

“Good morning!” The hero called happily as they entered, seeing the villain packing their things into a cardboard box.

“Morning,” The villain replied, not glancing up as they put the final item in and closed the box.

“Are you ready to go? The guards said they had been waiting on me,” The hero said, failing to hide the excitement in their voice.

The villain looked up at them, a small smirk creeping on their face as their eyes gleamed for a second, “Someones, excited
” They mused as they stood up.

“Well, obviously! You get out today! Aren’t you excited?!"

The villain gave them a lopsided look, tilting their head, "I’m not sure excited is the correct word, but sure. I’ve a sneaking suspicion you’re more excited to see me get out of here, though, considering you’re standing next to the forcefield switch, yet haven’t touched it,”

The hero sputtered, blushing. “No! That’s not-, well,"

The villain just raised an eyebrow, the corner of their lips curling in cool amusement.

"I’m
interested,” the hero defended, crossing their arms with a huff.

The villain snorted a laugh at that, rolling their eyes fondly, “Very well, stand back,"

The hero did as they were told, taking a step back. They watched the villain intently as the other simply looked around at the bars in front of them.

"S'almost a pitty to destroy a place a called home for so long, but alas,” suddenly the villains lit up, shining and almost glowing un-naturally brightly, “All good things must come to an end,"

With that, they gave one quick, small, swift flick of their wrist, and the ear-piercing sound of metal bending, snapping and breaking echoed off the walls. The hero’s hands flew up to cover their ears as the metallic explosion sound erupted forth. The hero saw the bars of the jail twisting and cracking angrily as the villain watched, completely relaxed, an almost smile ghosting their lips.

They seemed to get bored of torturing the bars quickly, though, and snapped their fingers.

At least, that’s what the hero assumed they did, based on what they saw, but the sound of the snap was drowned out, quickly followed by the visual as the bars exploded. Chunks and shards of metal were thrown everywhere, being thrown back by the forcefield.

The hero yelped, unsure how the villain could be anything but ribbons inside the tornado of metal shrapnel. But soon, the dust faded, and the villain remained, standing in the same spot, completely unaffected or even phased.

The only thing that remained of the metal bars were the occasional jagged spike where they had connected to the roof or ceiling.

"Holy crap,” the hero muttered.

“Now,” the villain continued conversationally as the stepped over what was left of the bars and up the green forcefield, “the easiest way to deal with this, would be to do this,"

They extended their hand toward the switch on the wall, and made an upwards flicking motion. The hero watched as the switch flicked, and the forcefield shut off.

"However, that wouldn’t be nearly as fun as doing this,"

They turned it back on and stepped forward, hovering their flat palm millimetres away from the forcefield, closing their eyes. For a second, nothing happened, until suddenly, the forcefield began shaking. Then, like a bomb going off, a surge of electricity erupted from the villain’s hand and collided with the forcefield, and an explosion went off in the other room. They had blown the generator.

"What
 the
” the hero muttered, completely stunned as they looked around the room.

The villain turned around and went to pick up their box, before making their way over to the hero, holding it in their arms. Their face wore a very self-satisfied smirk, assumedly from the look on the hero’s face as they approached.

“It was also very stupid to put me on the ground floor,” the villain mused as they stood next to the hero, turning towards the outer wall.

“Why?"

"Considering this,"

They gestured at the wall, and just like that, a huge circle of concrete and steel wall tore out, getting thrown forward until it crashed down, skidding across the grass in front of the prison and nearly taking a guard out in the process.

"Are you coming?” The villain teased. The hero shook their head, realizing they had been frozen, just staring while the villain had walked all the way out onto the grass. They ran to catch up to them.

“What- I- HOLY CRAP!” they yelped, throwing their hands into the air, “What the hell was all that!? How did nobody know!?! What-” they shook their head, trying to clear their thoughts, “I still don’t understand, what is your power? There’s no way that’s just plain telekinesis!"

The villain chuckled, "Not quite, but, what fun would it be if I just tell you?” they asked as they came to a stop next to the road, turning to face the hero, “Wouldn’t it be much more fun for you to try and figure it out?"

"What!?” The hero erupted, “You’re not gunna tell me!?"

The villain let out a startled, amused and almost happy laugh. The hero looked so disappointed and almost betrayed.

"I’ll give you a hint,” the villain said, a sly, amused smirk on their face, “I don’t just have one power; I have two. And they are a very deadly combination,"

Just then, a black limo pulled up beside them, and the trunk popped open. The villain made their way around, putting the box into the trunk as the hero stood frozen, brain struggling to catch up.

"Here,” the villain said as they walked back over to the hero, handing them a folded up page from their sketchbook.

“What’s this?"

"My number doofus,” the villain replied in a joking, yet fond tone, “I did promise we could stay in contact.

"Oh, right, of course!” the hero replied, taking the paper in their hand as the villain opened the limo door.

“See you later,” the villain said before slipping into the vehicle. The hero could only wave as the limo drove off, still processing everything that just happened.

They opened the paper in their hand, and nearly dropped it in surprise. There, on the page, was a phone number, just like the villain had said. They never mentioned the perfect drawing of the hero when they were playing battleship right above it!

The hero felt themselves blush as they pulled out their phone, adding the contact ‘Villain <3’ to it. When they got home, they put the drawing up on their fridge.

I am going to cry, this is so sweet đŸ„șđŸ«‚

right back at you my friend!! thank you for reading my stuff, even if you don't really follow the fandom - I appreciate that so so much <333

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who don’t or can’t write the 50k fan-fictions, because of a lack of focus or motivation, or mental illness.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who don’t or can’t write smut, but are still lumped into a group that is almost expected to write smut.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who can’t update chapters frequently for maybe a multitude of reasons, and get messages daily from people asking for “their” new chapter.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who aren’t big name fans and hardly get ten kudos or one comment on their fan-fictions.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who stay up all night editing and rewriting and don’t get much attention on their work no matter how much they feel like they promote their writing.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who don’t write a lot and are constantly asked to write more but can’t for whatever valid reason they have.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who have the courage to post their writing online and only have it publicly made fun of for grammar or poor characterization.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers for writing their fan-fiction, posting it online, and continuing to do it no matter how much or little attention they get, and constantly improving as a writer with every upload.

You all rock.

casually caring for someone - a prompt list

this can be for anyone - your crush, s/o, close friends. i hope you'll have fun with this!

A messaging B to wear layers first thing in the morning because they know that B never checks their weather forecast (and A obsessively checks it every day).

A and B have a study session together where B is already done with most of their work, but A is still looking all focused at their laptop, so B just pretends like they have more work to do while keeping an eye on A, in case A needs anything to be more comfortable.

Knowing that the other prefers hot/cold water and making sure to fill that in another bottle and giving it to them while you fill your own bottle.

You're having a picnic with your friends and you're in charge of buying the drinks, so you're at a grocery shop, scanning the aisles and you find a bottle of so-so that you know A really likes, so you pick it up for them, along with other general drinks for everyone else.

A and B go out to eat with their friends, and when they are leaving the restaurant, B forgets their jacket—deep in conversation with another friend. A picks it up for them, just as B turns back, searching for their jacket. "here you go" "thank you so much! i was just going to go and look for it"

A eats slowly and B knows that but they don't mind at all. B just finishes eating first and engages A by talking to them about something until A finishes eating their food.

B is scared of dogs so the moment they see a dog approaching them, they pull A in front of them like a shield. A just lets B do whatever they want because they're too busy cooing at the dog.

A invites B out to spend the day together because they've been a little worried about them recently. B hesitantly agrees, and by the end of the day, B ends up having so much fun that they both end up going home pretty late.

B is waiting for the bus to arrive so texts A in the mean time so as not to feel bored. "this street lamp looks so yellow!" A genuinely enjoys their randomness, so they of course indulge in it. "oh yeah? what kind of yellow?"

A knowing that B has a very low tolerance to the cold and asking them to go inside and not to wait with them for the bus to arrive. "please go in! you're going to catch a cold!" "it's okay, the app says it's just a few more minutes away."

(this is my first time trying to write prompts like these so i hope they're good! please tag me if you decide to use them :) )

THEY ARE SO PRECIOUS 💖

me, hoarding a ton of valentine’s meme cards, rubbing my hands together with an evil laugh like a cartoon villain: i’m gonna make these bitches feel so LOVED they won’t even see it coming

Definitely a trope I haven't read before and I'm loving it:)

Hi! Just started reading your stuff! I love a bunch of it! Could you pretty please maybe do something with Villain kidnapping the Hero's sidekick then calling Child Protective Services when they realize how traumatized their hostage is from the Hero's own "training?"

Villain hauled the small, quivering form out of the car trunk, dragging Hero’s sidekick into their headquarters.

“Quit struggling,” they snarled. Sidekick didn’t stop, but Villain expected it.

“I’m not going to talk,” Sidekick spat. “You can’t make me. Whatever you do, you can’t make me talk.”

Villain shoved them into a chair, chaining their wrists and ankles. “Oh, I think you will.”

They thrashed, but stilled the moment Villain placed a hand on their shoulder.

“Anything you do,” Sidekick whispered, “I’ve gone through worse. There’s nothing you can do to me that I’m afraid of.”

That made Villain pause, but they turned to the back table, rummaging through their bottles for a vaccine they could threaten Sidekick with as a “truth serum”. Maybe they’d call it a painful illness, some fatal disease.

Torturing kids wasn’t their business. They’d settle for some harmless intimidation. A quiet threat. And dumped on Hero’s doorstep later without a scratch on them.

“Well now,” Villain said, “how often do you get kidnapped? I thought I was the biggest bad in town, but it seems someone else is occupying your time.”

“As if,” Sidekick scoffed, “I don’t get caught by people.”

“Except me.”

“...Except you.”

Villain turned, a needle in their hands. They walked over to Sidekick, not missing the way they shuddered and steeled their expression. “If I’m the only one who’s had you,” they murmured, “then what makes you think you’re prepared for me?”

Sidekick stiffened, eyes going wide. They swallowed hard.

Bingo.

“I think you’ll find it’s not smart to lie to me,” Villain said. “And you should avoid it in future.”

Sidekick’s head jerked up. “I didn’t lie! I’m prepared! Pain doesn’t scare me! I can break out of a coffin and dig myself out of a grave, I can withstand burning, waterboarding, knives, acid- you don’t scare me.” Their fists were clenched, shaking. “You don’t scare me.”

Now that didn’t make any sense. “Then I’m sure we can get along,” Villain said. “I won’t need to do a thing to you so long as you start talking.”

The teenager in the chair set their jaw, staring ahead resolutely. “I’m prepared for anything.”

That word again
prepared. It didn’t make any sense.

Villain cut the shoulder off Sidekick’s shirt. They didn’t need anything getting in the way of the injection, if it were to go that far.

Then they saw the scars.

Rows and rows of circles, all burned deep into Sidekick’s arm. They were all the same faded shade, occasionally disrupted by another scar criss-crossing them.

“What
” their stomach turned. “What the hell is this?”

Sidekick glared at them. “What do you think?” they spat. “You don’t scare me.”

Villain stared at their arm, abandoning the needle to the side. “How many more are there? How- who- this wasn’t me. I don’t do this, I would never do this to a kid.”

“What’s it to you?”

“Who. Was. It.”

“Why do you care?”

“Tell me. Now.” Villain took hold of their chin. “Or I’ll make you, and I don’t think you’re prepared for a truth serum.”

Sidekick hesitated, and shook their head slightly. “H-Hero wants me to be prepared.”

Oh god. Hero did this. To a child.

“Okay,” Villain said, taking a deep breath. “Okay. Are you comfortable?”

“What, are you suddenly concerned with how your prisoner is doing?” Sidekick’s voice caught..

“I need to make a few calls. It might be a while, so get comfortable.” Villain check their restraints again, gaze lingering on Sidekick’s arm for a few seconds too long. “You’re not going back to Hero.”

Sidekick sat, thoroughly befuddled by the sudden fiery protectiveness in Villain’s eyes.

Omg this is beautiful

This is a take on the supervillain handing hero’s sidekick over to regular villain. It’s a trope somewhere, I’m sure.

The villain clenched their jaw. Hero’s sidekick was a teenage girl for God’s sake. A teenage girl in the hands of the supervillain... the villain stomach jolted, they couldn’t let that happen.

“Hand her over.” The words were barely out of the villain’s mouth when the supervillain smirked. Villain’s own sidekick tensed up behind them, but the villain gave them a subtle placating gesture. If they could get out of this without a fight they would.

The supervillain noticed the interaction and merely grinned. “And what do I get in return? The girl here can give me information on her boss, her perfect little hero.” He mocked. “Might take a few days under the ringer but I’m sure she’ll talk.”

The girl’s eyes widened in fear. The villain could tell she was trying to steel herself, even shackled at the mercy of the supervillain. For all she knew she was surrounded by enemies on all sides, debating her fate, too far away from the hero for any magical rescues.

The villain opened their mouth again, an idea coming together. “Girl,” they snapped. “Have you been to your boss’s private apartments? Do you know the inner workings of the hero’s most secret base?”

As the villain spoke, they prayed, deny it deny it deny it. Say no. Say no.

“I don’t-“ the girl shook her head. “I didn’t know of any quarters, I’ve never been there-”

“Clearly the girl’s new,” the villain let contempt drip from their tongue, willing the supervillain to buy the uninterested facade. “You’re not going to get anything out of her besides leverage you don’t even need right now. I, on the other hand, can give you all the information you need.”

“Is that so?” The supervillain raised an eyebrow.

The villain merely shrugged, allowing a smile to play on their lips. “It’s intimacy of having a nemesis I suppose. In fact, I have it all on this flashdrive.” The villain produced one out of their pocket unceremoniously. Carrying empty flash drives was part of the territory when you were a tech- oriented villain.

The supervillain snorted. “Convenient that you carry around a flashdrive with your nemesis’s information on it? Do you really expect me to believe that?”

The villain smiled and cupped the drive in their hand. With a flash of light, all the information the villain knew of the hero’s private base was uploaded onto the little thing. “Call it a superpower... information generation and distribution is my superpower actually, though I’m sure you knew that already.”

The villain glanced to the girl, who, they realized with a jolt, was glaring daggers at them. “Surprised I’d rat out your hero so quickly?” The villain quipped sarcastically. “I want the hero gone as much as supervillain over here. I want you for my own reasons.”

The girl’s glare faltered, replaced with fear. The more the villain talked, the more their stomach sank at the disgusting facade they were putting up. But the supervillain had to buy it or else this girl was in grave danger. Hero would forgive the villain for outing their hideout if it was to keep their sidekick safe... the supervillain just needed to agree to the deal, dammit.

“Do we have a deal?” The villain stepped closer, twirling the flashdrive in their hands absentmindedly. Their heart pounded in their ears. “The girl does nothing for you, this drive on the other hand... this would be a significant blow to our resident righteous hero.”

“How do I know you’re not lying?”

The villain leveled their steely gaze, one that made lesser enemies run. “You have my word. You of all people know the importance of keeping your word.”

An unspoken agreement passed between the villain and the supervillain. Neither hero’s sidekick nor villain’s sidekick dared to breathe.

The villain barely dared to breathe after supervillain muttered, “deal.”

The villain merely turned to strut away, nodding to their sidekick. “Grab her.”

In a flash the drive was in supervillain’s hands and the villain’s sidekick used their magnetism to pull the girl’s chains into their arms.

“Pleasure doing business,” the villain called over their shoulder. Before the supervillain could reply, the villain and the teenage sidekicks teleported away.

By the time they landed back in the villain’s lair, the villain was off running. They only faltered for a moment at the sound of the girl’s voice.

“What are you going to do to me?”

The villain turned to see their their sidekick had already released the girl from her chains. “At the moment, nothing. We’re not going to hurt you. But I just royally screwed your hero over. They have about 5 minutes before supervillain destroys their base.” The villain’s heart beat in their throat. “I need to warn them.”

The villain was off to the communications department, leaving the girl and the villain’s own sidekick in the dust.

Hero sat on the side of the building, their feet dangling off the edge. They liked the feeling of it, liked playing with their own mortality. Maybe that was why they were so good at their job.

They leaned closer to the edge, peering over at the street. Cars crawled like ants trapped in the mid afternoon traffic.

"If not for your own peace of mind, then for mine, please get away from the edge."

Hero didn't need to look to know Villain. "Surely you should be pushing me off it."

"Hero, stop it."

Hero sighed and got to their feet, turning to face Villain. "Why? Does this make you... uneasy?" They rocked backwards on their heels.

"Hero, stop-"

Hero could tell exactly when Villain had had enough. But that wasn't too hard, because they darted forwards like a lightning bolt and pulled Hero into them with a strong hand around their wrist.

Hero felt like their breath had been stolen in that single touch. "Sorry," they said, soft and breathless.

Villain rolled their eyes. "You better not do that again, you hear me? If you die, I better be the one who kills you."

Hero brushed a stray lock of hair from their cheekbone, and Villain's gaze softened. They pressed their forehead against Hero's. "Promise me, okay?"

Hero rolled their eyes. "Fine. I pinky promise you get to murder me."

"Good." Villain replied, and then they kissed them - so softly Hero felt it might be a dream. They leaned into their touch, as if they could merge and become one if only Hero put enough force into it.

Maybe this was a better thrill than standing on the edge of buildings.
