Omg this is beautiful
This is a take on the supervillain handing hero’s sidekick over to regular villain. It’s a trope somewhere, I’m sure.
The villain clenched their jaw. Hero’s sidekick was a teenage girl for God’s sake. A teenage girl in the hands of the supervillain... the villain stomach jolted, they couldn’t let that happen.
“Hand her over.” The words were barely out of the villain’s mouth when the supervillain smirked. Villain’s own sidekick tensed up behind them, but the villain gave them a subtle placating gesture. If they could get out of this without a fight they would.
The supervillain noticed the interaction and merely grinned. “And what do I get in return? The girl here can give me information on her boss, her perfect little hero.” He mocked. “Might take a few days under the ringer but I’m sure she’ll talk.”
The girl’s eyes widened in fear. The villain could tell she was trying to steel herself, even shackled at the mercy of the supervillain. For all she knew she was surrounded by enemies on all sides, debating her fate, too far away from the hero for any magical rescues.
The villain opened their mouth again, an idea coming together. “Girl,” they snapped. “Have you been to your boss’s private apartments? Do you know the inner workings of the hero’s most secret base?”
As the villain spoke, they prayed, deny it deny it deny it. Say no. Say no.
“I don’t-“ the girl shook her head. “I didn’t know of any quarters, I’ve never been there-”
“Clearly the girl’s new,” the villain let contempt drip from their tongue, willing the supervillain to buy the uninterested facade. “You’re not going to get anything out of her besides leverage you don’t even need right now. I, on the other hand, can give you all the information you need.”
“Is that so?” The supervillain raised an eyebrow.
The villain merely shrugged, allowing a smile to play on their lips. “It’s intimacy of having a nemesis I suppose. In fact, I have it all on this flashdrive.” The villain produced one out of their pocket unceremoniously. Carrying empty flash drives was part of the territory when you were a tech- oriented villain.
The supervillain snorted. “Convenient that you carry around a flashdrive with your nemesis’s information on it? Do you really expect me to believe that?”
The villain smiled and cupped the drive in their hand. With a flash of light, all the information the villain knew of the hero’s private base was uploaded onto the little thing. “Call it a superpower... information generation and distribution is my superpower actually, though I’m sure you knew that already.”
The villain glanced to the girl, who, they realized with a jolt, was glaring daggers at them. “Surprised I’d rat out your hero so quickly?” The villain quipped sarcastically. “I want the hero gone as much as supervillain over here. I want you for my own reasons.”
The girl’s glare faltered, replaced with fear. The more the villain talked, the more their stomach sank at the disgusting facade they were putting up. But the supervillain had to buy it or else this girl was in grave danger. Hero would forgive the villain for outing their hideout if it was to keep their sidekick safe... the supervillain just needed to agree to the deal, dammit.
“Do we have a deal?” The villain stepped closer, twirling the flashdrive in their hands absentmindedly. Their heart pounded in their ears. “The girl does nothing for you, this drive on the other hand... this would be a significant blow to our resident righteous hero.”
“How do I know you’re not lying?”
The villain leveled their steely gaze, one that made lesser enemies run. “You have my word. You of all people know the importance of keeping your word.”
An unspoken agreement passed between the villain and the supervillain. Neither hero’s sidekick nor villain’s sidekick dared to breathe.
The villain barely dared to breathe after supervillain muttered, “deal.”
The villain merely turned to strut away, nodding to their sidekick. “Grab her.”
In a flash the drive was in supervillain’s hands and the villain’s sidekick used their magnetism to pull the girl’s chains into their arms.
“Pleasure doing business,” the villain called over their shoulder. Before the supervillain could reply, the villain and the teenage sidekicks teleported away.
By the time they landed back in the villain’s lair, the villain was off running. They only faltered for a moment at the sound of the girl’s voice.
“What are you going to do to me?”
The villain turned to see their their sidekick had already released the girl from her chains. “At the moment, nothing. We’re not going to hurt you. But I just royally screwed your hero over. They have about 5 minutes before supervillain destroys their base.” The villain’s heart beat in their throat. “I need to warn them.”
The villain was off to the communications department, leaving the girl and the villain’s own sidekick in the dust.
again, this can be used for anyone - close friends, s/o, crushes. please feel free to change pronouns as you see fit :)
A and B are benchmates, and by the end of the lecture, they've managed to become more than strangers, and people with common interests. They exchange numbers - "can I have your full name?" "sure, but why?" "I just like to store the full names of people's contacts that I'm going to save."
A has never eaten out with their new friend before, so they're pretty nervous because they eat differently? compared to the locals. "i'm sorry, but can I eat with my hands? I just feel more comfortable doing it." B just smiles kindly at A, and A immediately feels at home, despite being miles away from it. "of course you can, please be comfortable!"
A introduces their cuisine to B and B absolutely loves it. "I can't believe I've never had this before!" "do you like it?" " of course! this is easily one of the best meals I've had in my life". Then they both grin at each other and continue to spend the upcoming hours in the restaurant, smiling, chatting away and having a jolly time. (the restaurant people are nice because they don't get kicked out xD)
A teaches B how to eat food from their cuisine and B follows obediently. A is so impressed by B's efforts, just looks at B with a fond smile while B is busy trying to eat the food correctly. "am I doing this right? can I eat this with both hands?"
B invites A over to their place for Halloween and A is so pleasantly surprised, that they can't believe it. "You're inviting me over? really?" "of course! I'd love to have you over if you'd like to come!" A later gets to know that B themselves was a transfer student who went to another country to study, so they can understand the feelings of an international student. A was just so touched and couldn't stop smiling.
It's A's first Halloween and B watches them smile and get excited about everything with a fond look on their face. A turns to them, almost shy, "um, i- I didn't really bring any Halloween clothes," and B has to try really hard to hold in their laugh because A was just being really cute right now. "I can help with that," - B finds a pair of cute purple socks and a headband for A to wear and A's excitement lights up B's entire evening.
"so, do you invite people often?" you seem to be a really good host." B, surprised, "ah, thank you for saying that, but actually, no, I don't." A smiles at the answer and they continue watching the movie playing on the tv, a comfortable distance between them, feeling warm despite the cold winds outside.
B watches A order their usual and smiles at them, "hot chocolate as usual?". A nods, happy with their favourite drink in hand. "What are you getting?" B points to their plate, "oh, just a plate of strawberry cheesecake, I really like these." A makes a mental note of it.
At the cafe again, weeks later, after class, "one hot chocolate and one strawberry cheesecake please!" B just stares at A, dumbfounded, "you remember!" "of course I do!"
"do you want to talk? I don't want to go home just yet." A and B walk over to a bench on their campus and proceed to talk into the evening until A had to catch a bus back home.
A spots a duck upside down in a pond and immediately texts B (who's absent that day) - "uhh, a duck is upside down and I'm worried about it." A doesn't know but B was wheezing while texting back, " that's normal don't worry, it's just feeding." A lets out a breath of relief, "thank goodness! I haven't seen a lot of ducks in my hometown." "I can tell."
A and B compare their hand sizes, after which B holds A's (much smaller) hand. "your hands are so small, no wonder you get cold easily!" A just smiles happily and holds B's hand tighter.
A and B spend the whole day together and then can't stop thinking about it after. "is it weird that I'm grinning, still thinking about how fun today was?" "no, because I'm still thinking about it too."
God they're so cute <3
You guys really love this one, so here you go! Pt 9 is on it’s way! *accidentally had this one named part 7 at first* Find previous parts here
If Rhys had been asked whether or not he was scared of Silver, he would have said no. Of course not. How could he be afraid of someone he just had tea with? Someone he just told his real name to?
That was before they arrived at the Grandwell warehouse. None of Silver’s men were going in with them, just the villain and the hero, because Silver said he didn’t want any of his men getting hurt.
Rhys had seen silver in action before, or so he thought. But apparently, he’d never really seen him in action, because wow, was it something else. It was terrifying, awe-inspiring, overwhelming, intimidating, scary, intoxicating and overall just breathtaking. It was like a fish in water, where the hero could see just how in his environment Silver was while fighting. His movements were so fluid, effortless. He barely even got hit; he was so good at dodging, blocking.
Admittedly, they had snuck in, taking out guards one by one at first. Silver had promised Rhys that were possible, he would knock them out instead of killing them, but that he wasn’t going to be getting thrown off his game or distracted because of it. Friendship is about compromise, the hero supposed.
Up until they got into the main warehouse, Silver actually hadn’t killed a single person, being able to sneak up behind them and either choke them or knock them out.
Rhys felt pretty glad he was on this side of the fighting for a change.
Once they entered the warehouse, it was very open. They split up, able to take out a few guards from weaving in between boxes, but eventually, they were noticed, and the full out brawl ensued.
That’s when the blood really started.
Now the hero wasn’t a perfect saint either; as much as he tried to be, he’d had to kill a few guards or criminals before, but it was always in self-defence. He had a rule in place for himself that he would always offer his opponent the option to surrender first if he felt they weren’t going to go down with a real fight. Even then, he always tried to only leave non-fatal wounds, but every person was different, and what didn’t kill one person might not always be survivable for the next.
Honestly, if someone asked Rhys whether he was scared of Silver now, the answer still probably would have been no, but it would have at least been a more hesitant no.
His thoughts were cut off when he was thrown to the ground by a criminal he hadn’t seen. They wrestled around, Rhys managing to get out of the other’s grip for a moment, only to be pushing back into a wall, fighting to hold the criminal’s knife back from stabbing into him.
The hero didn’t see the villain behind the other until the tip of a knife emerged on the other side of the criminal’s throat.
“You good?” Silver asked, pulling his knife back and pushing the criminal to the ground.
“Yeah,” The hero panted, catching his breath, “Thanks, though, you could have knocked him out,”
“Sorry, I wasn’t thinking about it when I saw you in trouble,” the villain shrugged. He wasn’t even very out of breath!
What got Rhys the most was that he also didn’t even use his powers!
The hero was 80% sure he had worked out the villain’s first power was metal-kenisis, and this place was full of metal objects! But Silver managed just fine, not needing to tap into them even once.
“Is that all of them?” Rhys asked, looking around.
“All but the Grandwells themselves, whom I assume heard the gunshots and have turned tail, but it’s worth checking anyway,”
“Where are they?”
“Most likely the top floor,” he replied as they walked over the elevator.
“Yeah, but we don’t have the passcode, do we?”
The villain raised an eyebrow, “Have you seriously not put together what my powers are yet?”
“It’s metal ken- oh,”
Silver chuckled, and with of wave of his hand, the elevator doors opened. Once they were in, he made an upwards motion, and Rhys could feel the elevator going up.
Once they were at the top, they stepped out, looking around the area.
“Tell me,” Silver said as they walked down the hallway, “If we spare them, which I’m admittingly not inclined to do, but if we do, will the police immediately investigate to clean up all their illegal activity?
"That depends; I now realize that I don’t really know what I’m going to do because I didn’t bring nearly enough handcuffs, and the guys downstairs will be awake before the police get to this side of town,”
“Don’t worry about it, I’ll have my men deal with it, but that answers my question anyway,”
When the two large doors at the end of the hall opened, the Grandwell twins were nowhere to be seen, but the emergency exit door was still open, sign above it blinking.
“Cowards,” the villain muttered, “They are probably long gone by now. Sacrificed the lives of their men to stall us long enough to escape. Unbelievable.”
“I-” Rhys paused, unsure how to respond, “No offence but isn’t that what, well ya'know, villains tend to do?”
Luckily Silver didn’t seem offended; he simply shrugged, “Most of them, yes probably. But not me; most of my men and women have family to feed. I’m not about to make any children lose their parents if I can help it. I may be a villain, but I have standards. You might notice I also always try to thank my men because using fear to scare your followers into loyalty isn’t even close to as valuable as truly earning it. I don’t expect them to be loyal to me if I treat them poorly. I may not care about them on a personal level, but working out of fear instead of free will makes for terrible work ethic among more instances of betrayal, etcetera,”
“Wow, I never thought about it like that, but, yeah that’s really smart. I’m sure your employees appreciate it,”
Rhys watched as Silver dug through the various different drawers of the main desks, rooting through the papers and other things.
“Now what?” the hero asked.
“Well, now that it’s safe, I’ll send my men in. They will round up all the survivors for you, and if you can guarantee them safety, I’ll even have them deliver them to the police station for you. They will comb through the rest of this place and take anything valuable, as well as gather all the information they can. We will still have to track down the Grandwells after all,”
“Wow, yeah, that would be perfect,”
Before the villain could reply, Rhys phone went off.
“Hello?” the hero answered, and suddenly his eyes widened, “Oh crap, yeah, I’ll be right there,”
“what’s wrong?”
“Thistle and some of her men are trying to rob the bank on main street. I’m going to have to run,”
“Hold on. Let me pass the go along to my men first, and then I can tag along with you to help,”
Rhy’s eyes widened in shock, mouth ajar slightly, “did-, are you offering to help fight crime?” he asked in disbelief.
Silver smirked that knowing, charming, yet mischievous smirk, “I consider taking out one of my competitors a very villainous thing to do,”
Rhys laughed, pulling out his phone again, “Alright, you make your call. I’ll call the station to let them know not to arrest your men when they drop off these criminals and that your tagging along to make sure they don’t try and shoot you or something,”
“Sounds like a plan to me, my friend,” the villain replied, dialling something on their phone. The ‘my friend’ comment made the hero stop for a second, heart-swelling in his chest. Even if it had been said as almost a joke, not as earnestly as the hero was taking it, it still meant a lot.
This was turning out much better than the Rhys would have ever imagined.

Hello! Im sorry for the late reply, but as alwsys thank you and here's a 🌸 for you :)
Okay, I've been staring at this for five minutes already and I still can't believe that I was tagged alongside all of these wonderful people and beyond amazing writers. WHAT SORCERY IS THIS?! 🥺❤
The older villain placed a comforting arm around their mentee. “There, there, it does get better.”
“I thought villains got all the heroes, but no one has responded to my flirting!” Tears rose in the younger villain’s eyes. “They just keep arresting me. Whatever happened to the irresistible attraction of the outlaw?”
“Want some advice?” The older villain looked around furtively before dropping their voice to a whisper. “Tilt your head and call them ‘darling.’”
“What-”
“Trust me on this.”
*hugs back*
thank you for the hug <3
Angst inspo 💔
“Hero?”
Their head shot upwards at the sound of their name, a sob racking through their body upon seeing a familiar face. Villain frowned in concern, and instantly knelt down beside them. “What are you doing over here?”
Hero instinctively flinched as Villain tried reaching for them, noting how dirty and bruised they seemed. How long had they been out here? They were filthy. And still bleeding.
“I-I don’t…” They sucked in a tremulous breath. “I can’t…”
Villain brushed a lock of tangled hair out of their face, pulling them into a warm embrace. “Breathe, my dear, breathe.”
“The mission,” Hero sobbed, their hands clawing at their frame in desperation, making Villain’s jaw clench. “I-It all...went so wrong…”
Soft soft soft-
hi! I love your work! I'm not sure if this is where I can request stuff, but would you be willing to write a scene of a teen villain (who had always thought the hero was well cared for and worshipped at home) finding out the teen hero is being abused? and something inside them just snaps and they confront hero about it, wanting to help them? if not that's okay haha. hope you're having a good day!
The fight between Hero and Villain started off just as any old fight.
Villain smiled triumphantly as their fist connected with Hero’s jaw, sending them sprawling into the brick wall behind them.
“C’mon now,” Villain said, thrusting a hand out and catching Hero’s throat, pinning them down as they squeezed. “Surely the wonderfully cared for and worshipped Hero can’t be losing to me after a ten minute battle. Are mommy and daddy spoiling you with luxurious food and making you sluggish?”
Hero glared at them, clawing weakly at their hold. “Shut up,” they choked out.
Villain snorted, dangling them for a moment more before dropping them and kicking them hard in the stomach. “Are you getting all the love you ever wanted? Is everyone in the household happy that you’re saving the world over and over and over again?” They slammed their boot into their side. “You’ve gotten cocky, Hero.”
They waited for Hero to get up, to spit nasty retorts in their face, to pounce on them and prove them wrong.
But Hero didn’t even look up.
“What, feeling a little blue?” Villain sneered. “You—,”
“Stop.” Hero’s voice was quiet, low.
Villain barked a laugh. “Stop? If you want me to stop, you have to actually beat me, Hero.”
Hero winced. Actually winced. “Please,” they rasped. “Please stop. Please.”
Villain blinked, reached down to grab the back of Hero’s shirt and yank them up, noticed how when their fingers brushed their skin they flinched back with a sharp inhale.
“What happened to you?” Villain snarked, pulling their hand back. “This better not be a fucking trap or something.”
Hero shifted uncomfortably, and Villain saw the tips of thick, red lines poking out from the top of their shirt.
What the hell?
“Take off your shirt.”
“W-what?”
“Take it off.”
Hero hesitated, then pulled the tattered fabric over their head to reveal angry whip marks etched across their back, some of them reopened no doubt from their fight. Their ribs were clearly visible through their skin, and Villain now noticed just how pale they were.
“Who did it?”
“Like you care.”
When Villain didn’t say anything, Hero sighed, clenching their fists. “...My dad. But I’m fine,” they added.
Villain couldn’t hide their surprise. “No, no you’re not. You look like shit.” Hero opened their mouth to retort, but Villain cut them off. “You’re coming with me.”
“Hell no. You don’t give a fuck about me,” Hero spat harshly. “All you ever talk about is the fact that I have the most perfect life ever and—,”
Villain grabbed their arm and yanked them up with a little too much force, eliciting a yelp of pain.
“I don’t know what you want to hear from me, but I’m still taking you with me, whether you like it or not. I’m not letting you go back to your house.”
“Y-you can’t just do that!” Hero struggled, but eventually tapered off as the injuries on their back got the best of them.
“I can. And I will.” Villain hoisted them into a bridal carry, careful not the rouse their whip wounds. “Just rest. You can be all angry and shit later.”
Hero glowered at them for as long as they were awake, which wasn’t more than five minutes, but Villain still found it amusing.
“I’m sorry,” Villain whispered in Hero’s ear before they finally drifted off.

trigger warnings: mentions of homophobia, bruising & being kicked out
She ran.
The hero was dizzy from being thrown to the ground, her world turned upside down; how could she have made such a grievous mistake? Her wrist still had handprint marks on it and the hero had no doubt there’d be a bruise.
She ran farther, shouts and taunts still echoing down the road from her childhood home, with its grey exterior and gabled roof and blue walls and soft carpet at the top of the stairs, window shutters the old-fashioned wooden ones that shifted up and down when you wanted sunlight to stream into the room, from the place that she had grown up in with the glow-in-the-dark stars taped to her bedroom ceiling and the moon nightlight always on in hallway.
She ran away from the home that was now just a house; just another building on the street, because her father had made it clear—incredibly, overwhelmingly, angrily clear—that she would never be welcomed back there again.
Some father he was.
She ran until her legs gave out and her lungs fought for air and the feeling was almost comfortable, the same as when she fought, blades whirling, with the villain. The thought almost made her laugh. She could fight to the death with the villain, who had the sunniest appearance of anyone that the hero had ever seen until she opened her mouth, but couldn’t handle her homophobic household.
The moon and stars were gone as she tilted her head up. Rain began to pour down, a symphony of gentle noise as it pattered away at the gutters and streets.
The hero wandered.
The city was different, in the nighttime; crisper, colder. She meandered down different streets, beginning to get drenched, but she couldn’t quite find it in her to care. Few others were out at this hour; a man in a trenchcoat here, a drunk stumbling home there. The hero kept her head down.
She did it a little too well, in fact, as she ran smack-dab into someone in a raincoat and holding an umbrella. She stumbled back; the other person grabbed her wrist, which was beginning to bruise. The hero wrenched it back with a gasp, but not so much with pain as surprise, because the person’s hood had fallen off, and suddenly the hero wasn’t looking at a stranger but at someone she knew very well.
The villain.
