How to emotionally regulate yourself
so. You find yourself getting upset or angry or guilty over something. Negative emotions don’t feel the most comfortable, do they? They feel almost physically uncomfortable, sometimes painful. You wish you could block them out immediately but it’s impossible. Even if you try to ignore them, they somehow bounce back in your face.
what we’re not taught from a young age is emotion regulation. We are, in the end, only human. Its part of our nature to screw up, make mistakes and do things at times that we’re not supposed to.
bottling away feelings does no good - not to yourself and not to those who care about you.
so the next time you find yourself feeling emotionally imbalanced, take a look at this framework and work it out!

hi angels! this winter i want to perfect my morning routine. i struggle alot with sleep and energy levels, especially during the first few weeks of winter so this guide is a perfect way for me to ensure i have enough energy to get on with a busy and full day and achieve all my goals! while i cant do all of this every day what i try to do is pick a few things to prioritise daily. i hope you enjoy this and find some good routine inspo! especially if you struggle a bit with slumps during the colder months. enjoy.
wake up at 6:30 - 70:00.
open curtains and window (if not raining), let air circulate.
do a quick five or ten minute yoga/stretch routine while you watch the sunrise.
make bed (studies suggest its better to let your bed freshen with the sheets unmade first thing to stop the growth of certain bacteria etc).
dress.
clean teeth and floss.
drink glass of lemon water and salt (for natural electrolytes).
start packing lunch or snacks needed for the day.
make a cup of tea (my favourites are chai, green tea or matcha).
make breakfast (my go tos at the moment are turkey bacon and scrambled eggs, sautéed apple and yogurt or a porridge/oatmeal bowl).
clean teeth and mouthwash.
do am skincare.
style hair and jewellery.
make sure bag is fully packed.
journal for a few minutes and plan day.
read or listen to a podcast.
ensure all school work is up together/everything prepared for work.
fill up water bottle for the day.
set up room for when home, leave a cute lamp on, make sure your desk is tidy, lay out evening clothes etc.
put on motivational/winter playlist!
wake up at 8 - 8:30.
open curtains and window.
ten minute yoga/stretch routine.
tidy room and make bed.
get dressed in workout clothes.
do a five minute oil pull then clean teeth.
drink glass of lemon water with salt.
make breakfast and a tea (i normally put mine in a travel mug).
fill up water bottle.
clean teeth and am skincare.
if weather nice go on a little morning walk (half an hour to forty minutes).
journal and light a candle, plan day.
workout (i aim to workout for an hour to an hour and a half on weekends).
have a shower.
body lotions/moisturiser.
file nails.
start any work/projects needed, aim to get all finished by end of morning.
during breaks read or listen to podcast.
start weekend clean of room, change bedsheets, clean surfaces etc.
spend time with family or friends!
i want my winter mornings to be slow and mindful, focused on caring for my body and mind and doing what i can to make this time of the year easier and gentle on every part of me! there are lots of complexities within these routines so consider this a fairly basic, un-detailed guide. i might try to make a guide for any changes i make during the winter/as it gets colder if that would interest you angels? thank you for reading and have a great start to winter!
love, m.
remember: going out for a walk on your neighborhood and getting a warm beverage and a buttery pastry can change your sour mood ☕

Checklist for going into 2025
Before stepping into the new year, there are things we should reflect on and do in order to have a fresh start for the new year.
Set your goals and then set miniature gaols for each to make sure you will achieve them
Journal or diary for the new year
Make sure your space is clean, change your bedsheets and dust your room
Write down your achievements and what else you plan on doing
Make a vision board! Do it on Pinterest if you don’t want to print it out
Create affirmations
Clean out your phone
Think those thoughts that were always pushed into the back of your head
Create an alter ego and achieve to be like them
Figure yourself out
Try out a new style of clothing or makeup!
Figure out what your leaving behind in 2024 and what your bringing into 2025
"match my freak!" match my sweetness. match my benevolence. match my empathy. match my ability to feel emotions so deeply it tears me apart from the inside out
rebellion isn’t what you think it is
How to feel more feminine 🎀🩰🫶🏼
For the longest time I’ve been trying to find ways to feel and look more feminine and I’ve found some things that really helped me achieve this so here are my tips. I want to remind y’all that you DO NOT have to be feminine. This is what I personally want to give off but please never feel pressured to be more feminine this is for anyone of any gender and sexuality to feel more feminine ONLY if that is what they want. I love u and u are beautiful regardless.
Doing my nails
Going to bed in cute clothes
Keeping my room clean
Candles
Wearing one necklace at a time instead of a bunch at once
New makeup look to make my eyes pop
Thinning my eyebrows
This does not apply to everyone but I found that hoop earrings (specifically big ones) don’t match me and made me look less feminine for some reason
Lip combos
I have big brown eyes and I had blonde and light shades of brown hair for a while which made my eyes less noticeable, going back to dark brown made my eyes pop SO much more again
Sweet perfumes
Lip gloss or a lipstick with some shimmer is something else
Lotion (even though I barely put on lotion)
Buying more bags and carrying one with me always
Looking at least somewhat put together regardless of where I’m going
Looking cute at home
I always say this for everything but jewelry especially gold or a mix of silver and gold (if u do it right)
Long boots make me feel like the baddest baddie ever
So random but keeping a cute makeup bag in my bags make me feel so girl 🩰
That’s it for now babes
Feel free to message me with things you need tips on and I’ll make posts abt it if I can I love making these posts so much
Love u 🫶🏼

Here’s the thing no one tells you about social climbing.
It’s not about trying to impress people. It’s about being someone they want to impress. The real move isn’t flexing your accomplishments or name-dropping who you know. It’s making people feel seen, interesting and a little bit curious about you.
The best social climbers? We don’t shove our way into rooms. We get invited back because we know how to make the right people feel like stars.
Be confident, a little mysterious and genuinely invested in others. That’s the cheat code no one will tell you about.
