Why are people so mean about domesticated rats? Like yes I'm sure a random rat you found off the side of the road has a illness but not a domesticated rat that has probably never stepped foot outside of a warm house before. Rats and other rodents are very clean too so it's always so weird to me that whenever someone posts about their pet rat, there's always someone in the comments saying that they're diseased. They're no dirtier than any other animal, stop hating.
This poll was made because me and a friend got into an argument
If I ever said my opinions on Mapleshade I think I would get beat to death
The haters will never make me hate you a vision of shadows
I got impatient and posted my first clan gen moon two days before I said I would. Please go check it out!
I couldn't agree more, it's just worse warrior cats and the average person is not going to enjoy
I was curious about the story, but I just can’t find the right words to explain it.
The writing felt dull, relying too much on telling rather than showing. For example, the explanation of the character’s tragic backstory lacked depth—it was just handed to the reader instead of being woven into the narrative.
I also couldn’t connect with most of the relationships, like Wildfur and Spottedshadow. They constantly talk about how much they love each other, yet their bond never truly comes to life on the page.
As for the deaths, they were painfully predictable. Instead of feeling sad, I was just frustrated—it all felt like forced emotional manipulation rather than natural storytelling.
Their world is barely explained. Sure, it’s like Warriors but with different names, but if I knew nothing about Warriors, I wouldn’t feel invested in the story.
I shouldn’t have to pay for your Patreon just to understand the story you’re trying to sell me.
Tenelle, I love your artwork, but writing novels just isn’t your strong suit.
Avalon, seriously, man—why didn’t you say anything about the prose?
I'm going to vent here and everyone's going to say I'm wrong or something but I don't care. I HATE THE AUTISM CEATURE!!! I'm saying this as someone who is autistic so no it's not because I hate autistic people or something dumb like that but I hate it because it looks like he's distrust. It looks like he's overstimulated and I hate it. I'M NOT A CEATURE JUST BECAUSE I'M AUTISTIC. I DO NOT LOOK LIKE I'M OVERSTIMULATED ALL THE TIME. I just think it makes autistic people look more infantile and dumb because he looks like he has no thoughts in his head when sometimes I wish I had no thoughts in my head. This is just my opinion I can understand why some people would relate to him because everyone's autism is different but I personally hate it.
In a vision of shadows the characters had actual dynamics that were fun and interesting like the medicine cats and twigkit, the background character had personality like Fernsong helping with the kits (He doesn't just help with him and Ivypool's kits, there's a scene where he's worried about Lilyheart's kit being sick), and I think the Kin was a fun and interesting villain group that realistically took power. The Erins didn't wimp out like they did with Splashtail and say that everyone in Shadowclan followed Darktail because he was threatening babies, they followed Darktail because they actually believed the Rowanstar was a bad leader and that Darktail would be better. Plus the mini character arcs of background characters like Juniperclaw, Yarrowleaf, and Sleekwhisker. There is so much going on in A Vision of Shadows that I can't mention it all. So all I have to say is, GO READ A VISION OF SHADOWS RIGHT NOW! IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!
I miss a vision of shadows so much, avos would never put tawnypelt and crowfeather together, avos had good writing, avos was the best arc, bring back whoever was writing avos.
Save your kitties, we all know they eat everything anyway.

Remember when a bunch of youtubers were talking about watertok and getting mad that the people were calling the flavored water stuff water? That was always kinda weird to me because like, that's got to be the least harmful tiktok community and a lot of them were just people who were trying to drink more water. It was also weird to me how they were like, "How can you not like the taste of water??" because I have super sensitive taste and I can't drink water out of cheap plastic bottles because the taste of plastic rubs off into the water. Idk man, whenever people made videos on them it just felt mean.
