YES always.... with cold water..... and my apples and bananas are specifically washed w dishsoap and cold water I dont trust ppl in stores not to have coughed into their hand and then grabbed the fruit I bought But grapes & berries & soforth u cant rlly wash with soap (at least for me) because it absorbs into the fruit :^( But its ok theyre usually in their own bags I also wash all my groceries Lol
