Had to explain why people make LGBTQIA+ Headcanons (specifically Trans and other gender headcanons) to someone today.

Was kinda awkward since they did NOT get it at all because the headcanons weren't canon, but once i explained that some people make their favorite characters Trans because THEY'RE Trans it kinda clicked in their mind I think.

Anyways LGBTQIA+ headcanons are cool. Headcanon those headcanons because if the character hasn't been CONFIRMED to be Cishet then the headcanons don't go against canon.

I THINK those headcanons made them mad because they didnt get them. either way my definition of headcanon is “something that doesnt majorly change the lore.” and that might be an AU to some people idk lmao. NO HATE TO THIS PERSON!! Theyre chill i just wanna rant about this because it was awkward to explain. i do think that person has some biases to sort out though since we were vibing before i mentioned that William wasnt Cis in my FNaF AU theyre not a bad person or anything though. just learning I think. theyre pretty chill. :>
