I love how he probably watched the sun set too long and accidentally sat down while attempting not to fall off the cliff due to the surface world killing him slowly and yet holding on till his final moments in deaths embrace.

I don't think it's necessarily death that humans fear, I think it is the potential pain and agony that may come with and from it... (oh, to be a shade wondering and wandering, without aim, without burden...)
me and my sib were messing around and we saw someone had ranked the hades characters based on dateability and both me and my sib strongly disagreed so i made this
Ok but what if when you tried to summon Thanatos during the fight against the Nyx Avatar instead of appearing normally Thanatos would rip its way out of the Nyx Avatar Orpheus-style. And then even that didn't kill the Avatar, not even a piece of itself tearing its way back to Makoto could kill that thing. I think that would be a really powerful scene actually.
You guys have no idea how upset I am that we didn't get a Thanatos theurgy.
Pair him up with Saturnus, have a theurgy where the culminations of your bonds with Death work together to wreak absolute havoc.
Or maybe leave him alone, unlock the theurgy through story events and let Ryoji's ghost appear Chidori-style, because even if he's no longer present in the world, there's still a piece of him left behind within your soul.
It would be especially poignant in Episode Aigis, where after such a long period of hostility Ryoji always remembers her final words, that he was her friend. There is no longer any bad blood between them, they will fight side-by-side even after Makoto is gone.

I forgot to post him heree~ That was a little experiment at the end of the last year and i was pretty happy with it. I like that approach and colors i picked so i definitely will do more things like this :> I wanted to capture the mixed feelings he has to Zagreus... Also wanted to try to make a sheer hoodie ...totally not because i drew things under and then i realized he had a hoodie... but that kind of make it more interesting i think? I'll take it as a happy accident.
I can't wait for the sequel!
