Every time is a skeptic headcanon, I’m pretty sure that 8/10 of what presented is just offscreen canon

Random headcanons! Because I have many thoughts and they take up too much brain, so might as well put them somewhere and it's a long one

Skeptic can read QR codes and bar codes. Like physically read them. No scanning necessary.

On that same note, he absolutely cannot read sheet music. It's completely incomprehensible to him

He's definitely hypermobile, and that comes with all the creaking joints, pain, and scary stupid flexibility. Absolutely used it to scare the shit out of people when he was younger. Think bending over backwards to do that freaky spider walk from (I think) The Exorcist

Doesn't mean shit about his balance though. Regularly walks into walls and door frames and is covered in bruises as a result. He definitely trips over his own feet, does that little stumble run thing, and proceeds to act like he almost didn't just lose a fight to gravity

Occasionally stands with his elbows bent and his hands just dangling. T-Rex arms basically. And by occasionally I mean literally whenever he's not holding something, actively doing something, or just has his hands in his pockets

I know this man just sits in the dark in his office. No reason for it, he just does

About his quirk. Using it too much in a short period of time (such as the Meta Liberation Army war arc when he went to fight Twice personally) results in his hands being really sore. He also gets bad headaches from it, and maybe a slight pain behind his eyes. He knows this very well, but chooses to do it anyway. His fear of failure is far greater than any concern over his own well being will ever be

Doesn't develop feelings or crushes easily, but he definitely falls HARD if it ever did happen. Not that anyone would know, he's both secretive and has the most convoluted flirting strategy on the planet

It's his phone number. In binary code. That he gave zero explanation on how to translate it. So the recipient is just stuck with a sheet of paper with 1s and 0s on it. In the worst handwriting imaginable

I dont know if mha season 7 is out now or nah.

But wake me up when skeptic gets his brief (wastes potential) moment, or when it’s shoji, tokoyami, and koda’s character arc moment.

Cause all I can think of is Skeptic just being Tom Hiddleston and Redestro being Willem Dafoe.

The recent Skeptic chapter felt so lack lustering

Like, the man saw the hack that occurred when he started out, and his main insect was to run. Only for him to be captured.

Like, you’d think it be more than that. Like, maybe someone hack their system like a villian attack or something. But no, it’s just a bored shut-in who recreated the “you are an idiot” virus. Which, yeah, I get it. But, you’d maybe, just maybe, expect Skeptic to grow from this and maybe out hack her or something. Like, maybe it a system that was unhackable, you argue. But, with what time has passed and the mla tech, you can assume he’d grown from it and fight her back.

Like, great world building, but it was just short and lack lustering that leaves a dissatisfying taste in your mouth.

The fact the La brava was the one who hack the Feel Good Inc. severs back when skeptic was starting because she was bored. Which in turn cause skeptic No. 1 failure. Now, she’s at it again, and Skeptic is having a major PTSD Vietnamese flashback just by the fact he’s been hacked again but the same person.

Also, the virus she made remind me of the “You are an Idiot” virus is just a nice touch

If there’s one thing I want to see before skeptic goes insane after the whole la brava out hacking him, I want to see her dox skeptic and all the information of the mla member info about them.

Maybe even a little origins story for skeptic cause why not.

Somewhat related, but I always knew that la brava was going to out hack this man.

So, I can’t wait to see skeptic ultimate downfall after being beaten and captured

Some slightly spoilers for the new episode

So, something that hit me after watching the new mha episode is that Rikiya probably had to cover up Miyashita’s death, then get himself a new assistant (who actually follows the mla ideal). Which, rip to her.

But imagine Rikiya having to call skeptic to ask for a cover up and a new assistant after this like:

Redestro: Skeptic, I need a favor from you.

Skeptic: what is it, sir?

Redestro: I need you to look into our records for someone who can be my new assistant. Oh, and send a few our people here as well. Those who are skilled in EMS. It’s for my old friend and colleague. We had a bit of an, disagreement.

Skeptic: Right away sir. Shall I send Curious along the way?

Redestro: That won’t be necessary.

(Also, he still refers to Destro as his dad. Which will forever not sit well with me)

Skeptic playing the bass make sense for me cause he got them big hands. And knowing that bass strings are thick (based on an old friend who played the bass), so you got pull, pluck, and slap those string. And after a while, his hand would be shaking for a while.

Also, you know this man is playing gorillaz and other indie band songs when he isn’t busy.

Not to mention, it a good destresser for him. He probably own atleast 2 to 3 kinds of bass guitars in his home.

So, something I realize is that you can somewhat tell the difference between Skeptic season 5 English voice actor and his season 6. In such, I’ve made a smol video comparing the two.

Perosnally, I prefer season 5 cause it fit skeptic character more. He has menacing but also geeky tone to him and he kinda sound British (fitting cause he’s a literal walking Gorillaz reference)

Season 6 skeptic sounds like an aggressive American
