nature☁️ wildlife reblogging this version because I think this addition is important (I agree lol) this is a common natural process and therefore should not be interfered with it's unfair to both parties for a human with a bias to come in and help either party the only instance in which humans should interfere with nature is if humans caused the issue in the first place the baby squirrel is alive at the end of the video but it may not stay that way asphyxiation for that long + force of the strangulation may have given it lasting damage the rat snake will likely be fine—bites from rodents are not uncommon for them and as long as they don't get infected he should heal well hopefully the snake is able to find another chance at food he looked a bit skinny (slightly sunken underbelly) overall very very cool moment to capture on film!! i'm super jealous!!
