Out of peer shock and sibling pettiness. I don't go by my actual name I live by nicknames and one of those is my preferred name. And my birth name is not anything bad or a bad name I just don't normally use it so my parents thought they were having a boy cause my mom believed in the old wives tales and they worked on predicting my older brother so when I came out not a boy like the tales said I would they were like ummmm and not prepared at all so I was a named after one of the nurses that they thought had a cool name now for the sibling pettiness on my mom's part my mom and my aunt have rocky relationship a best and my aunt also goes by a nickname but unlike me she HATES her first name likes HATES it so my mom fully knowing that gave me my aunts full first name as my middle name my mom has only admitted to it twice while drunk and will never admitted it sober
