If that was you, don't be shy, reveal yourself :] Also this is my first jab of writing Sal (or Larry & Ash, though brief), hopefully I proof-read and edited this enough on my own for it to be good

Another snowy, winter evening in Nockfell, Minnesota slips by, spent sat next to a stretched out Sal. Your eyes skim the textbook balanced in his lap, physics, it's like another language to you. Slowly he turns the page, immersed in the texts and diagrams printed neatly inside.
Softly, you interrupt his focus, "do you think they'll ever stop arguing?"
Snapping out of his thoughts, his head raises, "Hm? What's happening?"
"Listen." You nod, smiling as you look over to Larry and Ash, a thick black bun piled on top of his head and her reddish-brown hair draped over her shoulders.
"-but charcoal is so much more fun." Ashley grumps, a thin vine-like stick you bought for her birthday clasped in her fingers.
Friendly, Larry quips back, "I'm telling you, graphite is much easier to control, charcoal gets everywhere!" His gestures mimic an explosion, a pencil caught in his hand.
Nearly silent, Sal's raspy voice whispers back, "I see what you mean now."
Shifting, you duck your head closer to his ear, "they've been at it for at least an hour now."
Quiet, he mutters, "They like art a lot more than I do."
You pick at the stray threads wisping from the hole in your jeans, "True, you're much more of a mathematician than the rest of us," you concede, tapping the thick textbook in his lap, "…besides Todd."
"How is that physics class going?" you ask, watching his head move away from your gaze, looking instead to the CD player. Sanity Falls quietly seeps from it- well, as quiet as Sanity Falls can be.
A soft sigh collides against his prosthetic, "It's good, just time consuming," he slumps further into the bean bag, "how's your job at the salon?"
You wince, reflecting on the day before, "…Messy. I butchered someones hair yesterday…"
He hesitates a second, before mumbling, "…ouch"
"yeah…" grimacing, your mind wanders off to the blunt layers and too much hair littering the floor. The cold slowed your hands, between that and your scattered mind… well someone walked out unhappy.
Sal's eyes focus on the pair on the other side of the room, watching their hands curve as lines smooth onto the paper. You may not be able to see his face, but you can tell there's something on his mind.
"…Do you want to practice on mine…?" he offers, bright cyan eyes staring, questioning.
You start to protest, your eyes widening at the trust he offers, "No I couldn't-"
He interrupts, steady in tone, "It's fine, already a mess anyways." His pale hand runs through the shaggy blue mess, overgrown and choppy.
Hesitating, you watch the uneven blue waves settle, "…are you sure?"
"Yeah." His response is simple, firm.
A lull in the conversation follows as you mull over the choice: risk your freinds hair, and improve your skill, or leave it be?
You and Sal may have met in a rather unconventional way, (a burning wig and ringing fire alarm were involved) but you two still get along unusually well. Maybe it's something to do with his desire for styled hair and your need of practice.
"Do you think they'll notice if we leave?" you ask, suddenly twice as nervous as before.
His eyes glitter with humor, "in an hour, sure."
Laughter bubbles in your chest, a happy glow greeting Sal's eyes as he sets his textbook aside. Roaring laughter from Larry bursts the quiet bubble you've had with Sal for the last few minutes, the both of you freezing your struggle from the bean bag.
Breaking the pause, he quips, "better now than never."
Your keys jingle in the lock as it finally loosens, the door swinging open as Sal stands behind you, silent as ever. Green carpet and neutral walls greet your eyes, decorated with family pictures and a colorful rug.
Following you closely behind, his eyes survey the empty apartment, "your parents aren't home?"
"They're busy tonight," you reply, striding to the kitchen, tossing your keys onto the counter with a loud clatter, "do you want something to drink?"
"No, thank you." he replies, as you shuffle through the fridge. Dissatisfied with what you find, you shut the creaking door with a sigh.
"well, then to the chair with you" you gesture towards the small dining table cramped against the far wall, humor laced in your tone.
The chair squeaks as he pulls it from the table, watching you duck into the bright bathroom just off the living room. Folding his arms, he settles his head onto the cold surface, watching a tiny carpet beetle creep across the marbled vinyl as he waits.
It's not long before you flop down into the chair beside him, setting down a black, plastic box filled with your hair tools. Combs, scissors, shears… you're pretty sure you have a curling iron somewhere.
"So… what do you want done?" you start, eyes lifting to the spotless mask that adorns his face- well except the purple-ish pink section across his left side.
"uh… whatever works best…?"
You stand, his gaze following your movements. Yours on the other hand are more concerned about his choppy layers, adjusting his gaze forward and down.
"hm…" you hum anxiously, fingers brushing the straps holding his mask in place, "can this come off?"
Relief floods your veins as his hands reach up, working the clasps loose. A glimpse of exposed sinew reflects in your eyes as he sets it onto the table, his hands resting on his knees.
Slowly, blue hair floats and collects on the ground, minutes ticking by as you work, your hands warm and mind clear. Finally, you finish, guiding him to your bathroom and trying not to run him into every wall on the way there. Your hands rest on his shoulders, the both of your expressions reflected in the mirror.
"You can open your eyes now." You say, tapping the fraying burgundy of his shirt sleeve. His eyes crack open, jaw popping wide as he leans forward to inspect your handiwork. Your hands slip from his shoulders, pride gleaming in your smile.
He turns to you, disbelief across his expression, "I don't believe you butchered that clients hair at all."
You just smile, a bit cheeky. Many mannequins, and incidents when you were five, desiring new bangs, led to this skill of yours- though Sal's bangs are much more impressive than the ones you did when you were five.

Beloved headcanons would be ones that genuinely make sense or add to a character in a way that could not be explored in the game. (Likely highly debated)
This also means no changes to the story: this includes character death(s), mistakes, or Sal's dreams. (Would come with proper tags & warnings)
The only alterations would be converting any dialog with game mechanics to something that makes sense. Essentially tailoring a game into writing.

Larry was having one of those days again. The day was moving by slower than it was supposed to, drifting in and out to sleep as he attempted to complete the semester's midterm before spring break. As time ticked and ticked, the more pissed he got looking at the numbers on his paper til he couldn't take it anymore.
"Can I go to the nurse I'm not feeling the best," he said quickly raising his hand.
The teacher, who was as ready to leave for the break as everyone else shook his head.
Larry quickly got up from his seat and nearly speed-walked out of the silent room into the school halls. With this, he could take a painful sigh of relief. He couldn't focus with his mind in a panic. He needed to calm his mind for a brief moment. Hopefully, the teacher wouldn't notice he was gone for too long. He made his way down the halls to the janitor's closet. Just as he opens the door he's shocked to see a small figure curled up in the corner next to the paper toilets, rolling a blunt.
The figure looked up at Larry, sharing his shock but soon sighing in relief as he closed the door behind him.
"That better not be my secret stash," his whisper was harsh but playful
"Of course not~," dragging your words as you pull out ur lighter "Wanna puff?"
"You're going to ask me if I want a puff of my own shit in my secret hiding spot?"
"Well if you put it that way-"
"Just hand me the stupid blunt," he laughs as he sits down next to the dirty mop and playfully snatches the blunt and lighter from you. "I reckon you're having a shitty day too?"
"Oh, boy don't I have a story to tell you!" You stood up in the cramped little closet telling the story about how you've been going through a runt with your art teacher about your art group project and how Travis, one of your group partners, was making a problem. Larry sat and listened to it all, nodding his head as smoke filled the cramped room.
He always thought it was funny how you always had to stand up and move around to tell a story, the way you pouted when you were upset, everything about you tickled his brain in a funny way. Maybe it was the smoke, he thought so many times. But the more he spent time with you the more that funny thought turned into something more, something stronger, something that for the past few months he has finally realized. At that moment in time, he wondered what you both could be.
...
"-LARRY!"
"Huh," he quickly snapped out of his thoughts, soon realizing that you were leaning in front of him snapping your fingers in his face.
"Were you even listening?" You frowned
"Oh yeah of course! Yeah, Travis, total dickhead-" Larry stopped as you giggled, and lightly grabbed the blunt between his lips.
"I think you've had enough of this," you giggled as you slipped the blunt between your own. "So why are you here, don't you have a midterm today?" You say as you try to flip your lighter struggling.
And at that moment something happened. Larry didn't know what, but he felt something. That weird itchy feeling in his chest grew stronger and it wasn't from the smoke. He knew. He always knew. But the words never slipped out his mouth the right way.
"Oh umm... just... math test, yeah math test."
"Guessing you couldn't focus?"
"Yep."
"Well that's understandable," Take one more puff before standing up and handing it back to Larry. "Just don't stay in here for too long."
"Wait you're leaving already."
"Yeah, I have to head back before the teacher begins to wonder where I am."
"Oh," he sighs as you reach and twist the handle of the door.
"Awwwww, is lil Lar-Bare gonna miss me," you mimic in a baby-like tone
"Fuck you," he yells as he grabs a dirty cloth and throws it at you but not before you close the door, leaving the damp cloth slide down the door. Leaving him with himself and himself alone.
He sighed looking down at the blunt he had given back to you. The itchy feeling was getting worse by the day. Every day that he saw you the feeling always got worse. And knowing that information scared the shit out of him.
He liked you. Liked really, really liked you. Yet every time that those words came to mind, he pushed them away not giving them a second thought. But now the slightest thought of you drove him crazy, nuts even.
Before those thoughts took over again he quickly took another puff hoping the smoke would help with his overriding mind. Yet as he took his puff he quickly began coughing, from such a strong inhale. He coughed and coughed hoping that the sting would go away in his chest but it only got worse. Causing something to come up from his throat in sharp pain. Quickly spitting it out on the tile floor of the closet. Catching his breath he looked over to what he had and regurgitated, to his shock he found something unusual.

Okay so IK i have a fic I'm already working on a a Bunnydoll fic along with a like a TADC AU but I had to post this because before I even had this account I had another account that was created like 2 years ago and it had this fic on it, but SOME HOW it was deleted (that was like 3 years ago when I was super into sally face)

Description
Sal Fisher aka Sally Face, is the main protagonist of the game ‘Sally Face’. Sal wears a prosthetic face mask, because of an accident that resulted in both his face being disfigured, as well as his mother’s death. After moving into the Addison Apartments, Sal immediately discovers the paranormal activity that goes on there. After some time, Sal begins to uncover a conspiracy involving a cult whose plan is to unleash an evil entity. Sal becomes dedicated to stopping the cult…but at the cost of those he loves, as well as his own life.
Personality
Sal is a kind hearted person who cares for those around him. As a child and teenager, he was very trusting and did not judge others for who they were. Sal developed close bonds with other kids and even adults who lived in the apartment, and was liked by many of them.
Sal hardly ever got angry, though he did suffer from some form of PTSD, which was caused by his mother’s death as well as his facial disfiguration. Sal also takes medication for anxiety, depression, and migraines due to those traumatic incidents.
Despite his anxiety and traumas, Sal was a good person who was often cheerful and imaginative. After experiencing paranormal incidents, Sal became interested in things like ghosts and was willing to find and talk to them. Sal was, at first, scared of the ghosts in the building…but he soon became used to them and even befriended a few such as Megan and Mrs. Sanderson.
After discovering the secret cult and it’s connections to Addison Apartments, Sal became brave and determined to stop them at all costs. He ended up getting his friends involved, though they were very willing to help him since it was clear that the cult was evil.
When his family and the residents of Addison Apartments became infected by Red Eye, Sal had no choice but to kill them in order to stop the infection from spreading. This became very devastating for Sal, who wanted to finally live a normal life and be happy with his friends and family. After being arrested for the murder spree, Sal became less trusting and was now deeply troubled by what he had done. Nevertheless, he kept trying to prove that the cult and Red Eye were real, but to no avail.
Even as a ghost, Sal was still the kind and caring person that he was, and never stopped trying to defeat Red Eye and the cult.
Relationships
Henry Fisher: Henry Fisher is Sal’s father. Henry and Sal loved each other and supported each other through the tough times that they were going through. Henry suffered from depression and began drinking due to losing his wife, as well as Sal becoming disfigured. Despite this, Henry was still devoted to taking care of his son and starting a new life at Addison Apartments. As time went on, Henry’s mental state became better and he was happy to see that Sal had made some good friends. Henry eventually married Lisa Johnson, the mother of Sal’s best friend Larry. Before being killed by his own son, Henry told Sal that he loved him and was very proud of him. Sal did not want to kill his own father, but he had no choice since Henry had been infected by Red Eye. Henry’s death haunts Sal, as he has nightmares of his father disowning and hating him because of the murders.
Diane Fisher: Diane was Sal’s mother who had died before the events of the game. Diane was a loving a caring woman who loved her family very much, and was even willing to sacrifice her life to save Sal. When Sal was little, he and his mother went on a picnic and were waiting for his father to come join them. But that day, a “dog” had attacked them, killed Diane and disfigured Sal’s face. The “dog”, however, was Kenneth Phelps…the leader of the cult who was always seen wearing a dog mask. He had attempted to kill Sal because of a prophecy that foretold the cult’s destruction at the hands of Sal…but Diane used her body to shield Sal from being shot by him and died. Sal still loves him mother dearly. Her death had caused her husband, Henry, to become depressed and was also the reason for his drinking. Both of them remember her fondly, and were able to finally heal from her death after years of anguish.
Larry Johnson: Larry is Sal’s best friend and stepbrother. Sal and Larry are the same age, and met not long after Sal had moved into Addison Apartments. Larry lives in the basement of the apartment with his mother, Lisa, who works at the apartment as a maintenance worker/janitor. Before meeting Sal, Larry had believed himself to be cursed after he had an encounter with Red Eye. After his encounter with Red Eye, many bad things began to happen to Larry: He accidentally killed Mrs, Gibson’s pet rabbit with firecrackers, his father disappeared the next day, his mother didn’t talk for a while, and he spent some time in juvey for what had happened with the rabbit. But after meeting Sal, Larry’s life became better and he became happier. Larry and Sal’s bond grew strong as they continued to hang out together, and even became siblings after Sal’s father married Larry’s mother. Larry helped Sal fight Red Eye and to stop the cult. The two of them were going to move in with their friend Todd and his boyfriend…until the cult unleashed the Red Eye Virus and infected the residents of Addison Apartments, including Larry. To make sure that he did not infect others, Larry committed suicide in his tree house…but not before sending one, final message to Sal. Sal was greatly devastated by Larry’s death, and was angry at him for leaving him. Afterwards, Larry became a ghost and began to haunt his treehouse. Even as a ghost, Larry continued to try and help Sal defeat Red Eye and the cult. After Sal was executed, Larry continued to help Sal’s ghost, and the two of them hugged each other before defeating Red Eye and the cult once and for all. It is unknown what had happened to Larry’s ghost afterwards, but it is likely that he descended into Heaven afterwards. Sal hopes to reunite with Larry one day.
Lisa Johnson: Lisa is Larry’s mother and Sal’s stepmother. Lisa is a kind and hardworking woman who loves Larry and often worries about him. She is in charge of maintenance inside the apartment, as well as keeping it clean. She and Larry live in the basement of the Apartment, because they don’t have to pay rent for it since she works there. Lisa and Sal got along well, and she treated him as though he were her own child. Lisa and Sal’s father, Henry, began dating each other and eventually married, making Lisa Sal’s stepmom. Sal was very happy when Lisa became his stepmom, but was very devastated when she became infected by Red Eye, and had no choice but to kill her.
Ashley Campbell: Ashely is one of Sal’s best friends. She is a kind girl who cares very much for her friends, especially Sal. After the two of them met, they became quite close and would often hang out together along with Larry, Todd, Chug, and Maple. Ashley had also helped Sal with uncovering Red Eye and the cult, and aided him and Larry into defeating them. She was a bit scared and skeptical about it all at first…until she witnessed it first hand. After Sal had killed the residents of Addison Apartments, Ashley was the first to discover what he had done and was mortified. Some years later, she testified against him at his trial, but came to regret it when Sal was sentenced to death for his crimes. Ashley had tried to prove that Sal was telling the truth about the cult…but she was too late, as Sal’s execution could not be halted. After Sal’s death, Ashley continued to fight against the cult and stop their evil plans. Sal’s ghost helped Ashley by possessing her arm, which gave her powers to stop the cult and to save their friends. After defeating the cult and Red Eye, Ashley and Sal’s spirit continued to cleanse the world from the Plague of Shadows and continued to try and find Larry’s ghost. There are some hints that Sal had a crush on Ashley, and that she may have had feelings for him as well.
Todd Morrison: Todd was one of Sal’s best friends. Like Sal, Todd lived in Addison Apartments and shared his interest in the paranormal. Todd is very smart and is able to invent things that can find ghosts. Todd and Sal were good friends, and even allowed him and Larry to move in with him and his boyfriend Neil during college. After Red Eye infected the residents of the apartment, Todd grew insane and managed to flee from Sal. Afterwards, Todd was found and spent the next few years in a mental hospital, suffering from the infection caused by Red Eye. A few years after Sal’s death, Todd was captured by the cult along with Neil, Maple, and two other victims. Todd was rescued by Ashley, Sal’s ghost, and Larry’s ghost. After the battle, Todd began to recover over time, and managed to keep Red Eye under control.
Chug Cohen: Chug was a resident of Addison Apartments and one of Sal’s closest friends. Chug is a chubby boy who loves chocolate and the school’s bologna sandwiches. Like Sal, Chug believes that the apartment is haunted and is scared of ghosts, but was willing to go into one of the haunted rooms to make sure that Sal was safe. Sal and Chug had a good relationship, and Sal became an uncle-like figure to Chug’s daughter: Soda. As an adult, Chug married their friend Maple, and the two of them had a loving relationship with both each other and their daughter. Both Chug and Soda were infected by Red Eye, and were both killed by Sal. It is very likely that Sal was devastated by what he had done to them, as they were like family.
Maple Cohen: Maple was one of Sal’s friends. Maple was a bit shy and introverted, but a good person who cared about her friends and family. Maple was unaware of the paranormal stuff that went on at the apartment, as well as the cult and Red Eye for many years. At some point, Maple and Chug began to date each other, got married, and had a daughter named ‘Soda’. Maple loved both Chug and Soda very much, and was sad to leave them when she went to go visit her parents. Maple and Sal saw each other as family, especially since Soda called Sal her ‘uncle’. Because Maple was not at the apartment when the Red Eye Infection began, she was not infected and was not killed by Sal. It is unknown what had happened to Maple after the murder spree, but it is very likely that she was greatly devastated by the deaths of both her husband and daughter. She appeared at Sal’s trial, and likely felt nothing but hatred for him because he had killed Chug and Soda. Some years after Sal’s death, Maple became infected by Red Eye and was kept in a cage by Ashley and Neil for her own safety, as she was being driven insane by Red Eye. She was then captured and killed by the cult, along with Neil and two other victims.
Soda Cohen: Soda was Chug and Maple’s daughter. Soda and Sal were like family, as Soda always called Sal: ‘Uncle Sally’. Sal was very fond of Soda and would give her piggyback rides. She was a very sweet and innocent girl, who loved her parents very much. After being infected by Red Eye, Soda was killed by Sal, alongside her father, to prevent the infection from spreading. Her death had very likely devastated her mother.
Travis Phelps: Travis was a classmate of Sal who often bullied him. Travis was greatly disliked by his classmates, due to his bullying and violence. Sal, however, did not hate him and did not want revenge against Travis for bullying him. One day, Sal accidentally discovered Travis crying alone in a restroom stall at school. Sal then learned that Travis was secretly gay, but his very religious father was abusing him for it, and the abuse was making Travis hate himself. Sal reassured Travis that there was nothing wrong with him, and tried to comfort him. At some point, the two of them became good friends. Travis was seen at Sal’s trial, likely because they were friends and he couldn’t believe what Sal had done. It was later revealed that Travis’ father was, in fact, the leader of the cult. Travis became a member of the cult, but only so he could spy on the cult for his friends. In the end, Travis sacrificed his life to save his friends from his father and his cult members. It is likely that Travis is not a ghost and descended into Heaven instead. Some fans believe that Travis may have had a crush on Sal, or at least wanted to be friends with him.
Neil: Neil was Todd’s boyfriend and one of Sal’s friends. Neil was a kind and easygoing guy who had known Sal ever since high school, and even allowed him and Larry to live with him and Todd during college. Neil didn’t mind Todd and Sal’s interest in the paranormal, and would listen to Sal when he talked about his nightmares. It is very likely that he knew about the cult and Red Eye, as his boyfriend and friends had been investigating them for years. It is unknown what his reaction was when Sal killed everyone in Addison Apartments, but he was likely horrified by what had happened but understood Sal’s reasons were to stop the Red Eye infection from spreading. It is also unknown what his reaction was towards Todd being possessed by Red Eye and committed to a mental hospital, but he was likely devastated by it because of his love for Todd. Neil attended Sal’s trial, and helped Ash with trying to defeat the cult after Sal’s execution. Neil was, unfortunately, kidnapped and killed by the cult alongside Maple and two other victims.
Terrence Addison: Terrence was the owner of Addison Apartments. Terrence’s apartment was on the first floor near the main entrance. Terrence was a shut-in who never left his room, and would sell his homemade tea to the adults in the building. When he was young, his parents struck a deal with the cult and he was secretly being fed human flesh…though he was unaware of his parents’ actions and grew up idolizing his father. Terrence’s dream was open a tea shop, as he loved making his own tea. Between 1917-1932, Terrence’s soul was destroyed by The Endless One and he killed his parents, because they had been infected by Red Eye. The cult locked Terrence away to contain their secret, and Terrence’s body began to slowly transform over the years into a horrific monster. He managed to hide his appearance from the public, but had no choice but to give-up his dream of opening a tea shop and take ownership of the apartment building. Despite everything he had been through, Terrence had a friendly attitude towards the tenants and was committed to managing Addison Apartments. He was very kind and friendly towards Sal, and Sal was kind to him as well…but also felt sorry that Terrence had to give up on his dream of opening a tea shop. But as ‘The Endless One’, he was evil, malicious, and taunting towards Sal. After Sal defeated ‘The Endless One’, Terrence told Sal his story and how to stop Red Eye from spreading: By killing all of the building’s tenants, because they had all been infected by Red Eye. Terrence had disappeared afterwards. It is unknown if he remained a ghost, or if he was able to crossover afterwards.
Charley Mansfield: Charley was tenant at Addison Apartments who had lived on the second floor. Charley was a strange man who was obsessed with a show called ‘My Little Glitter Ponies’. He was bit arrogant and rude towards Sal at first, but then became friendly towards him. On the day Sal had moved into the building, a woman named Mrs. Sanderson had been killed, and her murder had been witnessed by Larry. Larry saw that Charley was her killer, and that he killed her because she, like Charley, was also a big fan of Glitter Ponies and had a rare figurine that he wanted. Sal was able to help Larry prove that Charley was the murderer, though Charley claimed that he was innocent. In one of Sal’s nightmares, Red Eye came out of Charley’s body, which hinted that he may have been possessed by Red Eye when he killed Mrs. Sanderson. Charley may have been a member of the cult, as the cult had replaced Charley with someone else after he had been arrested or…he was not a member but an unwilling host for Red Eye for unknown reasons. Charley is likely deceased after Red Eye stopped using him as a host. It is shown that Sal did not really like Charley, due to him being a killer.
David: David was a tenant of Addison Apartments who lived on the third floor. David was a relaxed and humble man, but was also a bit delusional due to his past use of drugs (which he regrets). He was “married” to a mannequin named ‘Sara’, who he treated as though she were real. Sal was kind towards David and did not judge him for his past mistakes, and he even treated ‘Sara’ as though she were real to not hurt David’s feelings. David have Sal some items that helped him when he was investigating the ghosts that lived within the building, and Sal helped him quiet down a party in return. David regretted the choices that he had made when he was young, and advised Sal to not repeat his mistakes. David was killed by Sal after he had been infected by Red Eye.
Mrs. Gibson: Mrs. Gibson was a tenant of Addison Apartments who lived on the first floor. Mrs. Gibson was a crabby old lady who did not like Sal, and especially hate Larry because he had accidentally killed her pet rabbit when he was a child. Despite her rudeness, Sal was polite towards her and felt pity for her. Mrs. Gibson was killed by Sal after becoming infected by Red Eye.
Robert Silva: Robert was a tenant of Addison Apartments who lived on the fourth floor. Robert was a young man who often dressed like a punk, but was very kind and friendly. Robert owned a large company, but liked to live a modest life with little possessions. He and Sal got along very well, and would help each other from time to time. Robert was killed by Sal after becoming infected by Red Eye.
CJ, Azaria, and Sierra: CJ, Azaria, and Sierra were tenants of Addison Apartments who lived on the third floor. The three of them were college students who were quite friendly, studious, and would parties from time to time. CJ was a laid back guy in a wheelchair, Azaria was an attractive woman who got along well with younger people, and Sierra was a chubby girl who was very friendly and outgoing. On the day of the massacre, Sierra was moving out of the apartment but went back to get her stuff. The three of them were killed by Sal after becoming infected by Red Eye.
Ray and Janis Morrison: Ray and Janis were Todd’s parents who lived on the second floor. They had a hippy lifestyle, and would often smoke pot that they grew themselves. The two of them got along well with Sal, and were happy that he and Todd were friends. Despite their laid back lifestyle, they were loving parents who wanted their son to get in touch with nature. Janis had no problem with Todd’s interest in technology and the paranormal, while Ray was not interested in that stuff and wanted Todd to become more interested in nature and plants. They may have known about Todd and Neil being a couple, but did not mind it and supported them. They were both killed by Sal after being infected by Red Eye.
Alyson Rosenburg: Alyson was a tenant at Addison Apartments who lived on the first floor. Rosenburg was an elderly woman who often talked with Sal about her regrets, and was quite cryptic about how she viewed life. Sal was polite towards her and would listen to her stories, and did not correct her when she thought that he was a girl. It is revealed that Rosenburg is actually a ghost who had been dead for many years, but kept it a secret from everyone in the apartment. It is also revealed that, in her youth, she was an ambitious woman who sold her family’s land to the Addison Family…a choice that she would soon come to regret. Being the last member of her family, Rosenburg was lonely and wanted to be part of a group. She eventually joined the cult, as she sought acceptance and companionship. She was, at first, a dedicated member of the cult…but she eventually betrayed them and sought to stop them from summoning Red Eye. She recruited two people, Stacy Holmes and Greg Montague, into helping her thwart the cult. She, Stacy, and Greg were all killed by Red Eye and remained ghosts within the apartment building. As a ghost, Rosenburg pretended to be a forgetful old lady to hide the fact that she was a ghost. Rosenburg would continue to regret selling her family’s land and for allowing the cult to continue their activities. It is unknown why she betrayed the cult…but it could be that Rosenburg realized how evil the cult and Red Eye really were after meeting Stacy (her husband, Luke, was a member of the cult). After Rosenburg is revealed to be a ghost, she disappears in front of Sal, who wishes for her to find peace. Years later, when Red Eye began to infect the apartment’s tenants, Rosenburg’s ghost reappeared and helped Sal defeat The Endless One and free the residents from Red Eye. It is unknown if she is still an earthbound spirit, or if she was able to crossover (she did not believe in God or Heaven, so…).
Megan Holmes: Megan was a little girl who had lived in Addison Apartments during the 1980′s. She is a ghost who haunts apartment 504, which is where she lived with her parents when she was alive. Megan met Sal in the restroom of her old apartment, when he went in there to investigate the paranormal activity that went on there. Megan is a sweet girl who is friendly towards Sal, but can be a bit shy at times. When she was alive, she had lived a fairly normal life with her parents: Luke and Stacy Holmes. Unknown to her, however, her father became a devoted member of a cult…something that her Catholic mother was very against and wanted no part in it. Her mother became very protective of her, as her father became neglectful towards them. One day, her mother brought over a man named Greg Montague who, unknown to Megan, was a man who her mother was having an affair with. Stacy was having an affair with Greg due to her husband’s neglect, as well as his devotion to the cult. Her father became aware of his wife’s infidelity, and his sanity began to deteriorate. Meanwhile, Megan was oblivious to what was going on with her parents. One day, Stacy and Greg helped Rosenburg stop the cult’s plan to summon Red Eye. Afterwards, on Red Eye’s orders…Luke killed his wife in her bed by evisceration, and killed Megan in the bathroom by drowning her in the bathtub. After killing his family, Luke became remorseful at what he had done, realizing all too late that his actions had cost him the family that he had once loved, and committed suicide by hanging. To cover up what had happened, the cult took the bodies of Megan and her parents to a lake, and made it look like they had died in a fishing accident. For many years, Megan and her parents would haunt their old home. It is unknown if Megan remembered that her father was the one who had killed her and her mother, as she does not mention how she or her mother had died. It is unknown what had happened to Megan and her parents’ ghosts after Red Eye was defeated, but it is likely that she and her mother were able to ascend into Heaven.
Greg Montague: Greg is a ghost who haunts Todd’s bathroom. When he was alive, Greg was a kind farmer who comforted a married woman named Stacy Holmes, after he found her crying outside the church (that was secretly run by the cult). Afterwards, the two of them fell in love with each other and became lovers. Greg felt guilty for falling in love with a married woman, but continued to be with with Stacy. He was also very kind to Megan who, in return, took a liking to him as well (she was unaware that he and her mother were a couple). Some time later, Stacy’s distraught husband, Luke, began to stalk Greg to catch him with his wife. Some time later, Greg helped Stacy and Rosenburg thwart the cult’s plans. But not long afterwards…Luke murdered Stacy and Megan while possessed by Red Eye. It is unknown who killed Greg or how, but it is very likely that he was killed by Luke the same day he killed his family. As a ghost, Greg weeps in sadness and regret, as he blames himself for Stacy and Megan’s deaths. When he and Sal meet, Sal tries to comfort him and tries to tell him that he was not to blame for their deaths. It is unknown what happened to Greg after Red Eye was defeated, but it is likely that he had ascended into Heaven, along with Stacy and Megan.
Cassandra Sanderson: Mrs. Sanderson was a tenant of Addison Apartments who lived on the fourth floor with her husband: Herman Sanderson. Mrs. Sanderson was a kind woman who was very polite, and was a huge fan of the cartoon, ‘My Little Glitter Ponies’. Before Sal and his father moved into the apartment, Mrs. Sanderson hired Larry to fix her toilet. But not long afterwards, she was murdered by a possessed Charley, and became one of the ghosts who resided within the apartment. Sal was horrified by how and why she was murdered, and helped Larry prove that Charley had done it. Even as a ghost, Mrs. Sanderson was polite and helpful towards Sal, as she told him what she knew about Red Eye. It is revealed that her husband, Herman, had been involved with the cult for an unknown amount of time, and that Mrs. Sanderson was not aware of his activities for quite some time. After learning that her husband was part of the cult, Mrs. Sanderson stole a sacred tome from the cult to find answers about it. This action was what led to her murder, as she had known too much and needed to be silenced. As a ghost, Mrs. Sanderson can become bored, so she would talk to Sal to relieve her boredom. It is unknown what happened to her after Red Eye’s defeat, though it is likely that Mrs. Sanderson was able to ascend into Heaven.
Herman Sanderson: Herman was the husband of Cassandra Sanderson. Herman was a man who loved his wife dearly, though she was unaware that he was a member of a cult. After Mrs. Sanderson stole from the cult to find answers about it, Herman had told the members of the cult about what she had done. This led to his wife being killed by Charley, who had been possessed by Red Eye. After learning about her death, Herman was completely devastated, to the point where he had everything that reminded him of her removed from their apartment, as he could not bare to look at them. He then moved out of the apartment, and spent years mourning his wife’s death. On the day of the mass murder, Herman returned to the apartment and asked Sal and Larry about them seeing her ghost. Afterwards, Herman committed suicide so he could be with his wife, but she had already disappeared by that time. Sal had felt sorry for him, as he could see how much he missed his wife. It is unknown if Herman was still a member of the cult after his wife’s murder, though it is likely that he had lost all faith and respect for them after they had her killed.
Jim Johnson: Jim was the husband of Lisa and the father of Larry. Unknown to his family, Jim was an alien who came to Earth with his sister, Evelyn, after his home planet had been infected by Red Eye. At some point, he was convinced by Mrs. Rosenburg to join the cult, and his sister became possessed by Red Eye. At one point, Jim met and fell in love with Lisa and had they had a son together: Larry. Jim loved his family very much, as Larry mentions that his parents never fought. Jim stayed with the cult to protect his wife and son, but was often plagued by nightmares of Evelyn, who had died while being possessed by Red Eye. One day, Jim discovered the cult’s plan to kill all the children in the world in order to prevent the prophecy that a child would defeat the cult from coming true. Jim then left his family in order to stop the cult, and died doing it. Jim’s soul wondered for quite some time, and was able to communicate with Sal and helped him finish what he had started. Lisa and Larry did not know why he had left, and Lisa believed that he had abandoned them, while Larry blamed himself for his father’s disappearance.
Kenneth Phelps: Kenneth Phelps is the leader of the cult, as well as one of the main antagonists of the game. He is a pastor at the local protestant church, though he is actually a leader of a cult whose goal is to summon an evil entity into the world. It is unknown why or when he became the cult’s leader, but he is a zealot who is determined to complete his mission no matter what. He was willing to sacrifice the lives of others, even other members of the cult, in order to please Red Eye. Kenneth is abusive towards his son Travis, as it is implied that he beats him because his son is gay. It is revealed that Kenneth was the one who killed Sal’s mother, Diane, though he was originally trying to kill Sal instead. The reason was because of a prophecy that stated that Sal would defeat the cult and Red Eye, and so he attempted to kill Sal in order to keep the prophecy from coming true. However, Diane sacrificed her life to save her son, and the bullet went right through her and disfigured Sal’s face. He would then have to deal with Sal years later, even after Sal had been executed and became a ghost. Kenneth may not have been an actual Christian Minister, as it may have been his way of hiding his true nature. He forced Travis into joining the cult, but this became his undoing…as Travis stabbed his father and the two of them fell into The Void, killing them both. Kenneth may have joined the cult with the promise of becoming all powerful, even immortal. It is unknown if his wife was also a member of the cult, as she is never seen or mention…but it is likely that she is no longer around.
The Cult: The Cult is one of the major antagonists of the game. The Cult has been around for quite a long time. For reasons unknown, the members of the cult tries to summon an evil entity: Red Eye. They help Red Eye by giving him a human vessel, and kill residents of the town without remorse. The Cult is able to replace people with body doubles, in order to cover up their actions from the rest of the public. If someone in the cult defected, or if an outsider attempted to stop them, those people would be killed by someone possessed by Red Eye. It is unknown why the members want to help Red Eye…though it is likely that Red Eye had promised to grant them power and immortality if they helped him. After Sal’s execution, the cult had nearly succeeded in infecting people. Their plans, however, were thwarted by the ghosts of Sal and Larry, Ash, and Travis. The cult was then defeated for good this time.
Red Eye: Red Eye is the major antagonist of the game. Red Eye is an evil entity that came from space, and infected a planet before it decided to do the same to Earth. At some point, a cult dedicated to Red Eye was formed, and Red Eye was able to use them to carry out it’s evil deeds. Red Eye may have convinced them by promising them power and immortality. Red Eye had no regard for any life, and terrorized innocent people and their families. Red Eye viewed humans a below it, and believed itself to have control over all. Red Eye and Sal viewed each other as enemies, as Sal was determined to stop Red Eye’s evil plans no matter what, while Red Eye would attempt to thwart Sal as well. Red Eye possessed Todd and tried to take complete control over him, but Todd was able to contain Red Eye and keep it from taking over him completely. In the end, Red Eye was defeated for good, and was kept under control from by Todd.
