Hijikata Toshirou's Nicknames

A list of Hijikata's most used nicknames.

Gintoki: Hijikata-kun. Oogushi-kun. Oni no Fukucho. Toshi. Mayonnaise addict. Fukucho. Other random insults.

Kagura: Toshi. (She also sometimes repeats Gintoki's insults/nicknames)

Shinpachi: Hijikata-san. Oni no Fukucho

Sougo: Hijikata-san. Hijikata. Bastard (and many other random insults). Vice-Commander (only in serious moments). Toshi (when repeating something Kondo said).

Kondo: Toshi

Yamazaki: Hijikata-san. Vice-Commander

Matsudaira: Toshi

Tetsu: Vice-Commander. Toshi (before turning into a C-boy).

Shimaru: Vice-Commander

Shinsengumi: Hijikata-san. Vice-Commander/Fukucho

Note 1: He calls himself in his head Toshirou. Tosshi also calls him like that.

Note 2: When he is Tosshi then everyone calls him that.

Note 3: During Soul Switch arc, when Gintoki was on his body, the Shinsengumi called him Toshi-san.

Note 4: During Time Skip arc, Otae called him Toshi-san, probably because they were supposedly closer since they had a "baby" together. I wouldn't say this is relevant, but I thought it was funny.

Note 5: 90% of the time Gintoki uses the Hijikata-kun in a teasing tone.

Note 6: When nervous/panicked (for whatever reason), Gintoki calls him Hijikata-san (in a more polite way than usual), and Katsura calls him Hijikata-kun (in a friendly matter).
