this is maybe the most important berserk-related interview that has been released in years. some highlights:
- miura is creating another manga, but having his full-time assistants (who he is paying well enough for them to all afford houses apparently) do the majority of the work so that the pace at which berserk is released isn’t effected
- he bought his studio a bunch of new equipment and hired new assistants, and considers this new manga “training” so that his assistants can learn his art style and create berserk chapters faster
- the reason that the boat arc / the recent chapters have taken so long is because miura was having trouble transitioning to digital art:
