Brainiac’s Feelings

This little scene feels so important to me, because Brainiac jumping into Clark’s body gives us insight into the more subtle aspects of Brainiac’s feelings.

Like for all his intelligence and power he must not be used to having an actual face that can emote, because as we can see in the clip the Eye and eyebrow movement gives the fact that what he is saying is truly genuine away.

The way he gaze softens for a moment as he looks at Kara’s tear stricken face before it closes off and he attacks her.

I got more of Brainiac’s true thoughts and feelings from his face than his words and I think that is amazing storytelling.
