Crowley/Nanny Ashtoreth Headcanon
After rewatching the show and focusing more on the character(mostly Aziraphale and Crowley) instead of the plot. I realized that Aziraphale and Crowley switched jobs that they would presumably do much better. Angels are usually perceived as kind, loving, and nurturing so it would be assumed that Aziraphale would do well taking care of a child. While Crowley, whose hobby is taking care of plants, would work well as the gardener. That made me wonder why their roles were switched. Maybe Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett thought it would be a funny thing to write or if there was something deeper.
Personally, I think Crowley made the decision to be the nanny because he had a natural connection with kids. Compared to most demons, Crowley is more mischievous with his work, similar to children that play pranks. I also headcanon that Crowley has unresolved trauma from his Fall because he saw God as a parent. This further convinces me of my opinion. Maybe Crowley sees himself in children- innocent and curious who are susceptible to “bad crowds” and suffering. With Aziraphale, I think he likes kids but would feel uncomfortable taking care of them because he seems to prefer being on his own reading books or enjoying a meal with Crowley. Plus, taking care of plants would be easier since he can miracle them to be healthy if he messes up.
I also think it should touch on their lives especially Adams considering HES THE FUCKING ANTICHRIST even if he did deny his “father” we saw at the end that he got to keep his powers and i think we al know he’s going to abuse the shite out of them.I also think it would be really funny to see mariel meet satans son.
In all honesty i think they should have been apart of the storyline in season two or at least Adam should have been.
One thing I know for certain is that I’d LOVE to see Adam and Anathema and Newt again in season 3. Like imagine them coming in to check on those silly celestial beings that helped them stop Armageddon only to see the dumpster fire their relationship has become?? Not to mention THE SECOND COMING??

Crowley and Aziraphale bring the THEM to the arcade and the demon learns an important lesson. Never EVER challenge Aziraphale to a shooting game. He might not like guns, but it doesn't mean he can't use them UwU

I HATE DOING COMICS!!! I can't draw fast, they look sloppy and not good at all... But the lockdown thing was too cute and the prop for today was unexpected so...
CONTRAST
Allow me to explain this drawing a little. Although it's a pretty simple drawing, it has a lot of meaning to me. There is symbolism in it. This is how I see Aziraphale and Crowley at the beginning.
On one side we have Aziraphale. A pure being, an Angel, who is tilted completely towards his the light of God, the "Heaven side". And yet he doesn't look at it, he looks a little towards us, humans. He has compassion for us, he cares, more than he should. He is also not smiling at all. Yes he is an angel, he knows they are the good guys, but why killing so many people? Why banishing Adam and Eve for an apple? He trusts God, but doesn't understand.
On the other side we have Crowley, in the Shadow, in God's (and Aziraphale's) shadow. He is a demon, who is not welcome in the light. He doesn't look at his own side either, his all body is actually a little tilted towards us. Hell is ok but he likes humans more, he like earth, he is fond of us. He doesn't care much about his side, although he definetely doesn't care about Heaven either. And he is smiling because he likes the gray area he is in.

Aziraphale, protector of the Eastern Gate of Eden
Today I was drawing Aziraphale, a simple pose, nothing difficult, just to work on the way I draw him. It took me HOURS.
The problem is that Crowley to me is so easy to draw, whether I draw him full anime or semi realistic, you can clearly see it's Crowley. With Aziraphale on the other hand, I can't find the right amount of "real". Too anime makes him look extremely young, which I don't like. Too realistic clashes with how I draw Crowley and takes WAY more time. So here it is. It's not bad, but I'm not fully committing to this style yet... I need some practice .-.
A "draw this in your style" piece that took me a few hours to make. I still don't love the way Aziraphale looks -_- I need to work on him more. Anyway the artist who made the original piece is "pampd_illustrations" on Instagram! She is currently making a whole comic where Crowley is a merman and Aziraphale is a sailor! Crowley, before his Bentley, had to go around on huge black horses with red eyes. And he used to fall because he is not good with animals! I'm so happy about this I don't know why xD
