Congratulations for the 100 followers, Pandoa! It was so difficult to decide a character but I'll go with Silver for this one. So I choose lilacs and violets for Silver with the theme of ballroom waltz. I thought picking up the forest would be a little cliche and I always loved the end of Sleeping Beauty as a kid. As I said other times, take your time to write it! Hope you're well and everything is fine <3

♡a dream with your eyes open♡

You and Silver had every person in the royally grand ballroom captivated by your darling waltz. Throughout the polished floors of Briar Valley’s refined palace, the both of you glided across the room, twirling with no other care in the world like two flowers swaying in the whistles of a soft breeze. Each person’s attention was focused on you and him—and you and him alone. Entranced by the way your dress had glimmered and shined underneath the palace’s chandeliers with every twist Silver had whirled you in, the other attendees of the ball stepped back in amazement with your elegance, giving you more space to continue your little dance—although you both had not noticed. Simply watching the two of you become lost in each other’s movements filled them with life. It was as if a desirable spell was cast to enthrall them with your fairness and Silver’s princely nature, and they were falling directly into it.

Dancing with Silver had been like soaring on a delicate cloud in the sky. He gently grasped your hand in his as he guided you over to the other side of the ballroom, swiftly and smoothly, with every step of his landing with the softness of a woodland bluebird. Every movement of his was done so balletically, with him skillfully shuffling his feet to the rhythm of the music and you following beside him admiring the boy’s enchanting aura. However, do not be fooled by his poised disposition. A small, barely even noticeable, rosy-tint formed on Silver’s cheeks as it was the first time he had ever waltzed with someone so… passionately. It made him move with a little more handsomeness, speak with a little more sophistication, and even made him feel like he could overcome his usual sleepiness with the unexplainable amount of energy his feelings had given him. You were just so charming to be around—he couldn’t help but admire you the way he did.

Breaking the comfortable silence between the two of you, Silver had decided to fill it with a few spontaneous words of his thoughts. The young man felt it was the perfect moment to directly show you just how much he cared for you, and what better way to do it than to say it out straight like the honorable guard he was?

“You are my first,” Silver suddenly whispered into your ears as he spun you back into his arms, still swaying to the orchestral symphony performing for the palace’s ball, “Allow me to be your only.”

“Do you really mean that?” you curiously questioned his endearing statement.

“Of course I do. Has there ever been a time where I’ve lied to you?”

“No,” you quickly replied with a small smile, peering up to Silver’s auroral eyes that looked back at you with a certain gleam to their light, “never.”

Silver, upon hearing your satisfying answer, continued to then gracefully stabilize his hold on your waist and slowly dipped you towards marble tiles of the ballroom floor in a grand conclusion to your dance. People were heard applauding your performance while you were left flustered at the way your chest was pressed up against his own, with your close proximity and his embrace on your body preventing you from completely collapsing to the ground.

You gazed up at him, feeling exhilarated. “If only this dream would never end.”

“Even if it did end, I’d still love you just as much when I awake,” the princely man in front of you replied as he lifted you back up to stand on your own. “The way I did in a dream, in some time, in some way.”

“You know what I’d do, yes?”
