yeji’s reaction to walking in on you changing your clothes

a/n: hello angels !! not to be sappy or anything, but thank you all so so much for supporting my blog despite me being so inconsistent with posting. everytime someone likes or reblogs my post, or follows me, it fills my heart with so much joy. i’m so happy that people enjoy the content that i put out and i appreciate each and every one of you.

it was probably "itzy family movie night/sleepover!!" (as baby yuna would call it) at the dorm and as the girlfriend of yeji, you were invited

it was your first time ever spending the night at the dorm and you were nervous, despite yeji trying to convince that you had nothing to worry about

“what could go wrong? the girls love you... i love you!! it’s going to be fun. yuna INSISTED on you coming over.”

although she did a great job at hiding it from you, yeji was equally as nervous

but none of that mattered now

you had just taken a shower and had retreated to the shared room of yeji and ryujin to change into your pjs

chaeryeong and yuna were in the kitchen popping the popcorn, ryujin was teasing lia about something silly in the living room, and yeji was still deciding on which movie to watch

she stood near the television, multiple dvds in hand as she turned each one over and reread the descriptions

“haven’t you read all of those about twenty times by now?” lia teased, coming up behind the indecisive girl and setting a hand on her shoulder as she gave her a warm smile

yeji nodded, “i just can’t seem to get my thoughts together.”

“why don’t you just go ask y/n? i’m sure she has much better taste than you anyways.” ryujin grinned as yeji playfully rolled her eyes and lia turned to shove ryujin

yeji turned back to the basket of dvds and smiled, picking up some of them up and hurrying her cute little self to come find you

she probably would just yeet the door open, still looking down at the dvds while you're having a panic attack, reaching for your towel and trying to cover up

"hey babe, i can't decide on a movie so which one would you like to..."

she probably would have kept blabbing if she wouldn't have finally looked up and realized the situation

"oH MY GOSH I'M SO SORRY!" she squeals as her face heats up and her cheeks start burning red

she tries her hardest but she can't contain her smile and cute little giggles as she covers her eyes and excuses herself from the room and shuts the door

she tries to shake the image from her head as she walks back to the living room, but just ends up sitting on the couch in a heavenly daze

JUST WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BE THE PRETTIEST HUMAN BEING PUT ON THIS PLANET?? AND HOW DID SHE GET SO BLESSED TO HAVE YOU AS HER BABY??

once you're clothed, you make your way to the living room and take a spot next to yeji

she tries her best to avoid eye contact with you and stares blankly ahead at the tv screen

you roll your eyes playfully and snuggle closer to her, letting her know that no harm was done

she makes a mental note to herself to ALWAYS knock before entering

a/n: i’m only going to do 00 line for this because i don’t know how you all will feel if i do the baby line (especially yuna).

you were babysitting your neighbor's five year old hyperactive daughter until she got off of work at 8 p.m.

you had finally gotten her to calm down a bit in the living room with a coloring book and some crayons

you sat down on the couch to rest a bit when you received a phone call

realizing it was from your beloved girlfriend, you quickly answered the phone

"hey y/n! i was just calling to see if you're ready for our date, what time should i pick you up?"

you mentally face palmed and sighed

you had completely forgotten all about your date with lia

“lia bia i'm so sorry! i forgot that we had a date planned, and i took a job babysitting for my neighbor."

it was quiet on the other line for a few seconds before she finally broke the silence

"hey, it's okay! we can always reschedule. you sound tired though, is everything okay?"

you almost snorted at the question

you had been running around after the little girl and cleaning up her messes all day

you were exhausted and a bit sweaty and stinky to be honest

once you were finished telling each other about your days, you both hung up, but you were left feeling a bit guilty

you certainly didn't expect her to be so understanding about the whole situation

how did you get so lucky to have her?

you decided to return to the living room and help sujin color in her coloring book

just as she was in the middle of scolding you for coloring outside of the lines, you heard the doorbell ring

you playfully stuck your tongue out at sujin and she returned the action as you got up to open the door

lia was standing on the doorstep with some of her old toys, movies, and some yummy snacks

she smiled brightly, "need a hand?"

you grinned, pulling her in for a hug and letting her step inside the house, hearing sujin still running her little mouth

“awh is that the little angel?” lia asked, taking off her shoes and setting them at the door

“more like little demon” you chuckled, taking her hand and leading her to the living room

you introduced lia to sujin and you were thrilled when sujin adored lia within the first few seconds of them being introduced

“so you’re y/n’s girlfriend? i feel bad for you, she can’t even color inside of the lines.” sujin said, eyeing you as you stood behind lia, playfully rolling your eyes

lia laughed, going over to sit next to the little demon- I MEAN LOVELY CHILD 🥰 and inspect the coloring page for herself

“y/n why didn’t you ever tell me you were such a coloring catastrophe?” she mocked in a playful tone as you grinned

watching lia be so great with sujin made your heart warm, and you couldn't imagine a better person to call your girlfriend

with lia on the scene, it gave you a chance to take a breather and lia suggested you take a shower and change your clothes

“go ahead! sujin and i will start putting this puzzle together and put in a movie."

“yeah, and besides, you’re stinky.” sujin teased, pinching her nose and pushing you to the bathroom

once you were finished taking your shower, you retreated back to your room to change into a clean set of clothes

you had been gone for quite a while so lia decided to come check on you

"hey babe, i was going to put in a pizza! do you want cheese or pepperoni?" she asked, opening the door much to your horror

you froze in place as she looked over your body, coming to the realization that you hadn't finished getting dressed

you started to get a little insecure since lia had never seen you this way, and you wondered if she would think your body wasn't pretty enough for her

as if she could read your mind, she smiled softly and walked over to you, cupping your face in her hands

she looked you in the eyes and whispered to you how beautiful you were and how much she loved you

it made your heart swell with love and appreciation for your girlfriend

she pressed a soft kiss upon your lips and then pulled away, "now finished getting dressed so you can help sujin and i finish our puzzle!"

you were a former jyp entertainment trainee and you were one of the best dancers on your team along with the chae sisters and yeji

since you had only been a trainee for a few months, but had already practically perfected your technique, and was constantly being praised by everyone around you, chaeryeong found herself harboring toxic feelings towards you and becoming jealous out of insecurity

not only were you absolutely GORGEOUS (that’s right bitches y’all are gorgeous so stop lying to yourselves) but you were also insanely talented

you were a phenomenal dancer, had beautiful vocals, and your rapping was pretty great as well

the other trainees recognized you as the “ace” female trainee and that hit chaeryeong like a punch to the face

thankfully, chaeyeon quickly recognized her younger sister’s feelings towards you and stopped her before she said or did something she would regret

chaeyeon encouraged her to try her best to become friends with you instead of causing herself to be angry with you over something out of your control

taking her sister’s advice, the little darling shyly asked you to hang out with her after practice one day

and she was ever so glad that she did

after that, you both were almost inseparable and were always there for each other

you were there for each other when you both didn’t make it into twice, and chaeryeong stuck by your side when you finally decided to leave jyp ent. for a different company

and now it was time for you to be there for her once again

it was a few weeks after itzy’s iconic debut and you were sitting on your bed studying for a test while chaeryeong stood at your dresser going through your makeup

you glanced at her every once in a while to see what products she was messing with and eventually your lips curved into a little smile

“you can’t have that lip gloss chaer, i just bought it yesterday!!” you giggled as she turned around with it clasped between her little hands as she made puppy dog eyes at you

once she realized you weren’t going to change your mind she sighed and set it back where she had got it from

things quieted down a bit and you could tell something was bothering her, so you patted the spot next to you on the bed and motioned for her to sit down

“what’s wrong chaer?” you asked

she shook her head, staring down at her hands as they sat in her lap

she insisted that everything was fine and she was just tired from practicing so hard, but you could tell it was much more than that

not wanting to pressure her into opening up, you convinced her to let you do her makeup, thinking that the relaxed atmosphere would make her feel more at ease

after a minute she gently pushed your hands away from her face and looked down at her lap, a few tears falling from her pretty eyes

“yeongie please tell me what’s wrong.” you pleaded, setting a hand on her leg as you tried to comfort her

she wiped a few of her tears away and tried to regulate her breathing again before she looked at you

“why do people have to be so horribly mean?” she asked softly

your heart shattered into a million pieces and it felt as if you had just been shot in the chest

you pulled her closer, caressing her hair ever so softly and gently shushing her as she sobbed into your t-shirt

after a while, she pulled away, allowing you to wipe her tears away with your thumb before holding her pretty face in your hands

“it’s quite silly isn’t it? to let comments from strangers bother me so much.” she said lightly with a little chuckle, trying so hard to convince herself

“well i think that anyone who ever says anything nasty about you is just plain stupid.” you said, realizing once the words left your mouth that they weren’t as impactful as they had sounded in your head

chaeryeong giggled a bit at the sight of seeing you so fired up at the thought of someone saying mean things to her

you stood, going over to your dresser to pick a tube of lip gloss

sitting back down, you opened it, ready to apply it to her lips

“and why is that?” she asked, looking up at you with bright eyes

you started applying the lip gloss as you smiled and made eye contact with her, “because you’re the most beautiful girl i’ve ever had the pleasure of laying my eyes on.”

suddenly she found herself staring longingly at your soft lips as you stared back at hers

breaking the comfortable silence, you quickly pulled away, screwing the cap back on the lip gloss tube as you smiled nervously

you handed it to her, “i know i said you couldn’t have it, but i’ve changed my mind.”

“are you going soft on me y/l/n?” she said, eyeing you playfully

you rolled your eyes, “no, it’s just that it looks much better on you anyways. it’s hardly a color that would look nice on me.” you stated matter of factly

she grinned, “whatever you say, softie.”

you and ryujin became close friends after both being contestants on mixnine (heejin who??)

since you both were best friends, she honestly never expected to find herself in such a complicated situation

it all started when you saw one another at isac

you were walking around with one of your other idol friends when you noticed itzy was sitting close by

ryujin was too busy teasing felix for "copying" her hair color to notice you coming up behind her

you went over and tapped her lightly on the head, "why are you bullying felix?"

“he had the nerve to copy my hair color!" she pointed accusingly at the pink-haired boy as he rolled his eyes with a sigh

you rolled your eyes playfully before ruffling her hair, "in my opinion lixie wears it better!" you teased as she stuck her tongue out at you

you pushed her playfully before going to join your group, turning around to send a quick wink in her direction

she was caught off guard at the action and quickly turned her attention back to her victim as her cheeks turned bright red

"ooh does someone have a little crush?" felix teased as ryujin's eyes widened and she punched him in the arm

the next time you saw each other was when you came to visit itzy in their practice room while they were preparing for their "wannabe" comeback

you hadn't seen each other face to face in so long since your schedules often overlapped

so she was overjoyed to see that you were able to get away for a few hours and come visit her

being the curious person you are, you kept asking her to give a small spoiler for the choreography

after a few minutes of whining and poking her in the tummy, she finally gave in

"okay, okay!! but i'm only showing you the first part because it's my favorite." she winked

you squealed in delight as soon as she did the iconic shoulder move and you immediately wanted her to teach you how to do it as well

after many failed attempts, you finally fell to the floor laughing so hard that it made your stomach hurt

and that's when she knew that felix had been right after all

it confused her at first, considering that it was the same laughter she had heard over a million times before, but this time it hit differently

and from that moment on, she knew things would never be the same
