Danny Phantom Comics Rec List
While my own comic project “The Mistake” is on hiatus (you could read the prologue on Tumblr here and on A3O here) I will make a “long comics” rec post because maybe you saw it I love comics 💚 and I believe artists with so much passion need exposure and cheering

By @krossan, Legendary Destination (on going), do I really need to present this too ? Sequel of Phantom Planet, new story, new lore, new characters, old characters… Krossan is a pillar in the fandom. Each of their piece of art reek talent, hard work and passion, this comic it not an exception.

One of my first meeting with the creativity of the fandom and one artist that greatly influenced my art style. I will always deeply respect chicky who did so much for the Phandom and is an amazing artist.
By @promsien, Monsters Born (completed) (TW: blood), a Danny&Vlad bonding and action comic. Though they didn’t draw Danny Phantom anymore, I just can’t forget this one. Promsien is an incredible artist whose influence greatly shape the Phandom today. Another big art influence for me.
By @ep-10, Amity Thereafter (ongoing), I already reblogged a lot of ep-10′s posts so it’s not a secret that I love this comic :D Sequel of Phantom Planet and give a satisfactory continuity to a weak canon ending, but shonen style!! The panelling is very good and seriously gave me physical goosebumps several time, not even joking.

By @catesartworks, Phantom in the Mirror (on going), first timeline of “The Ultimate Enemy”. The style and texture is magical, and catsartworks is a magician who just- just- mastered the art of paneling and art symbolism. I haven’t other words to describe it, a pure black diamond in the desert.
By joe-the-hoe, Archetype (completed) (TW: body horror and gore), AU I can’t really explain without spoils, just read it. A bit weak for the art in the beginning, but with the pages we see how much the artist improve over the years and it’s beautiful. The comic, THIS comic, is what shaped my liking for horror genre and awake my love for those kind of dp fics. I’m not kidding, this one is my favorite, my GOAL in term of art style, story, panelling and comic quality, and my fav piece of fandom’s work (with Darker Yet Darker by Sansybones).
By Kuro the Artist, 5 Year Later (on going), 5 years after Phantom Planet, crossover between Ben 10 and Danny Phantom. I don’t very like crossovers, but this deserves a big look. Kuro is another amazing artist and a very kind heart, give it a try if you want to see the clash between 2 different universe from 2 different cartoon channels.
