Not me listening, once again, to chariot by Jacob Lee and imagining a Saileen wedding where Jack’s the flower boy and Garth’s daughter is the ring bearer and Jack comes out to like a fourth of the way down the aisle and just dumps the entire basket on the ground and Dean has to run over to him and Jack’s like “am I in trouble?” But dean assured him he’s not and helps him to scoop as much of the petals as they can back into the basket and helps him properly spread them and of COURSE Bobby officiates and of COURSE Crowley acts like a drunken jealous ex the entire time and at the end when Eileen throws the bouquet she specifically yells “Hey Dean this is for you you lonely bitch!” And YEETS it aggressively at him so dean catches it and Cas comes towards him with a questioning look before dean rolls his eyes and pulls him into a kiss before separating and going “welp, looks like we’ve got a gay wedding to plan” and everyone laughs and then jack runs up to them and goes “My daddies are getting married??” And Dean’s like “yeah squirt we’re getting married, your daddies are getting married!” And also Claire and Kaia smoosh cake in eachother’s faces I’m so soft 🥺

Why…why was Derek Dean’d?!?! Neither one deserved it! (I know why, terrible writers that wanted to kill the main fan ship) (that or now with everything going on, the writers were probably weren’t paid enough)
The fact being that this makes Stiles his Castiel hurts too because:
We never gotten the closure that we needed and wanted from his character
He gave the person he loves a personal item of his that he cares about because he knew the other person would take care of it (until the day they die)
He wasn’t there when the love of his life sacrificed himself, but if he was, he would have stopped him/wouldn’t have wanted to end like that
He knew that they both loved each other but never gotten the chance to give a proper confession/allow the other person to confess their feelings back
…This is why fanfics are better than canon!

The park is quiet. Snow falls like someone turned the world’s volume down. The pine trees stand tall and still, dusted in white, and the old wooden bench creaks slightly beneath them. Dean shifts in his coat, pretending not to notice how close Cas is sitting. Cas, of course, doesn’t notice subtle things like “personal space.” Or maybe he does, and just doesn’t care. Dean’s fingers twitch beside Cas’s hand. He could say something. He could lean in. He could— Cas does it first. No warning, no angelic prelude. Just a soft press of lips, gentle and certain, like he’s known this was coming for years (because he has). Dean freezes for half a second — then kisses back, eyes fluttering closed, one hand finding Cas’s knee like he needs to anchor himself. They pull apart slowly, and Cas tilts his head like he’s analyzing Dean’s soul again. “That was acceptable?” Dean laughs, low and a little breathless. “Yeah, Cas. That was real damn acceptable.” They sit like that for a while — coats brushing, knees touching, hands loosely tangled on the bench that’s definitely too cold to sit on, but suddenly feels like the warmest place in the world. Somewhere in the distance, a car honks. The moment doesn’t break. Because for once, there's nothing chasing them. No apocalypse. No monsters. Just this. Snow, quiet. Them. And a kiss that finally, finally happened.

Funny Tropes I came up with: Part 1
(If people want to use this trope, go right ahead. I just want the fic links. 😁)
Drum Major x First Snare
For those who aren’t in band, or know nothing of band, or specifically Marching Band, I’ll clue you in.
The Drum Major is the highest elected student leader in the Marching Band, organizing everything the directors aren’t, from Bus forms, to making sure everyone has their shit, to keeping people on task in rehearsal, with their most commonly known task being conducting the band. Usually there are about two in a marching band, but there can be up to about four, maybe five, though I’ve never personally seen five in a band. This person is reliable, usually pretty organized to an extent, responsible, and all that other stuff.
The First Snare is the person who is the student leader of the drum line. This person keeps the tempo, with the drum line helping the band itself keeping time and not tearing up the sound. From what I can tell, drum players are either very chill, go with the flow, or completely in, nothing else matters but the band. There is no in between, but character stuff is pretty easy to change so, do what you want. 😆

Now, hear me out. What got me thinking about this, is that to keep the tempo steady, the Drum Majors who are leading the band watch the First Snare’s feet and hands. Which is how the band keeps tempo so well, since the drum majors are in sync with what the drum line is doing. See where I’m going with this?? First Snare flirts with the Drum Major, or the other way around, and something happens, badda-bing badda-boom. ‘Parents’ of the band the rest of the year.
Also, both positions are usually occupied by seniors. Do with that what you will.
Examples of the Ships I Would Personally Use for This Trope
Destiel (Dean Winchester x Castiel / Supernatural)
> I would put Castiel as Drum Major, and Dean as First Snare, because I would like Sam as the supportive younger brother who also wants to join Marching Band/drum line when he gets to High School. (Also back problems Dean, so.) Also Gabe as one of the other section leaders makes me happy.
Percabeth (Percy Jackson x Anabeth Chase /PJO)
> I honestly think it would be fun to put Percy as the really chill Drum Major, and Annabeth as the no nonsense first snare, but do with that what you will.
Bagginshield (Bilbo Baggins x Thorin Oakenshield /The Hobbit)
> Modern AU Hobbit my beloved. Anyways, I’m not sure who I would put where, because on the one hand, no nonsense drum major Thorin who lightens up when he meets First Snare Bilbo who tells him off when he’s too stern with one of the freshmen. On the other hand, stern but kind drum major Bilbo who is way too easily flustered when it comes to first snare Thorin, and gets teased by his friends in the band. Either way, I’d absolutely love it.
