the jubilant blare of party horns fills the room, mingling with the cheers and laughter of your friends. you glance up at the sky, sparkling with bright stars, as vibrant fireworks burst across the night. their dazzling colors paint the sky as their loud pops echo all around you.

finneas, your girlfriend's brother, pulls claudia into a warm embrace, pressing a tender kiss to the top of her head.

you smile at the heartfelt moment, but your attention shifts as familiar arms wrap around you, drawing you into their comforting warmth. turning, you meet billie’s gaze, her eyes shimmering with affection and love.

your hands instinctively cup her face, your smile radiant as she gently squeezes your hips.

"i love you so much, pretty girl," she says, her voice soft and heartfelt. her gaze flickers to your lips before locking onto your eyes again, sincerity etched across her features. she tilts her head and leans in, her lips capturing yours in a kiss both tender and passionate, overflowing with love.

"i love you too, billie," you murmur, your cheeks beginning to ache from the uncontainable smile she brings to your face. "so, so much."

her voice drops to a gentle whisper, filled with devotion. "i can't wait to spend another year with you—and forever, baby."

"forever," you echo, your heart swelling as her words settle into your soul.
