Fic Type: Oneshot Fandom: My Hero Academia Pairing: Tamaki Amajiki x Reader Prompts: Like the last one, this one is song inspired (c.o.a.p by billie) Word Count: 1,025 words A/N: Will I ever stop making Tamaki fics? No (yes I did reference that one episode on fairly odd parents, also your name oops)
The indigo-haired boy hid underneath the wooden dining table, hugging his knees to his chest to make himself smaller. "Tama! She won't bite!" He hears his mother's voice beckon out to him. He held himself tighter, never one for a new friend. Small footsteps made their way closer to him until he spotted a pair of azure boots in his line of eyesight. The girl dropped onto her knees, sporting a smile. She stretched out a hand to him. "Do you like heroes?"
The warmth he felt that day, radiating from her (e/c) eyes shining brightly at him. Hesitantly, he nodded and took her welcoming hand. Rather than pulling him out as he had expected, she sat down by his side, knees touching. He carefully watched her, trying to predict her next moves. She inspected the table they sat under. "We could make a fort!" -The way her face lit up, lit a fire in his chest. Scrambling out from their spot, she hauled him with her. "Find some blankets! I'll grab the pillows!" She kicked off her boots, running to the couches.
They met back at the table, β₯ dropped the pillows she was carrying onto the floor. Tamaki copied her actions, dropping the blankets he gathered. "Grab the other side," β₯ picked up the corners of the blanket, and Tamaki copied her motions. They draped the heavy comforter over the table, and the dining chairs to prop it up. β₯ pushed the pillows under the table, as well as the leftover blankets. Since that day, they would always hang out in their makeshift fort. From sleepovers to studying grade school assignments together, their fort became their haven.
Nevertheless, the unfavorable outcome happened. Her parents were moving to another city. Tamaki's mother broke the news to him, as you stood in the doorway, looking at him with glistening eyes. "Tama..." she handed him her favorite plush of All Might. "I'm sure we'll see each other again!" Despite the tears that freely flowed, she smiled brightly at him. His eyebrows fell, a lump in his throat forming. His only best friend is leaving. "Tama-sweetie, you need to say goodbye," His mother rested a tender hand on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly.
A few years have now passed, Tamaki was now one of the Big Three of UA. His parents constantly expressed joy for him, but he felt an emptiness within him. He laid on his flat mattress, staring a hole into the dorm's ceiling. "Amaji! Are you coming to the event?!" Hado pounded away at his door. Tamaki sat up, accidentally knocking over a small cabinet. "Give me a minute..." He answered, kneeling to pick up the scattered objects. Setting the textbooks back into the cabinet, he froze up when he saw the All Might plushie lying lifelessly on the floor.
"Tamaki! We're respecting your privacy by knocking, but asserting our authority as your friends by coming in anyways!" Mirio burst into the room, grinning at his friend. "You couldn't wait...?" Tamaki's eyes narrowed at his friends. The two of them glanced at each other before back at Tamaki and shrugged. "Look how cute!" Hado lunged to take the doll from his hands, however, he moved it away. "Let's just go to the thing..." They all nodded.
He stood with his back against the pillar, wishing that he stayed in his dorm. "Tamaki?" He directed his gaze toΒ β₯ , who was escaping the event as well. His eyes widened, meeting her (e/c) ones that welled up with tears. "How've you been?!" She grabbed his hands, squeezing them tightly. "Alright. What about you?" He took notice of her Shiketsu school uniform. "Ups and downs," she admitted. He hummed out in acknowledgment. "I've missed you!" Letting go of his hands, she buried her face in his chest. He placed a hand on her head, and another on the dip of her back. "I've missed you too..." Closing his eyes, he basked in her warmth that he yearned.
"Amazing! Who's this?" Hado's voice made him tense up. Β The action didn't go unnoticed by β₯ , as she immediately separated from him. " β₯ !" She stuck her hand out for the other girl to shake. Mirio and Hado exchanged a glance, taking in her uniform. Hado shook her hand, returning her smile. "I'm Hado- "You must be Tamaki's girlfriend!" She feigned happiness to cover the jealous that tugged at her heart. Mirio doubled over in laughter, as Hado and Tamaki frantically explained that they were just friends. "Sorry!" β₯ smiled sheepishly, grateful that they were only friends.
"Hado, I think we're being called!" Mirio grabbed Hado's shoulders and led her inside. β₯ and Tamaki's eyes met, laughing off the recent event. "You're still single?" She teased. "I-I'm single because I want to be!" He threw up his hands in defense. She giggled and elbowed his side. "What about you?" He shot back. "The same reason," she shrugged. His dark eyes studied her expression. "Do you still want to be...?" His hands shot up, covering his mouth. A look of surprise was evident on her face. "Well...there is someone I like." She played with her hands.
"Who is it?" He inquired, knowing there's a possibility that the answer will upset him. "Someone I was close with when I was younger," a small smile played on her lips. A light red color flushed his cheeks, as he pulled her close. Her hands rested on his chest, as he tilted her chin to make her look up at him. "Is that right?" He grinned at her. She nodded her head, standing on the tips of her feet to press a kiss on his cheek. Leaning down, he returned the gesture on her forehead.
In the distance, Mirio and Hado hid, holding a camera to record the cute moment between Tamaki and β₯ . "I knew it!" Mirio yelled, and Hado lightly smacked his head. "Shhh! We don't want them to know we're here!" "We can hear you." Tamaki's voice reached their ears, to which they fumbled with the camera, running inside while yelling out apologizes at their friend.
Fic Type: Drabble Fandom: My Hero Academia Pairing: Tamaki Amajiki Prompts: Inspired by billieβs song, i love you Word Count: 571 words A/N: Yβall know what time it is. Itβs sad boi hours w Tama
She stood outside on the balcony of her dorm room. She wrapped her arms around herself, hugging tightly. The small breeze caused her to shiver but provided a breath of fresh air. Her cheeks and nose were a rosy color from the coldness of the outdoors, as well as from crying. Just a few moments ago, β‘ stood in a small circle of her friends, Mirio, Hado, and Tamaki. Β Just then, she had messed up. "I love you," the words slipped out of her mouth on accident. Hado looked at her in shock then amazement, Mirio smiled warmly at her confession. However, the person she directed it towards, remained quiet, avoiding eye contact with her. The silence made the air thick with tension, causing her to uncomfortably shift her weight from one foot to another.
She muttered out an apology before dashing from the group up to the floor her dorm was on. Once she was behind closed doors, she held her chest tightly, her heart felt like it was breaking in the literal sense. It was nightfall now, a she stood against the glass sliding door. Inhaling a deep breath of cold air, the sensation felt refreshing in her lungs. Her device went on in her hand. She lifted it slightly so it would turn on by itself. 'Hey! Do you mind if we talked? -Hado.' Simply ignoring the message, she slid downwards against the sliding door until her bottom touched the pavement. She received a few more messages from Hado, and then Mirio. Ignoring them both, she dropped her head onto her knees, letting the tears fall freely.
A gently tapping against the glass door caught her attention. She turned around, eyes meeting indigo ones. He slid the door open, stepping out and taking a seat beside her. "What do you want?' Her question struck him sharply. "Did you mean it...?" His voice was small. She ran a hand through her hair, messing it up. "Yes...I shouldn't have said it though." He looked over at her, her eyes were focused on the pavement in front of her. Her face was scrunched up, full of regret and hurt. "β‘...I'm sorry." He inched closer to her, to which she inched away from him.
He paused and tried to grasp for words. Anything at all would help him at this point. But nothing crossed his mind. Instead, he grabbed her arm and pulled her into a hug. "Tamaki! Let me go," she struggled against his death grip. Soon she stopped fighting, rather, she slumped against him. His free hand ran up and down her back lazily, the other one held her close above her waist. "I love you." He admitted. She felt her eyes sting with tears as her expression softened. "Tama..." She wrapped her arms around his waist, move closer against him. He rested his chin on the top of her head as she nuzzled into his chest.
"Yes, bunny?" The nickname made her face heat up. She remained silent. Whether out of embarrassment or simply because she was enjoying the moment. "Can we go inside? It's cold." He chuckled and released her from his grip. Helping her stand up, they walk back into her dorm to lay down on her bed. She snuggled into his side, and he wrapped his arms around her. Kissing the top of her head, the rain softly hitting against the doors lulled them to sleep.
