Highlights of the “In-Character” portion of the Project Eden’s Garden AMONG US stream in no particular order:
Damon introducing himself as “the Ultimate Debater. A prodigy among prodigies. Someone who simply can’t be outmatched.” And everyone going dead silent before making fun of his egotistical ass
Eva hiding in the corner of the waiting room
Diana going to the corner of the waiting room with Eva to keep her company
Kai being the reason the stream started late because he couldn’t decide the perfect look for his Among Us character
All their little characters matching them so well; Wolfgang in a little suit, Grace with bunny ears, Wenona with bear ears, Tozu’s goat horns, etc, and Eva just having absolutely nothing on
Wolfgang and Jean not knowing how to play video games and just doing their best
How utterly excited Tozu is that everyone is playing a killing game and he gets to play too
Damon yelling OH GOD DAMMIT so bad the mic reverberated after Wolfgang killed him
Wolfgang being imposter, killing everyone, and going “that was fun! 🙂”, followed by Jean going “I didn’t know you had it in you!” and Wolfgang replying with “I didn’t know I had it in me either 🙂”

Wolfgang hitting Damon with “it’s just a game” when Damon was locked the fuck in on busting Wolfgang as imposter
Diana going for Tozu first as imposter and still being an absolutely terrible liar
Cassidy correct guessing Damon as the imposter begging him loudly not to kill her in voice proximity, so he actually can’t kill her anymore, so instead he scoffs and goes “wish” before trotting off
Damon being revealed as imposter last minute and Eva yelling about how she trusted him. Kai also being there.
Grace and Wenona very clearly not knowing how the game works but refusing to admit it

Hi again! It's the anon who requested the headcanons about the reader trying to comfort Damon. I loved how you did it at my request! That almost made me wanna cry 🥲
But anyway, can I request some headcanons on how Wolfgang, Kai, and Damon would kabedon the reader? Whether it's intentional or not is up to you. (Also, I'm kinda sorry for requesting Damon again because I love him so much 😅)

Wolfgang Akire:
This is frying me because I think his intentions weren't fully to fluster you but it's a convenient side effect
It was most likely to get your attention and tell you something without others hearing and that's what he'll tell you
He knows there are other methods that aren't nearly as embarrassing or intimate but obviously that wouldn't stop him
I don't think this just happens once, but it wouldn't happen frequently (almost like he doesn't want you getting used to it)
Sooner or later you'll catch him without a pure excuse...
Style: Very simple. Hand above your head with him looking down at you and his other hand carefully moving your face so he can whisper in the ear
Kai Monteago:
Absolute loser with no charisma
He'll try it because he thinks it's cool and then he'll accidentally trip on your foot and almost slam into you and then fall in the floor
Please help him, he's SO embarrassed
Don't even try to ask him what he was trying to do, he can't explain it without being embarrassed either
I don't think he'll try that again for a while

He might even shed a tear after he points you out
He would've tried to just wait for you to confess but it's going to end up that way if you don't
Like think about it, he didn't get along with anyone due to his own ego (whether or not the prologue statement was true), he lost the one person he was starting to somewhat consider as a friend, and now he loses his partner?
It would take everything within him to stop himself from asking "why would you do this?" while completing the timeline of the case
He really just doesn't want to believe that he lost someone again
He wonders if you did it because he wasn't a good partner but he's too stunned to ask and he'll probably never know
He wouldn't be able to watch the rest of your execution once he actually sees you start to get seriously injured. He'll genuinely have to look away
He would be so hurt. Every time something good or bad happens, he would ask himself what you would think about it as if you just went on a trip and aren't actually dead
He went back to 0 in terms of him being closed off. All that development left with you

Usually I kinda keep it vague if the asks don't mention if there's a killing game going on but this time I will say, this is in a canon situation
Damon Maitsu:
This rivalry either started with him outwardly detesting your talent in some way, or you acting like you're better than him
We know that he has a little issue with putting down people's talents so if you weren't ACTIVELY on a case where you're doing detective work then he's gonna question you
So there's a lot of potential for beef at the beginning
Plus he would SO get annoyed when you try to be more mysterious than him, but that only makes him more curious about you
So, he ends up seeking you out. If you're willing to talk to him, the furthest you two would get would be a simple conversation, nothing too meaningful
It seemed like he was trying to get information out of you during it but it's not like you wouldn't be observing him as well, and he knows that
That practice trial would almost seem like a competition from anyone elses point of view
It would seem like there was tension between you two for the start and you two would be racing to get to a correct conclusion
It would either take someone else's input or his own attempts at clarity after the trial to realize that the whole thing was extremely draining and dramatic for seemingly no reason
After that you might see him back down a little bit and actually try working with you
He knows that there's probably something behind your stoic demeanor and if he has to share a bit of information about his own life to get past that, then he will
It goes from challenge to tolerance to interest really quick. Or is it that the interest was always there?
It would take quite a bit of sacrifice (Damon letting go of his ego and stubbornness and you putting your walls down) to get to actually talking to each other normally but it would eventually happen
We know he's not big on gaming but he felt like he reached a checkpoint when you actually smiled at him or put your hand on his shoulder
He would become very easy to fluster and might act a bit snappy to try and "protect himself", but you know better. Just let him act that way until he allows himself to accept that he likes you. He would be in denial for soooo long atp just confront him. Kiss him to get him to shut up. SOMETHING.

Reader Comforting Damon After a Bad Day
When Damon storms into your home, his shoulders are stiff, dark circles adorn his eyes, and his breath is tense.
You call his name, concern fills your voice as you stand up from where you’d been sitting.
This couldn’t be the same as his usual grumpy demeanor, especially not with the hour being so late for him to arrive.
He snaps that nothing’s wrong, he’s fine as he quickly walks past you.
You roll your eyes as he obviously is not fine. Damon’s never been one for talking about his problems, and you couldn’t just let him sulk alone for hours.
So you call his name again, this time reaching for his hand.
He flinches in surprise and initially jerks his hand back, but doesn’t lose your grasp.
"Damon…I can’t let you carry this burden alone. Please, let me help you." You say, still gently holding his hand in yours.
He immediately opens his mouth to pose a counterargument, but all he lets out is a soft sigh, seemingly realizing your genuineness to help him.
"Why do you even bother?" he asks, his voice not particularly harsh as before.
"You’re important to me, Damon. I care about you…” you assure him.
“Of course I know that you care…” He hates to feel so vulnerable, but after dwelling in that thought, he curls his fingers around your hand still grasping his.
"...I’ll never understand you." he mutters. Though perhaps that'll be challenge he’ll be up for.

I swear if you don't initiate anything it almost doesn't look like the two of you are dating
If you're generally antisocial the only way someone could tell is because he hangs out with you a lot
Because I feel like there would just be a lot of sitting in silence if you're not talking (in public) and he honestly doesn't mind that too much
I feel like PDA isn't something that he's too into

He's one of those people that would see something off with your hair/clothes and fix it without you asking
You could be mid conversation and he just says "wait... but keep talking" before he moves in to adjust something
He might flinch if you do the same (he'll let you but he just isn't expecting it)
He usually gives you a kiss on the cheek as a goodbye
If someone points it out, he might back off of that habit for a bit, but he might still do something subtle like squeezing your hand instead
He loves it when you lean your head on his shoulder. He might pout a little but he will NOT move you
You might find him absentmindedly playing with your hair or the end of your sleeve from time to time
This man is a STARER
If he's not talking to you he's looking at you
His favorite time is before bed when you're cuddling and you two just talk about people
Literally his one moment of peace is when he's hating with you. Even if you aren't hating, he gets to see your perspective on things and he loves that
The conversations aren't always about people either. He might bring up something really random and philosophical (babe your talent is showing) instead

If you thought he was closed off before, you haven't seen the lengths he can go to
I think he would feel the strong urge to isolate himself but given his situation, he knows it's not the smartest so a lot of his actions are going to be conflicting
It's going to take him about for him to actually accept being comforted
It's only going to take him a bit because he hasn't processed yet and he has no clue what he wants
Literally no attempts you make will snap him out of it till he processes the situation fully
He'll literally just stare at you dully after every attempt till he gets his shit together
He'll actually get upset because he feels like he should be the one comforting you instead
He'll be a lot more talkative after just for your sake. He wants to make sure you're okay after so many failed attempts at trying to comfort him
I did say he doesn't initiate physical touch most of the time but this would be the exception
He would constantly have an arm around you or a hand on you
Mostly for his sake tbh. It's almost as if he wants to make sure that you're still with him
He'll also stick to you like white on rice. It's a strange sight to see but until the two of you are alright, that's how it's going to be
I don't think he'll want to talk about it much just because he knows that it'll eventually happen again and it'll just get worse (he's stubborn). Plus, if he thinks that talking about it will make YOU upset, there's no way in the world it's happening
He's just trying to figure everything out, and so are you. It's going to be strange but if that's what the two of you need to get through that, then so be it
