There’s this idea that Enjolras is this man who is so stoic and full of Righteous Anger(TM) and is just done 100% with idiocy, and while yes, I can see how that came about, but like,

Enjolras in the brick is just so thoughtful about everything he does, and cares deeply about everyone around him. He treats everyone equally and fairly and lovingly.

He’s just lost in his own thoughts half the time, and just loves to watch his friends joke and have fun, and just cares so much, but also can have tunnel vision and isn’t that great with assessing the relative normal response to things and ends up being chaotic.

Please just give me an Enjolras that loves and cries and feels so so deeply, and may seem scary or quiet but is actually so thoughtful of others and actually kind of lacking in common sense and wants to be seen as human and be able to open up to people and show them that he has flaws and faults and is human.

AI tech scores babeyy. nathan Chen is put on trial for war crimes (fucking basic-ass costumes) and declared not guilty, while vera wang is called to the stand and charged with dressing him in galaxy print. evgenia, now with bionic joints, teleports into the middle of the ladies event and wins gold. She, Yulia and Alina start a support group for teenage russian figure skaters. Eteri is put on trial for child abuse and excommunicated. She pays fifty million dollars to everybody ever associated with her. 

Life is good.

jason and damian interacting with each other and showing a strong brotherly bond gives me life

NO LITERALLY. LET ME TALK ABOUT THIS.

Let me start off with THAT comic panel ( I totally forgot what issue it’s from.) Damian calls Jason the most emotional out of every brother and HUGS HIM. LIKE. I know it was to distract him but I don’t care, I know deep down Damian wanted that hug and there’s no fighting me on it.

Also, if anyone has read the Wayne Family Adventures on WEBTOON, I love their interactions. Honestly, I’m really not a big fan of Damian by himself, but when he interacts with Jason I like him. To me, their relationship just makes them look a like normal older-brother younger-brother dynamic and it is so sweet. You don’t really see Jason connect with the other boys like he does with Damian, maybe save Dick on some rare occasions; that really shows you just how much of a bond they have even if it’s not explicitly said.

One last thing I have to add about them is in my personal opinion, I think Damian enables Jason to feel like he’s young again, and the other way around. Elaborating on this, Jason obviously didn’t have the best childhood in any universe, so having the chance to interact with a sibling and actually have fun must be so relieving on both ends. Damian was also isolated from the moment he was born, so being able to have a brotherly bond with Jason is actually so cute and I will never get over it.

But you know who did? His slave, Cato.

Cato was a courier and spy, helping gather and pass on vital intelligence to Hamilton, their contact at Washington’s camp. He’d be sent to a shop with tailoring ads to translate into German for the Hessian soldiers where he’d meet with a fellow spy Heym Salomon. He would then return back with translations and information which would be hidden in packages containing clothing.

As Mulligan’s tailor shop catered to high end British officers, many soldiers had seen Cato running errands for him before and didn’t expect a black man to be the one passing intelligence on George Washington. This meant he could cross the Hudson River without seeming too suspicious.

He was even jailed and interrogated after some suspicions did arise about Hercules Mulligan’s activities and the deliveries but didn’t talk. He also was the one who delivered the messages which helped foil a plan to kill George Washington.

Tl;dr – Cato didn’t even get a single mention in Hamilton and because he was a slave he’s been almost brushed out of history. Just know that he was every bit as important as Hercules Mulligan and deserves to be known.
