are the rats & possums in the same mod? Im assuming the dinos are separate lmao but will they be compatible? Idk how mods work actually so sorry if thats a stupid question. also whats the third mod you mention in your bio?

hey thanks for the ask! i’m currently working on 3 mods- one about nature and stuff (naturality), one about mythological creatures (mythos), and one about prehistoric animals! mythos is the one i’m still cookin’ up, the one in my bio! hopefully, all mods will be compatible with not just each other but with other mods.

what i mean by that is they might have cross-compat with other mods (like Vazkii’s Quark) and with themselves (Prehist deinon eats Natur rat).

and yes, Possum and Rat/Mouse are all from naturality! bonus fact- all of these mods are gonna be on 1.20.1 to begin, but will hopefully be back ported to 1.18 and 1.16.5! the only requirements for these bad boys is an animation engine called GeckoLib, which is necessary because the 3D program i use (Blockbench) isn’t the best for rigging and animation (gotta do some trigonometry). feel free to ask me some more stuff!

the carpet can be dyed , and depending on which animal you ride ( big battle-dinos use dinosaur-leather ) , the leather will either be normal orangish MC leather or this kind , dinosaur-leather ! bosses also drop special saddles if that interests you !

the borders don’t change per se , but may hue-shift to match the carpet color !

additionally , on this guy the extra carpet is equippable - you can see it on the tail and neck - normally an animal just has a saddle-blanket style carpet !!

Introducing the Bissekty dromaeosaur ( again ) ! This heavy-built raptor is an adventurer's best friend . Tamed only through hatching its egg , Bissekties make for valuable mounts when befriended .

one last lil gift for you all- POSSUM CONCEPT for naturality mod!!!! possums are befriended by feeding them (and tamed by obtaining their babies from a nest)! they make for good companions- they can hitch a ride on your shoulder, bring you trash, and hiss at danger. oh yeah, and when perturbed, they play dead by exploding in a poof of white smoke. cool lil dudes!!
