one of my favourite things to do in bg3 is opening the battle at moonrise towers with jaheira casting ice storm on all of them like the badass she is.

iiiiii am working on That Long And Terrifying Alternate Timelines Fic as we all know and in the process of writing last night i had to come up with kids for jaheira/khalid, and only one of them actually shows up in the fic, which is so fucked up that i had to create a quick and fun visual aid for all of them. my cursive is questionable in places so here they are in order of age :)

rion, harper, a little blunt but actually very sweet despite appearances (she's the one who shows up in the fic !!!)

hazel, druid, inherited a lesser version of khalid's stutter, very very very much like her dad in first-glance temperament but with a lot of her mom's marshmallow core. so basically the softest girl ever

elowen, bard, i feel like every family needs That Inexplicable Artsy One, really looks up to a family friend who never stopped singing ...

cyprus, adventurer, pretty much just a carbon copy of jaheira, genuinely professionally annoying, khalid is always calling him "the sweetest and most perfect boy" because he is Pretty Much Just A Carbon Copy Of Jaheira

liora, on god i truly do not believe jaheira/khalid would have children without having at least one of them be some sort of professional criminal

ennir, not TECHNICALLY a wizard because he's still working through a lot of issues with his stutter (which is as intense as khalid's) but he's got a real passion for the weave & a very compassionate dad who really wants to support him in an attempt to figure it out, SOOOO

Gorion finds Iloben and takes him in.

Khalid joins the Calimport Militia.

Jaheira joins the Harpers in Athkatla, sponsored by Dermin Courtierdale.

Khalid is found by Harpers and leaves Calimport to join the Harpers in Athkatla.

Khalid is captured and tortured by Zhentarim.

Gorion, Jaheira, and two other Harpers are assigned to rescue him.

The Time of Troubles.

Khalid and Jaheira are married in The Dalelands.

Gorion is murdered and Sarevok tries to set Baldur’s Gate and Amn against each other in war in hopes of pleasing Bhaal through all the murder. He is stopped by Iloben, Imoen, Khalid, Jaheira, Dynaheir and Minsc.

Iloben tries to join the Harpers but is rejected for being ‘out of balance.’

Caelar Argent starts her crusade and is stopped by Iloben, Imoen, Khalid, Jaheira, Dynaheir and Minsc.

Irenicus captures them all. Iloben and Imoen are tortured and experimented on, Khalid is tortured in front of Imoen as one of the experiments. Jaheira and Minsc are kept captured, but are mostly unharmed. Dynaheir is killed.

They all escape (including Khalid) when Shadow Thieves attack Irenicus’ dungeon.

Khalid lost the abilities of his legs but was (mostly) healed by clerics in the Harper hold in Athkatla. (He stays there for the entirety of bg2 because he is too weak to fight.)

Iloben and Nalia marry for convenience but start dating properly not long after.

Irenicus and Bhodi steal Iloben’s and Imoen’s divine souls but are killed and they are returned.

Amelyssan makes all the Bhaalspawn fight and kill each other in attempt to become the new God of Murder, but is stopped by Iloben, Imoen, Jaheira, Nalia, Minsc, and Aerie.

Iloben gives up his essence of Bhaal and lives with Nalia in De’Arnise keep.

Khalid and Jaheira leave the Harpers to focus on his recovery.

1374dr (not sure if this is canon but it's the only date I could find)

Khalid and Jaheira rejoin the Harpers to fight against Ketheric.

Ketheric is killed, The Shadow Curse starts and Reithwin falls.

1396dr

Khalid and Jaheira have their first and only biological child who they named Elmae.

They (temporarily) take a break from the Harpers to raise her.

1416dr

Khalid and Jaheira rejoin the Harpers

1419dr

Tirana (Tav) is born.

1432dr

Iloben dies of natural causes and Bhaal is reborn.

1451dr

Dayis (The Dark Urge) is made by Bhaal.

1465dr

Jaheira becomes High Harper of Baldur’s Gate

1468dr

Jaheira finds Rion as a baby and takes her in alongside Khalid.

1478dr

Khalid and Jaheira adopt Jord at age 5.

1489dr

Khalid and Jaheira adopt Jhessem at age 8.

Khalid and Jaheira adopt Fig at age 7.

1491dr

Khalid and Jaheira adopt Tate at age 8.

1492dr

The events of Baldur’s Gate 3 take place.

Boo got hurt in battle and Jaheira fixed him up, Boo is not please to say the least.

Khalid is holding him up because Minsc was too worried to hold still.
