I may be crazy but I swear I had jaheira and Gale in my party once after reading the book of karsus but before meeting Mystra I think jaheira said something like “you seek to a god Gale? The mad mage Irenicus had a similar goal” and Gale responds in his usual nerdy Gale manner “oh yes using a bhaalspawn is a novel idea” and jaheira hits him with “he captures my friends and I, tortured us and killed my husband” and Gale immediately backtracks “I meant very bad and awful” so this bumps Khalid mentions to:
