Journal Entry- Intro

Hi! I am starting this personal journal because of my English class. I love to write, and do not take advantage of free writing, and hopefully by doing this I can share the many ideas inside mt brain, my feelings, and the most random shit ever! I wonder if this will ever get like “big”!? That would be extremely cool, and I think it would allow me to meet a ton of new people. 

Anyways, I wanted to share that I hung out with a boy that I have been contacting for a little over a year now. It was a genuine interaction was was really nice, and not just a quick hu and never seeing each other again.  Like we didnt even kiss till he walked me out- WHICH WAS CUTEEEEEEEE. 

Oh, also, my name is Luke! I am a freshman in college, and am a special education and elementary education major! I live my life with confidence, kindness, love, and kicking ass! Where my empaths at?? I love fashion, video games, this beautiful planet, and many many other things!

Rosemary is associated with Hebe and Aphrodite.

Carrying a sprig of rosemary protects from the evil eye.

Rosemary attracts Faeries and good luck.

A bundle of rosemary is hung over cradles to prevent Faeries from stealing infants.

Rosemary is an embalming and sacred herb in Egypt.

Rosemary is also sacred to Greeks.

Rosemary can be used in spells for fidelity and remembrance as well as to get rid of jealousy.

Rosemary can be used for ritual baths and for making herbal water for ritual cleansing, blessing, and purification.

Taking a rosemary bath will enhance your memory.

Burn rosemary incense when you are meditating or doing dream work.  

Place rosemary under your pillow to help you remember your dreams and to keep away nightmares and any unwanted night visitations.

Rosemary is a protective herb and can be used to make a protection wreath that keeps evil out.

Rosemary is also associated with love, friendship, and remembrance.

Use rosemary in spells that help boost your memory.

In England, it was burned in the homes of those who had died from illness, and placed on coffins before the grave was filled with dirt.

Burn rosemary to rid a home of negative energy, or as an incense while you meditate.

Hang a bundle above your door to keep evil and unwanted visitors out of your house.

Ward Types and Components

For the purpose of this article, “ward” is defined as: a wall of energy with a purpose. These are different types of protective wards and components. 

Anti-Detection: Prevents you/your area from being sensed by hostile forces in the first place. 

Reflection Ward: Repels any outside magical attacks.

Wall Ward: Simply prevents entry/provides a barrier, just like a regular physical wall does. 

Offensive Ward: Damages the intruder upon entry/touch. 

Redirect portal: Entering this ward will teleport the intruder to another place. 

Illusion Wards: Mess up the intruder’s senses in some way. Can make the ward much thicker than it seems to be, or even cast the illusion of being somewhere else. 

Binding Wards: Condense into a binding that will limit the intruder’s ability in some way. 

Minor Hex/Debuff: Cast a curse on the intruder. This can be temporary, wearing off as soon as the intruder leaves or a short time afterwards, or permanent (as can be). 

Sensor:  This component senses anything and feeds that information to the other wards/to other security systems in place. 

Warnings: A ward component whose only purpose is to warn the intruder. This component contains a prerecorded message. Usually of impending doom if the intruder proceeds. 

Energy Drainer: A component that drains the energy of the intruder, so as to tire them out. Can also be used to redirect hostile energies elsewhere, where it cannot harm you.

How to Feel Like an Ethereal Priest/Priestess ♡✨

- Embrace the everyday notion of “πανεμορφη,” or “panemorfi” (the Greek term for “beautiful”), finding the exquisite within all that you possibly can 

- Seek out opportunities for ritual in your everyday life, allowing space for more moments of reflection, gratitude, and strengthening 

-  Search for messages from your dreams - forming a prophetic bond with your own soul and intuition - and write your ideas + visions down in a special notebook

- In Roman Numerals, write your favourite/lucky number on your wrist, to use as a power booster in times of anxiety 

- Draw yourself a fancy Epsom Salt bath, purifying your body and elminiating yourself of toxins

- Liken your creativity to a muscle, needing to be exercised in whichever artistic and unique form of expression that may take (poetry, dancing, art, meditation, charitability)

- Keep a special golden candle to burn when you wish to let yourself feel extra-courageous, remembering that the colour gold is associated heavily with feelings of magic and passion. Carve a triangle into the wax, symbolising evenly distributed strength! ~
