A photo of the inside of a single-room bathroom. Perhaps unexpectedly, there is a brown skinned person with curly hair kneeling on the floor, dressed in outdoorsy clothing, and wielding a big DSLR camera with equally big lighting equipment on top. They are completely focused on a wooden chair which has been dragged in opposite the toilet, and has a blue file folder propped up on it. There is a Starbucks cup on top of the chair, which has been filled up with dirt and a small leafy branch stuck in the dirt. On the ground next to the chair is a green folder, and a plastic bag full clear vials (which you can't see in the photo but hold a variety of bugs waiting for their turn on the photo stage)

A portrait photo of a metallic blue-green wasp, taken from a three-quarters angle, with its head and midsection filling most of the frame. Its legs, wings, mandibles, and antennae are black. The individual hexagonal facets of its compound eye are visible, as are the fine bumpy texture of it's exoskeleton and short hairs on its legs. The sea-green color of the background, while not naturalistic, brings out the greens of the wasp.
