If I had a nickel for every time a character found out that a seemingly good woman was hurting people and got shot in the shoulder right after discovering the truth and taking action, splashing their partner dressed in white with blood and when everyone is running the partner stays put, completely horrified not knowing what to do, while the person they love is bleeding out - I’d have to nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

imma take a whole second to talk about the scene of buck calling out to his team bc. fuck. the raw but contained desperation. the clear sign of years passed and lessons learned and the forced calmness he knows he needs. the way he knows he’s talking to his sister but says “dispatch” anyway before breaking protocol. to think. and then act. he’s aware their lives depend on it. buck’s grown into a whole man, a whole teammate, and a whole firefighter, and i am in awe.

Like I feel like we as a fandom gloss over the fact how great Wilson really is at his job. My man realised a patient got a brain tumor because he didn’t want to talk about his grandkids. Like??? All the while being extremely focused on a different case of his, and handling all his other ones as well.

House always makes fun of him for it, but he really is an amazing doctor, all the while being such a calm and comforting presence… no wonder all his patients love him!!
