i was watching uraraka's fight with bakugou and logged onto here to see that anti and i am here to rant so buckle up.

it was cracking me up because bakugou was blowing ura up and he was like "she's still not dead" and i was wondering, do people seriously think he wanted to kill her there...? 😭 or when he blew up deku in deku v kacchan v1, did they think he wanted to kill deku too...? 😭😭

and it dawned on me that there are ppl who genuinely think he wanted to kill them... like do people still not understand that his die is a figure of speech? i feel like everyone, especially his antis, forgets that katsuki is not that fucking stupid, he is canonically higher ranked in the class academically than deku. he is no where near stupid. not only that, he is a rule follower through and through. do they really think he'd be so dumb as to think he could murder a classmate and still become a hero? 😭😭

and since he's so open to murder, why didn't he straight up kill those villains at usj??

what's this? a character speaks in a hyperbolized and exaggerated manner? one of the oldest shounen tropes in the book? travesty. cancelled. irredeemable.

and when they look at what characters say and take a gag literally to villainize bakugou, they're selective. because otherwise we'd have to talk about aizawa choking students with his capture scarf or all might punching deku when he's injured or all might being scared enough of gran torino that he starts visibly trembling. by bakugou anti logic, aizawa is the spawn of the devil, all might is an abuser and gran torino eats babies.

may I remind you that these kids are at a hero school. bakugou's power is literally explosions, a power which is already mega nerfed because of manga logic (you're telling me he can turn giant debris to dust with one blow but todo takes a howitzer to the face and doesn't die? no offense, but if explosions actually worked the way they should, not only would todoroki be literal smithereens, so would the entire audience behind him. bakugou would also be rupturing everyone's eardrums :D)

since they are at a hero school, they are expected to get fucking hurt. fuck, All Might, the damn Symbol of Peace, beats the shit out of bakugou and deku in their exam to the point of almost breaking deku's literal spinal column 😭😭😭😭 "why didn't bakuhoe get expelled for exploding deku in their training?!!!" it baffles me even more that so many people are hell bent on bakugou not deserving redemption and forgiveness when this guy's worst crime is being a school yard bully at 14.

deku is out here saying he's gonna try to save the person that tried to kill him multiple times, is a mass murderer and an accomplice in the destruction of an entire coastline in japan, likely tens of thousands dead and injured. deku is getting praised for saying he's going to save a person who did all that, but god forbid he forgive katsuki and katsuki recieve a second chance 😭😭

told deku to kill himself as a middle schooler and proceeded to save his life on several occasions? 🙅‍♀️🤢😡🤬 irredeemable sociopath

actually tried to kill deku multiple times and murdered thousands of others as a fully grown adult? it's ok his family life was bad 😇🥺🤪

remember when the sludge villain grabbing him specifically was the sole reason deku moved his ass and got noticed by all might? remember when deku modeled half of his image of victory around katsuki and literally emulates him when trying to win? remember when deku unlocked not one, but two aspects of his quirk because bakugou was being threatened? nevermind that he is a perfect star-crossed foil to deku.

ohh okay so with the drama cd, instead of Deku being like “Kacchan mine Kacchan mine!!” it was more like:

Oh no everyone, oh dear me my hope has been peaked once again. I’ll be staying quiet about it, but as this volume sinks in I see lots of people talking about that final shot, people who don’t ship byler. The people are taking. Also people talking about Mike’s shitty speech and how it felt like it was for the WRONG PERSON. We will see, but it’s definitely interesting.

Ok I haven’t seen anyone mention this, I looked on tumblr and Instagram but I couldn’t find anyone at least comment about it and I’m not sure if it’s because they noticed it but thought nothing of it because the last episode had many things that definitely made people lose hope or because the episode was too distracting but in Volume 2 episode 9 starting at 1:50:48 it shows Hawkins high school being looked at from a window in the van then the camera goes to Will who is looking straight ahead and at first Will is the focus while Mike is sitting directly behind him who is out of focus but then as the camera keeps moving towards the left Will starts to get out of focus while Mike starts to become more focused on. But the thing is, this scene focused on Mike the most and what he was looking at and that was Will. They intentionally had Mike staring at Will but for what reason, Mikes expression low-key looks concerned, sad or guilty honestly with Mike you never know but the point is Mike was intentionally staring at Will the same way Will has been staring at Mike this entire season. Proof they wanted us to think he was staring at Will is because if you watch the scenes before this whenever it showed the characters looking at the destruction they always looked outside the windows on the sides they never looked directly in front and another thing is, it wouldn’t make sense to have Mike look directly in front if it wasn’t to have him stare at Will because after this short byler scene it cuts to Jonathan and as you can see there is no reason for Mike to be looking directly in front if his intention was to look outside because it would be hard for him to see. So the Point is he was staring at Will and they wanted us to notice it for some reason. — I find it kinda funny that this was one of the fake spoilers that came true same with Max’s coma and The monologue. It says Mike said I Love you to El but it also says he gives a look to Will in the Van signifying there’s something more there. —If byler truly had no chance I think we shouldn’t have even gotten any crumbs in this volume but we did and the fact that monologue didn’t feel 100% genuine and that they only got together thanks to Wills help something is definitely up especially since other people are starting to realize something was off with Mike this season who aren’t just byler shippers and the way they were paired up at the end I mean idk but this Van scene was just something I noticed and wanted other byler shippers to talk about and to hopefully bring some hope back. Hope you have a good day and that this made some sense,😅 I’d love to hear your thoughts about it. I can’t stop watching this scene it’s so short but it feels like it speaks volumes.
