I made a small wannabe-movie poster of our D&D-roster. And we now have a name! Since our game is played in danish, the name “De Rå Få” won’t make sense to a lot of folks, but it translates to “The Roughed Few”. We are only two players and our GM. Raan Vallum is a no-nonsense half-orc mercenary-fighter and Calamus Wynn is a talkative dwarven cleric of the knowledge-domain.
more GNOME KNIGHT? (wip)
It is not all that often I make fanart, but Darkest Dungeon has given me insight into what a game can be and how it can be done. So I had to do it. I REALLY like that game. Like ... really. A lot.
Another fantasy character! As a follow-up to the elf fighter with the insectoid carapace armor, I wanted to make a dwarven character with a hand gonne. God I love dwarves!
I felt like I wanted get a clearer picture of what I wanted the world to be, in my little 2D side scroller. I gathered some references and got working on a mood piece. This is the result :)
You know what? Let's have some more goblins. A peaceful one and - eh, a less peaceful one.
You know what? I just realized that I never shared my reblog-blog here on my main blog. What’s up with that? I reblog things that I feel inspired by, art by people that I admire and beautiful art from talented friends! Sometimes even all of the above. http://uraniumraptorreblogs.tumblr.com/
”Fool’s Errand” This is a 4-pager comic thing that I never got to post (before now, duh). It feels fitting to post now since I just learned that Johann Johannsson pasted away some days ago. I was listening to The Beast from Sicario, which he composed, all the way through making this one. I am sad to hear of his passing since I was looking forward to hearing more soundtracks from his side. The idea for this one came from an advice in a twitter post where a young student said that her teacher had instructed them in making comics/visual novels that were 4 pages long. If they needed more pages than that, then the story was too long and they could have to correct it. It merged well with @mrjakeparker‘s advice on Finished, Not Perfect and so I got to work.
I made this birthday-drawing for my friend Peter the other day. I found that it was actually quite nice to clean up the drawing in hand. It has been a while since I have done that. It is currently in the process of getting a splash colour. And thanks to notjustanarmor and art-of-swords for lovely reference!
Another story piece from the D&D campaign that I am a part of. This was the major end-battle of our first chapter. As it turns out, the spell 'enlarge person', is a lot of fun!
