Golden Road by Martin Le Borgne
All im saying, it'd be better to start off fully with twine. Down the line, you might switch over from cs to twine and it'd be hassle trying to send over those variables from there to over there
Yeah, that thing that I was afraid of because I always had in mind to eventually make my game into twine. It might not compare, but I know the struggle of changing from one code source to another with past projects I did for college, and I really donβt want to stress over it when I could continue writing chapters.
We hit 1k! Here's your treat! Play the public demo of The Unseelie here now!
Return home to Nipa Beach for the summer from college...and discover far more than you ever wanted to.
π Meet your mother and old friends.
π Try and fail to deal with your grief.
π Meet a very adorable yellow tabby cat named Waffles and a loveable german shepherd named Luna!
π Decide your past relationships. Did you have a partner that was tragically taken from you too soon? Or were you entangled in a now-failed friends-with-benefits relationship that's bitter with regret? Or neither!
This is the first part of Chapter One: The Beginning of the End. It currently sits at around 13,800 words.Β
As always, if you come across any errors or typos, feel free to send me some screenshots!
In a sea of constant change, does a ship remain true, when every plank replaced, and every sail anew?
[DEMO TBA]
we all know the ship of theseus' dilemma. Is it the same ship?
is it not the same ship?
what you know is that it's yours.
every morning after a full moon, you wake to witness a part of it replaced.
you're the captain of this cursed ship, you and your crew bound to it like day and night are to each other. despite the curse, you've known a life full of adventure and travels, exploring and seizing the waters. all this, you know.
until you don't.
this morning, no member of your crew can find the object that's been replaced.
what happens when for the first time since this curse has been set, not an object has been replaced, but a personβor a part of themβ has?
you wake in a captain's cabin. are you the same captain?
are you not the same captain?
you know nothing.
My pretty mc Ophelia in the story @unshackled-if
(I may or may not have done also the biggest red flagπ©maybe gonna post later if I like it enough)
Aurelian/Soul Collector poly, you say? π Not gonna lie, I really need that in my life. Mostly because I need MC to whimper suffer.
sorry anon, it was something I had thought about wayyy back when I started writing this story. But now I've realized that I can't really see Aurelian or SC being okay with it. They aren't keen on sharing MC. π
Looks cool, but what do you mean redemption? From what I can tell the Mc was betrayed by his king and comrades through no fault of his own. Do you mean redeeming the order or something like that?
You're right. The term "redemption" can refer to making up past mistakes or wrongdoing. But in the context of the story, the redemption the MC is after involves seeking justice(or other methods π) over the order and the betrayal they have experienced.
Maybe I could've worded it out better? What do you think? π€
Thank you for checking out my wip! <3
I'm glad your alright! I hope your day is alright!<3
