Caretaker Helping Whumpee Wash Their Hair And Gently Drying It Afterwards

(Disclaimer) The way I'm explaining it is coming from memory which may not be totally correct so I apologize and hope someone can find it with the information I have.

I know for sure it’s most likely Steve Rogers/James “Bucky” Barnes, but I don't remember if it’s on AO3 or a Wattpad. (Most likely AO3) Sam Wilson is a side character as well as possibly Helen Cho, T’Challa, and Shuri as the part I remember takes place in Wakanda. It would also fall under the tag of Hurt/Injured Steve Rogers or Hidden Injury. Another thing I remember is that it was Civil War and right after Tony, Bucky, and Steve fought in Siberia they went to Wakanda to get Bucky’s mind and arm fixed. I think that Steve had gone to rescue the others in the raft (after Bucky went into cryo) including Sam with his hidden injuries otherwise I’m not sure how Sam had gotten to Wakanda with Steve and Bucky but I don't remember any of the other captured Avengers with them but they could have been with them. It was T’Challa, Steve, and Sam talking and so Steve thanked T’challa for help in Siberia and helping Bucky (I don't think Bucky was in this conversation since I think he was in cryo MAYBE), and then Steve started to walk down the hall. Steve then passed out in the hallway and Sam ran towards Steve to help him, It turned out Steve was hiding that his whole chest and sternum were bruised from Tony's repulsor.

kind of a big fan of throwing characters into a cage. also they're branded and tied up. but their eyes are you know, feral and they're going to snap at any second

Whumpers saying "I'm sorry"

In a soft coo as a knife is dragged along whumpee’s skin, “I’m sorry, darling. I don’t want to hurt you, you know that but we can’t have you trying to escape, can we?”  

With mockery dripping from whumper’s tongue. “Aw, did that hurt? I’m sorry.” 

Staring into the eyes of whumpee after they successfully escape,  head slightly cocked. “I’m sorry but you were so very easy to hurt, how could I have ever passed that up?” 

“Oh I’m sorry.” Whumper tears out the knife from caregiver’s throat, blood painting over everything like the slow draw of shadows at dusk. “Was that your friend?” 

A hand clasping onto whumpee’s shoulder after they’ve been free for weeks, many months, hot breath tickling the side of their face “I’m sorry, I’m the last person you want to see, huh?” 

Whumpee blubbering apologies at whumper’s feet. Whumper kneels down, taking whumpee’s quivering face in their hands, ever so gently, cupping their cheeks. A smile that could have warmed even the coldest of hearts slid over their lips. “No, no. I’m sorry for thinking I could give you an inch of freedom. I should have known you couldn’t handle it.” 

“Oops, sorry. I meant to carve that into your right side. Guess we’ll have to just do it again, my mistake.” 

“I’m sorry? Do you think that’s good enough? A simple ‘I’m sorry’ after how bad you’ve been? How about you try again but at my feet this time?” 

desperately need more stereotypically noncon whump tropes used in completely nonsexual whump scenes

weeks after being rescued whumpee finds a video of their torture on the darknet with millions of views and sickening comments

whumpee worrying/thinking that whumper is right about that whumpee being high on the pain means whumpee likes what whumper is doing to them

whumpee who is fine otherwise until someone does something relatively mild that whumpee associates with the whump. whumpee getting instant flashbacks and being reduced to a shell of themselves for the time being / pales immediately, not getting out a single word, completely frozen like a deer in headlights

rescued whumpee worrying that everyone who interacts with them secretly harbors the desire to hurt whumpee for their own enjoyment. that no one can see them as human, that everyone sees them as just a punching bag

whumpee who freezes with wide eyes at the slightest sign of violence against them

whumpee who is incredibly embarrassed about what whumper did to them

"it's your fault you look so punchable" / whumper victim blaming whumpee

whumpee being scared caretaker might drop their act and behave like whumper

Heat Whump

As promised, Whump ideas that including heat. And as a person who hates heat with a freezing passion, this is gonna hurt to think about…

Hot showers, either to cool down after a nightmare or be forced into by a Whumper

A hot bath, same thing as the shower, may work as comfort or as whumping material

Boiling water, Whumper threatening to boil their limps, or maybe they’ll boil some kind of meat and tell Whumpee it was one of their loved ones, or maybe it was one of their loved ones?!

A fire place, many things can happen here, and fire alone can be terrifying

Put a metal poker in the heat and you’ve got yourself a really ugly weapon

Or maybe force our dearest Whumpee’s hands into the fire, or into the still gleaming ashes

Branding with a hot branding iron is sooo delicious too! So really, burn Whumper’s name into Whumpee’s flesh. Or maybe the company that owns them! Remind the little thing who is in control by steering it into their skin!

Hot days are torture too! Force Whumpee out on a burning out day wearing winter clothing

Or maybe it’s Vampire!Whumpee getting chained to a pole on a hot, sunny day! Whumper just wants to watch the pretty sunrise with his darling Vampire!

Masterlist

Caretaker moves a little too quickly or brings their hand just a little too close to whumpees face.

They flinch, expecting a slap.

Caretaker immediately realizes, backtracking. “I’m not going to hit you,” they say, trying to soothe a Whumpee who is now looking at them, tears of betrayal in their eyes.

Manhandling--especially done in silence.

Whumpee wincing and freezing under whumper's weight as they realize they're trapped; if they move any more their wrist is going to break

Guards shoving in a manacled, stumbling whumpee before the king, kicking him to his knees and forcing him to bow so low his forehead hits the flagstones

Fist in the hair to yank whumpees head up

Or fingernails bruising into the cheeks for the same goal

Whumpee frustrated to rage that they aren't being allowed to just walk straight, instead they have to throw them into walls and slam them down into seats

Looking up with a livid glare at main whumper when they get there

Whumpee starting to speak, "wait, just--" gets yanked so hard the words catch before he staggers forward

"I can walk." Whumpee growls next time they come for him. Snarky guard--"well, you're to be dragged."

When the whumpers step away from whumpee, now tied up and gagged on the floor, panting through his nose

Humiliating punishments like whipping while whumpee is tied up like this, whumpee floundering awkwardly away with a muffled shriek at every strike

Holding whumpee's arms so whumper can punch them over and over in the stomach

A lineup of prisoners, but whumpee is the only one that gets thrown and kicked into position

Doctor having to enter in casual/private/plain clothes, because whumpee shows such a viscerally negative reaction to anyone in a coat/med clothing.

Maybe they thought about restraining whumpee, but the struggling would reopen wounds. Or they thought about sedating whumpee, but the sedative would interact negatively with the plethora of other medications whumpee is already taking.

Or maybe they just decided that a change of clothes is the most humane thing to do.

"God. Fuck. Please don't d- Please stop-"

"Hm?"

The Doctor makes an incision. Precise. Sharp. The skin feels so impossibly thin. So easy to reach under. It's like drawing on paper.

"Jesus christ- Jesus fucking christ- Oh god-"

The Doctor reaches in. Rubber gloves against raw flesh, forearms covered in fresh blood. What a horrible texture.

The Patient is heaving in shock. On the inclined bed, he has no other choice but to look right at the wound gaping across his stomach. It moves with each gasp for air. Like a mouth. An orifice that was always meant to be there, moving in rhythm with the rest of the body.

"I forgot to get the retractors. But I reckon you could do the job, no?"

"What?"

"I'm going to loosen the restraints on your hands, so you can reach it."

"What-"

The Patient asks again, barely hearing the words over his own hitched breathing. The Doctor grabs his two wrists - completely unbothered by the blood smearing on them - and positions his hands over the wound.

"Hold that open for me, will you?"

His fingers are guided in place, forced to dig deep, while his arms are pulled apart slowly. Bright red viscera beneath the freshly opened layers. Like it has always wanted to be seen, glistening under the light.

"No, no, no- no, please don't- please I'm-"

"Sshh. Just hold it there. Keep it open."

"No- no- I can't-"

Not feeling the pain might even be more terrifying. Only the view remains. And the sounds. The stomach-turning smell of his own blood. His fingers, clamped in place by complete shock. And the growing cold, slowly seeping into his whole trembling body.

”you can just make an oc” you dont understand anything. the character needs to mutate naturally until unrecognizable. like all evolutionary processes it takes time. you can’t force it or it doesn’t take. you must endure weird ooc thematically discordant versions of a guy until they bud off into beautiful new life. have patience
