Okay so no I didn’t have an ask to answer about him but someone did ask in the replies so I say close enough
I love these two a lot already
Caiman adopted Little Bug, calling him by that nickname since it was one of the only words he knew. Also yes, he has a genetic mutation where he has two tails and two stingers/barbs. Yes, she loves him very much and also yes sometimes he gets really confused why mom doesn’t have a stinger at all.
{ID: Three frames consisting of two dragons, a very small tan and brown one and a much larger maroon and red one.
The tan and brown one has two tails, and is a different kind of dragon than the large one.
‘yes he has two stingers’
‘I don’t think that changes anything’
‘Still my Little Bug.’
‘BUG!’
END ID}

Unsorted WOF thoughts part 159:
A list of reasons why The Dangerous Gift is probably my favorite book in the mainline series and definitely my favorite book in arc 3:
We finally get to check up on Pyrrhia and see the aftermath of arc 2.
The reveal that Tundra was really just a repressed weirdo, even by IceWing standards.
Glacier's death wasn't meaningless or for shock value.
Snowfall's PTSD isn't ignored.
Snowfall gets to be dramatic as hell in ways that are as hilarious as they are sad.
Snowfall and Lynx spend literally like 80% of the book by each others' sides.
The reveal that Winter wasn't actually banished by Snowfall, and Snowfall subsequently calling him a drama queen (she's one to talk.).
The reveal that Crystal wasn't plotting anything, and was literally just hanging out in Sanctuary. (IceWing royalty just LOVES to assume the worst in their family.)
More Qinter.
It introduces Wren.
Snowfall becomes the most informed character in the series, making her pov worth reading through.
We finally get an explanation and justification for the disappearance of animus magic in a way that makes sense.
Mink.
"It was inside you all along." Played completely straight finally. I'm tired of novels that hate tropes.
The book ends with Snowfall literally smashing racism and classism to pieces with her fists.
🗣️ WE'RE WAITING EVERY NIGHT TO FINALLY ROAM AND INVITE
Day 10 for @wof-october-prompts!! Today's prompt was "Cave" and I had the idea this morning to draw the Dragonets of Destiny returning to their old cave home after the story's over. Get some closure, hopefully bury Dune, get some scrolls they'll need for JMA.
If I'm honest I'm... not entirely happy with this one. But even if I aimed high I fell short; five characters is A LOT, and I am happy with the character's expressions and the rendering detail, so I'm trying not to let it bother me too much.
she's literally me
