I Wish There Was A Way To Ask For Money Without Doxxing Myself. I Have Seven Dollars To Last Me Until

I wish there was a way to ask for money without doxxing myself. I have seven dollars to last me until the 28th and I need forty bucks for transport to my job.

I think a major part of destigmatizing narcissism is realizing that it's okay that we have stereotypically "bad" characteristics.

narcissists are arrogant, self-obsessed, egocentric, insecure, antagonistic, callous, irritable, so on and so forth. some of us (such as Myself) are all of these things, and every one of us fits at least some.

anti-narc sanism will never truly be addressed if those who defend us say "they're not selfish/attention-seeking/uncaring! they're just traumatized and struggling," because that's just not true.

most of us are those things because we're traumatized/struggling; these conditions aren't mutually exclusive, but directly influence and cause each other.

non-narcissists are allowed to have flaws, and we should, too. we don't deserve basic decency because we're selfless, compassionate souls hidden under a layer of traumatized self-service, but because we're still people regardless of how we think and feel.

Wait a second are you pro endo?

I'm not a system, I have absolutely zero authority to speak on the issue and I don't have skin in the game so even if I did know enough about the discourse to have an opinion on it, my opinion would mean nothing. I am not educated enough to have an opinion and every time I try to do research it just winds up confusing me even more and again, I have no right to have an opinion here anyways as a singlet.

I'm neither pro-endo nor anti-endo, neither pro-sysmed nor anti-sysmed. It's not my place to have an opinion here even if I knew enough to have one. I'm sorry if this answer isn't satisfactory, but it's the only answer I feel I can give. My opinion doesn't matter here and I think the best thing I can do is acknowledge that and not try to insert my unimportant and likely ill-informed opinion where it is not needed.

I can't for the life of me understand the issue and so much of the information is contradictory and complicated. So I think it's best I simply not have an opinion at all.

That's not how telekinesis works

[Plain text: That's not how telekinesis work]

(Disclaimer; I am not paraplegic, just a nerd)

Stop making Charles Xavier use his telekinesis to walk.

In order to do that, he would need to concentrate extremely hard and it would be very complicated. Keep in mind that he readily admitted that he's "no Marvel Girl," meaning that he's not a high-level telekinetic like Jean Grey, so he might not even be capable of the amount of control you're going for. If he is, it's not practical and there's no reason he would go for that other than the writer being ableist.

Guys, why go for ableism when there's already a far better thing Charles Xavier does? In canon, he uses his telekinesis when he needs to lift his wheelchair over stairs or other obstacles. In one instance where he did this, at a Hellfire Gala, it was him being petty because he's dealt with way to much to not enter the gala through the front door. At that point, he was being petty and that infinitely funnier than an ableist idea where he can magically move his legs even though there's literally no reason for him to do that.

Autism Acceptance Month Fact #20

Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is one of the first and most common interventions recommended for autistic children.

However, most autistic adults say that ABA is traumatic and unethical, treating autistics as a problem that needs to be solved by teaching autistics that they cannot be themselves if they want to be accepted.

as my own direct immediate list of game grievances i hate that stardew valley expects you to side against a wheelchair user who is upset that he was moved without his consent. i hate that the mass effect trilogy gives you visible scarring as a direct result of choosing mean dialogue and heals it if you're nice. i hate that the vampire the masquerade ttrpg has a monstrous player class that can appear as horrible vampiric monsters or as visibly disabled people and both of these appearances are mechanically the same. i hate that dark souls games have a difficulty level implemented in a way that cannot be adjusted for disability. i hate that i can play as a mermaid or a werewolf or a horse in the sims games but can't use a wheelchair. i hate that the ace attorney games have so much flashing and not all of the games can disable it. i hate that disability is constantly something that happens to teach a lesson, i hate that disability is something that happens as a punishment, i hate that disability is either compensated perfectly with no drawbacks or something that is endlessly sought to be cured. i hate that no character customization will ever include the mobility aids i use, that the player avatars that represent me will never look like me. i am so goddamn annoyed and so goddamn tired.

the mods of cripplecharacters are god's strongest warriors because some of those asks are really just "hey can i use this disability trope? I know you guys said it's offensive like 10 times already but i don't care and i wanted to use it anyways. Btw here's the most ableist oc scenario you've ever seen" like at this point i would just start telling people to fuck off and read previously made posts before they ask me another dumbass question
