It has now been 6 years since The Last Jedi changed the course of my life and gave me the hope and strength I needed at my lowest point. I’m grateful for it every day. Rey reminds me to never give up, to help people whenever I can, to be the light. Kylo reminds me to let the past die when I need to, and not to be afraid of change.

Today marks exactly five years since I sat down in a theater and experienced Star Wars: The Last Jedi for the first time. Five years later, I feel even more grateful for this movie, and the hope and inspiration it continues to bring me. Rian Johnson, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, thank you for bringing my favorite story of all time to life. I cannot thank you enough.

i really hope this guy never becomes obscure. he's not just a cartoon character to me hes a historical icon. a relic from a very specific time in the 2010s that helped shape modern fandom culture. immortalized on forearm tattoos, graffiti murals, bootleg redbubble tshirts, tree carvings, and tumblr sexyman polls worldwide. like a bug trapped in amber, except it's a really fucked up bug who collects teeth and has a cult-like internet presence. he's like the mickey mouse of deviantart zoomers. also he is very nicely shaped
