I’ve been counting down every day since the book was announced. The wait is more than halfway over! Soon, we’ll meet Bill again…

One of these days, I really need to start writing detailed analyses about every Taylor Swift song that reminds me of Gravity Falls characters. I have so many thoughts about them

Dear Reader is about the entire Pines family, especially Stan and Ford, their experiences, and the lessons they learned in Gravity Falls. I imagine them writing it all down in Journal 3.

Since there does not already seem to be one, I propose that 3/26 is Bill Cipher Day. Let’s get weird, make nonsense, and have fun!! :)

Because Jheselbraum only appears in Journal 3, there is no official pronunciation for her name that I know of. I assumed it was pronounced like Jee-sel (rhyming with easel), but I’ve heard other people pronouncing it as Jez-el (rhyming with bezel). I’m curious about how common both pronunciations are. It’s okay if you aren’t familiar with her, just answer for how you’d say her name.

I’m sitting there trying to gently calm Bill down and talk to him. I have a magnifying glass, camera, stethoscope, flashlight, and a soft blanket just in case I need to wrap him in it for any reason

I like to think of me and my Gravity Falls mutuals as like all sitting in a circle in a room lit by one lightbulb with Bill Cipher in the middle, all of us trying to interrogate/dissect him. Four of us are holding mallets. He is terrified.
