Ok Srsly Who Invented Color Guard??? Like One Day “sir You Know How Me And Some Guys Carry Our Country’s

Last year was my first season. This year my instructor says I can do rifles. Any tips on how NOT to suck?

Tips on how not to suck at rifle:1. DO NOT EVER TELL YOURSELF YOU CAN’T DO SOMETHING. Obviously, if you’re new to rifle, you won’t get everything on the first try. So it’s important to try everything you’re asked to do, even if you drop. Thats why practice is so important.2. Know the parts of the rifle: butt, neck, bolt, swivel, tip. (I’ll post a picture for you after this answer) 3. Drop spins are that hard, but they take a while to get used to. Keep your hand in a taco shape and press your thumb against the neck every time you grab it. 4. Rifle is a very sharp and precise weapon. Make sure your tosses are sharp and tight, not lofty. Your preps need to be sharp, and locked in. Make sure you push down hard enough with your left hand so you get the right rotations. Also make sure your release point are exact (singles at belly button, doubles at chest, triples at shoulder, quads at ear lobe, etc)5. Don’t consider yourself the weakest link because you’re in training. That won’t help you accomplish anything. Of course a lot of people will be better than you, but they have more experience. They were in your place at once. So don’t let that freak you out. I love rifle , i’ve been spinning it for 3 years now. I hope you grow to love it and you’re rifle line members just as much as I do.
