Brian May after talking about how his dad finally accepted him as a musician.

Up until that time, his father thought that Brian had kind of thrown his life away, running away from school to go join a rock band. But then Brian flew over his parents to see Queen play in New York and after the show, Brian’s parents having seen just how much the fan got hyped up and how they sang along and everything, his dad said “Ok.
