Most of the time I'm willing to tank my bad taste in videogame romance options because my excellent taste balances it out, but I feel the need to explain my first rune factory 4 marriage, Amber.
Amber is the freaking Nowi fire emblem of rune factory, looks and acts very childish, further upsets me over all the other women throughout rune factory that should be marriageable but aren't.
But I need it to be known that the 3DS version is buggy, and my first copy I suspect came from an attempted hacker/modder because the jank goes above and beyond what other people talk about being the norm. Every 2 or 3 days in my first copy people would say Kiel's birthday was tomorrow for a start. I brought Amber to town in my playthrough a day or two before the de fluffing festival and found Her kink shaming the wooly hilarious, so I started talking to her daily while attempting to romance Forte in hopes of more jabs when, at all of half of one heart, Amber's marriage requirement event started playing the first couple cutscenes about as frequently as I was told about Kiel's birthday.
The result was that, I got the highly inaccurate impression that Amber's character was "Snarky cynic with a temper who puts on a fake cutesy persona to meet people's expectations and has a mysterious secret they regularly leave town in the middle of the night over."
When I got the special edition on the switch I was thrown for one heck of a loop.
My 3DS copy also had glitched bamboo shoots that could sometimes be harvested multiple times and the rest of the time disappeared when hit with the hoe like dead weeds, but that doesn't have anything to do with my taste in women.
More Lucky Find Salvage stuff, including the salvager's childhood friend/mechanic Tam
Tokusatsu MegaMan sketches
I've finalized Vanna/the holder but I still can't figure out Svardsanda/the sword/Justice
So it turns out hologram/AI characters are super fun
Day 7- Personality
The Red Girl rumors describe an expressionless ghost like figure silently witnessing Rampant Machine attacks, or talking to constructs before disappearing.
The Red Girl that Mary has found is (relatively) expressive. Prone to uncomfortable and stilted attempts at flirting(?) as well as quiet displays of anger when encountering damaged or abandoned machines. Underneath all of these behaviors is a deeply obsessive nature and lack of boundaries.
Day 13- Peachy palette
Pomme worked in hydroponics on the Angel Nest, and on the surface has been struggling to adapt to the old fashioned soil based farms, and trying to make viable crops from wild plants
I like when people give shadow old tastes in music and movies
