My mom thinks that pansexuality is a made up term and that people can’t be pansexual, as well as also denying the existence of asexuality and bisexuality. I’d like to show her this post.

Just looked up the number of characters identified as asexual vs aromantic according to Wikipedia and oh man the numbers are really.... not a lot tbh:

59 asexual vs 19 aromantic

59 sounds like kinda a lot but when you think about how that’s spread over tv, film, animation, video games, literature, web comics, graphic novels etc its almost nothing.

And then only 19 aromantic characters, with only 1 of those listed NOT also identifying as asexual (aka 18 are asexual aromantic).

Obviously there might be more ace and aro characters than this, these numbers are just what’s listed on the respective Wikipedia pages, but either way the lack of ace and aro rep in the media is just not good enough.

Ace and aro people deserve to see themselves represented in the media.

Asexuality and aromanticism are not intrinsically linked, one can exist without the other.

Me: There was always some form "companionship" if you will between Luna and Justin. They would fire words at each other and would find some sort of enjoyment in this kind of banter she didn't like him because he hurt her friend but other than that she had no problem with him until his group beat her up. But the moment she met Richard he took one look at her and decided she wasn't worth the time it took to even acknowledge her anger while Justin would always take time to pick a fight with her, Richard instantly shut her off and would barely even give her the enjoyment of angry banter. She felt true hatred for him because her problem was mostly with her instead of with Nathan and he showed his anger differently I like it because it shows that Luna and Justin were never really enemies the way she and Richard were so it allows the redemption for Justin and lets me write their awesome friend dynamic

What people think why i became a bookbinder: Oh she wants to explore her artistic horizon with those pretty leather bound books of hers. She even gives them out as gifts to her friends. It most likely helps her with anxiety or maybe she just wanted a more special costume made notebook.

Why I actually became a bookbinder: I just illegally downloaded and printed out several of my favourite fanfics and books and started binding them into books cuz I love reading them but looking at screens for too long gives me headaches.
