back to tf2 stuff again!

pretty random one, but i feel like demoman would write books in his spare time about the supernatural! he has a very popular book that is about a young boy who is haunted by a ghost. however, he dropped writing after his mother kept saying it wasn’t good enough and didn’t make enough money. after mann. co hired him, he’s had a lot of time to write in between battles. there’s one book about a rivalry between two boys that ends up with the other dead that was inspired by his rivalry with soldier in the War! Update.

plot twist: this is how Herlock confessed

Transcription:

Herlock: ...Love is when two grown ups start craving more than just business handshakes and platonic ice cream breaks. 

Hosonaga: ...What do you mean, Sholmes?

Herlock:  Love makes two people want to go on romantic ice cream breaks and drink all kinds of exotic elixirs and nectars together!

Hosonaga: ...Are you quite alright?

Herlock:  When two grown ups are in love, they'll make joint-bank accounts together and go to the movies together, to feed popcorn kernels to the rats and cockroaches there.

Hosonaga: Do--Do you have a fever?

Herlock:  And one day, if you're lucky, your partner'll take away the kids forever, and go marry Steve, the guy in your accounting firm who works in the same cubicle as you, but makes 6% more per year than you, and you can finally have a good night's sleep.

Hosonaga: Sholmes, what are you implying?

Herlock:  That's love, my dear friend!

What I’d give for one of the Cinderella remakes to go into how when you’re in an isolated and abusive situation, sometimes you need to be saved and you’re not weak if you can’t escape by yourself

I’ve never been a fan of bad faith reinterpretations of fairy tales, especially ones which flatten the originals into “princesses is saved by a prince and nothing else”, to then go #girlboss. The princess can save herself because she’s a strong female character! (Implying if you’re in a bad situation, it’s because you’re not strong enough to get out)
